Fast forward to 2026, and we wouldn't have considered working with anyone else when buying our forever home. Our second experience with her has only reinforced why we recommended her so highly the first time. We first worked with Nicki Banucci five years ago when we bought our starter townhome, and we had such a great experience that when it came time to buy our forever home, we knew we wanted to work with her again. Nicki was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She helped us understand comps and offer strategy, guided us on which homes were worth pursuing, and had a fantastic eye for details we would have missed—from potential issues like large trees or power lines to much smaller things that could easily go unnoticed. Her experience and network were also a huge advantage for us in a very competitive market. She is extremely well connected and had valuable insight into the local market and the dynamics around the homes we were considering. When we found the home we really wanted, that knowledge helped us understand how to position our offer strategically and ultimately win in a competitive bidding situation. One moment that really stood out was when she noticed that two of the wall-mounted kitchen cabinets were missing their doors. We barely noticed, but Nicki spotted the doors among all the staging and leftover items in the garage, followed up with the seller's agent, and made sure the right hardware was tracked down so they could be reinstalled. It's the kind of small thing that really shows how observant and thorough she is. Her communication is also lightning fast—her replies were practically instant. When we needed measurements from the house for vendor quotes, she drove over herself, took the measurements, and texted them to us, saving us an extra trip. And when she was traveling, she made sure we had coverage for our home inspection so we were supported throughout the process. Nicki also put a tremendous amount of effort into advocating for us with the seller's agent, including around the appliance issues. Even when responses from the other side were slow and required a lot of back-and-forth, Nicki stayed on top of it, kept following up, and continued pushing on our behalf. I am the Administrator in probate for his estate, and this was a difficult job as the house was fire damaged. The listing and sale of a non-habitable probate property comes with some unique challenges that take an experienced realtor.
