Experiencia negativa: Too expensive. They don't take care of serious issues! But allow other (grumpy busy bodies) residents to walk around and photograph people's property, file petty & frivolous complaints that do not violate the covenants. They are quick to call you to report that some old busybody doesn't like something at the back of your property that does not violate covenants. Yet, they will not address very serious issues. Rarely answer the phone, rarely return phone calls or emails. Do not recommend! They support the repub party!

Experiencia negativa: Our HOA management has completely failed to maintain basic community standards while simultaneously enabling harassment of residents. For WEEKS our broken mailboxes haven’t been replaced and our security gate remains broken - yet we continue paying our dues with no results. Meanwhile, a random individual with NO actual HOA authority (confirmed by neighbors) has been given free rein to walk around our community photographing residents’ yards and documenting “violations” like weeds that appeared A DAY AFTER IT RAINED. When I attempted to file a complaint about this person, I discovered the management company has no record of him having any official capacity. Yet he’s acting like an overzealous enforcer with outrageous standards. See photos attached of my alleged yard “ridden with weeds and trash”. This is a textbook example of management that ignores legitimate maintenance responsibilities while enabling busybody harassment of paying homeowners. The priorities here are completely backwards.

Experiencia negativa: I am currently renting from this company and it's not been a very good experience up to this point. It took a year to get a leak in the ceiling fixed still has not been resolved. They think fixing the exterior (roof) will correct the bubble inside the house i guess. I have had a table and chairs in my front yard for a year and now being told it's an eyesore and my child's basketball goal is in the yard by the road like most houses have it and now after a year of it in the same spot I'm being told its a danger/hazard so I need to put it in my driveway where I park my vehicle. Not to mention being harassed through text message while im at work for this. I'll be contacting the license department for real-estate because they are violating ethic codes.

Experiencia fantástica: I have reached out to Jack as a neighboring HOA homeowner and he has always been nothing but helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. He is both extremely compassionate while being extremely professional. I just can't say enough about how he both cares and is willing to explain things from the perspective of the management company position that is balanced and informative. Above and beyond exemplary service to relationships between HOA boards, homeowners, and management companies in the area! He should teach a course!

Experiencia positiva: I've been very pleased with most all of my maintenance interactions while renting from Corder. I had one negative incident of which the issue was the contractor not the company. Aside from the one, Corder was quick to respond and the contractors very courteous and efficient. Roberta does a great job of taking quick action and follow up. If I have to rent again I will definitely consider properties managed by this company.

They have a list of professional, reliable contractors that can handle any maintenance issue in a timely and affordable fashion. They are reliable, professional, and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT PAY TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! On 6/13/2021 I was hopeful that I could rent a home with this company. Based on the reviews this company sounds legitimate but they are the complete opposite. After I submitted the application I never received email confirmation of my payment. I waited a few days to call because I thought there was a waiting period for application confirmation. This was 4 business days after I submitted the application. When I called I was told since I didn't get approved right away it could take up to 7 business days for a decision. I called back 8 business days after and was then transferred to a voicemail. After several left voicemails and several repeated calls I have yet to receive any decision nor response from this company. It is now 7/16/2021. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND THEY MAKE PROFITS OFF OF PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED AND HOPEFUL IN FINDING HOMES FOR RENT.

Experiencia negativa: My brother has rented a house from Corder and Company for almost two years. The company is lousy when it comes to getting a repairman out to fix anything. Took MONTHS to get a bathroom sink and tub repaired. Now with the cold weather, he has been waiting a month for a call from whoever is supposed to be scheduling an appointment to service his furnace. This company may work for property owners, but they are negligent in their responsibility to maintain properties, do not a care about the tenants. And here we are a year later with the same incompetence! Didn't even start calling to schedule appointments until October 15th. Then whined about how they have more than 200 properties to service. Didn't coordinate with their service company to ensure that correct contact numbers were provided. After my brother called the broker last week was told service would be taken care of Thursday or Friday. Didn't happen. Supposed to be coming today. And it's how cold today?

