Experiencia fantástica: Working with Sue was a wonderful experience. She is professional and very knowledgeable about the Eldorado community, which is very important when marketing a home where there are septic systems, well water systems, and the necessity for surveyors and other specialists when selling such a property. Our home sold in four days over the asking price. If you are looking for a professional realtor to work with who is reliable and a good communicator...look no further, it's Sue Garfitt you'll want to connect with.

Experiencia fantástica: My family has worked with Sue for close to 40 years, and we are so grateful to her expertise and partnership. She has been careful with every detail, has handled every transaction mindfully, and was always honest with her feedback. Thank you, Sue, for everything!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve known of Sue Garfield since moving to Eldorado 12 years ago. Even then, she and her partner Fred at Santa Fe Properties were probably the best known realtors in the community. Both lived here and both contributed their personal time to make Eldorado and the surrounding area the special place it is. When Fred retired, Sue stayed on. I hadn’t dealt with her personally until a friend of mine from out of town asked me to go with her to find a lot in Eldorado to build on. I found Sue very pleasant to work with and she remained so even when my friend ended up buying a mid-century modern in the Midwest. Since then I’ve had several friends who were happy to have used her to buy or sell their homes. So she was the first person I thought of when we found a house in La Paz for our son and his family, who were moving from Los Angeles. We asked her to represent us as the buyers’ agent. It was a great decision. She was our navigator through the labyrinth of offers, counter offers, home inspections and closing details. We made our original offer in late December and closed in late January on the date Sue had predicted. The best recommendation I can give is, if we had to do it all over again, we would choose Sue.

Experiencia fantástica: Sue Garfitt represented our home to prospective buyers with efficiency and experience. She saw to it that our home was clean and presentable. She marketed our home expertly. She represented us when questions arose. She persisted in a difficult market. She kept us informed of issues. She listened and gave good advice, yet she respected our wishes as well. She did all of this, and more, while we were living in another state. We were confident in her ability as a realtor.

Experiencia fantástica: Sue Garfitt is an absolute gem. She is gifted in a unique way with her many , many abilities to navigate the craziness of selling a home with grace, professionalism, focus , and understanding of all the highs and lows that inevitably happen along the way. Sue has loads of experience, a great understanding of real estate, and keeps it all on track. I found myself stepping back to watch her work (in admiration) and communicate with various contractors to prepare the house to sell with care and respect, all while remaining calm and respectful of everyone involved. I trust her completely and hope to work along side her another day.

Experiencia fantástica: Sue G provided the necessary support to present our house in photos and advertising. The real-estate market was shifting to a buyers market therefore our time to sold was longer. But a buyer arrived and the sale closed. There were a lot of documents to approve, but Sue insured that they were submitted in a timely manner. LAG

Experiencia fantástica: When we purchased our home in Eldorado we worked with Sue. The process could not have moved more quickly and smoothly. We gave Sue a list of our “must haves”. She showed us one house that checked all our boxes, and that was the house we purchased. Sue was there for us, 110%. Now, several years later we have worked with Sue again to sell our home. And again, the process could not have moved more quickly and smoothly. Sue managed the entire process: the house went under contract quickly, negotiations and inspections were completed without a hitch and the closing, (which was done while we were out of state), was completed seamlessly. Again, Sue was there for us, 110%. We can’t recommend her highly enough. Noll/Seaborn Family

Experiencia fantástica: Sue was very responsive to all of our needs and got back with us quickly. She was very patient with us as there were several required closing extensions requiring additional paperwork. I recommend Sue for any of your real estate needs. John Di Janni, Custom Home Builder.

Experiencia fantástica: Sue was so kind and empathetic at a time of our loss and helped us move quickly through the selling process. Sue went out of her way to help us prepare the house for sale, helping us find places to donate items and finding a good cleaning service. Her knowledge of the area is outstanding, she understands the market and was patient and thorough in her explanations of the selling process. I really appreciated her realistic approach, her commitment to doing things with an environmental conscience and her calm expertise.

Experiencia fantástica: Sue recently helped with the sale of my deceased father’s home. She went above and beyond to assist in getting resources to help clean and take care of his possessions, as well as tracking down information on the property that we (his children) didn’t know about. She coordinated a long distance closing too. I highly recommend Sue. She’s kind as well as being knowledgeable and professional.

Her knowledge of the market resulted in a list price that was higher than we expected and the offers we received (after only 24 hours) were even higher.

Experiencia fantástica: Sue is a great realtor. We heard about her when we chose to focus on Eldorado. I don't think anyone knows this market better than Sue. In addition to knowing the market very well, she was efficient, timely, and thoughtful. We had limited time because we came from eastern Kansas, so we needed the extra help Sue gave us. We have bought and sold a lot of real estate through the years and our experience with Sue was truly superior.

She had great advice and suggestions as to what was needed to have my house ready to show. Her direction was spot on. Experiencia fantástica: We cannot recommend Sue Garfitt strongly enough. She is an excellent realtor in all respects. Highly knowledgeable about Eldorado and the US-285 Corridor. Long and successful experience in this market. Easy and pleasant to work with. Through the years we lived in Eldorado, we consulted Sue occasionally for reevaluation of our property and advice on maintenance, with regard to future marketability. When time came for us to sell, Sue ably guided us through the process: when the market was right to list; how to price it; how to deal with critical details such as roof and septic inspections. The final result was highly satisfactory - quick sale at near asking price. In our case, Sue represented the buyers as well. She handled the conflicting interests with discretion and skill and assisted the negotiations to an outcome beneficial to both parties. Sue Garfitt is active in the Eldorado area community and focused on that market. Her expertise and deep experience make her, in our judgment, the preeminent realtor in Eldorado.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I recently moved to Eldorado from Texas. A friend suggested we contact Sue. It was a great suggestion. We called Sue and let her know what we were interested in as well as our price range. When we were ready, Sue showed us several properties that met our criteria. She is knowledgeable about the area and made helpful suggestions. Once we found the house of our dreams, she helped us navigate the system. Our purchase went off without a hitch. We have called on her a couple times since we moved in to get some suggestions for repair and remodel people. Again, she pointed us in the right direction. I have no hesitation recommending Sue. We enjoyed getting to know her.

Experiencia positiva: Sue will work and stay until the house is sold.

Experiencia fantástica: Over the years my wife and I had to move on a number of occasions due to professional demands. This, of course, required the marketing and selling of each of our homes as we moved about the country. At the end of our road here in Santa Fe, I found Sue Garfitt to be one of the most professional, well versed and studied in real estate law, financing and the like, as well an intelligent, articulate, patient ( a most critical value/asset in my humble opinion) realtor with a most appropriate sense of humor (another critical value/asset if you ask me). There wasn't a single issue, problem, challenge or expectation during the sale of this property that Sue did not address and resolve, never miss a beat. I can recommend Sue to you without any reservations whatsoever.

Experiencia positiva: Sue is a lovely person with many years of experience selling homes in Eldorado, where she also lives. We enjoyed working with her, though the timing of our sale was unfortunate (right before the increase in interest rates) so it did take a while.