They are very hands on and proactive with maintenance and lease negotiations. They really look out for their clients. It is important to me that my tenants are happy and my property is maintained. Roberta has done an excellent job making sure this happens!

We lived overseas for 3 years, always had renters, were always able to contact the company, any issues with maintenance were always taken care of in a timely manner. Experiencia positiva: I rented through C&C in December of last year, and had a situation arise where I had to leave the home. The lady I had before kept beating around the bush and not getting anything done to remove my name to allow me to cut ties, or break my financial responsibility to the home I was no longer living in. I'd been fighting since January. I contacted the office to learn there was a new property manager, Roberta. Roberta helped me get everything done in less than a week! She is very professional, and efficient! I would recommend working with her, and would rent with her again!

Experiencia negativa: Sold my house through this company and it has been a nightmare. Agent handling the sell did not act as an advocate or an expert for us. Approach was very wishy washy made decisions that were potentially going to cost us financially. Over 6 months after the sell of our house they to this day have yet to send us the remaining money in our account, despite multiple calls and emails requesting this. Unprofessional service. Sadness me to write this as I thought this company was going to be trustworthy and look out for our best interests.

Experiencia negativa: We rented with Corder and Company and they overcharged us on rent for one month. They would not answer our calls, or return our messages to get our money back. It took over a week to get it back. Then when we moved out, we did a walk through with the property manager and she said the place looked great, there would NOT be any deductions. We provided her with receipts of carpet cleaning. When we got our refund, they took out 150 dollars for cleaning for the next tenant. It was NOT in our lease, nor agreed at the final walk through. Again, tried calling and emailing with no return call or email. It is unprofessional to not return calls/emails. I would not recommend renting with this company.

Experiencia negativa: I sent a email about a property i was interested in. I received a return email about available days. I sent a return email staying which day and time i would like. The day of i called to confirm in the AM about the 5PM viewing time and left a voicemail.I didnt get a call back by 330 so i called again and had to leave another voicemail. Well the renter was still in the house so i wasnt just going to show up, knock on their door and ask to see the house without knowing. So the next day my fiance called and said they wont be showing the house for another 2 weeks or so and she would let us know. Well 2 weeks later i get call that i couldnt answer because i was at work saying the house was rented. Oh, oh really. Hmmm ok. Whatever.

He and his staff (especially Eloisa) took a huge weight off my shoulders when they started managing my property. When I sold my house, Jack recommended an excellent realtor, Pam Jordan, and worked with her to ensure preparation of the house to be sold went smoothly. Experiencia negativa: Relocating from Chicago, we were interested in a couple of townhouses listed for rent by Corder. Setting up showings was confusing. Voicemails left asking about the status of properties went unanswered. After finally deciding on a residence, we were told to apply online, pay an application fee, & wait to receive an approval. We never received a call. The end of the following day we called them, only to find out the unit we applied for had already been rented, and then had us scrambling to find other options, not to mention the wasted application fee.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a small business owner and was referred to Corder and Company by my banker who knew I needed someone GREAT! WOW! Jack Corder- or quite frankly as he has quickly become more like "Uncle Jack" to myself and my school has been a dream. We had a BIG dream, limited resources, and very specific needs and Jack seemed to do the impossible- he found us EXACTLY what we needed!!! For me, the best part of the whole thing though was actually not that even about the building, but how I felt during the whole process. From the very beginning, Jack listened to me and made me feel as though my little school and finding exactly what we needed was his TOP priority. -I'm also quite sure that if he did this for me, he likely treats everyone this way. Truly, I cannot thank "Uncle Jack" enough for his time, connections, wisdom, but mostly his true care and compassion for me and my school. I recommend working with Corder and Company in EVERY WAY. These people are truly professionals and gems for Rio Rancho/ Albuquerque.
