Experiencia negativa: Rented a property through them for a year and any time we needed something fixed we were at the whim of the property owner, while the property manager took no responsibility for things getting done or fixed in a timely manner. When we moved out, the house was cleaner than when we moved in but we were still charged a $500 cleaning fee.( the owner definitely didn’t pay anyone to clean the hose before we moved in though) we were charged on move out for things that were broken before we moved into the house. All in all we were nickel and dimed for $1,400 of our security deposit after my wife worked for weeks to make sure the house was in a better condition on move out day than move in day. When we asked our property manager about it she said that the home owner is allowed to charge whatever they want. At the end of the day this company good or bad, allows their property owners to do things when it’s convenient for them, not the person living in the house and takes no real responsibility over managing the properties. Who this company does business with and how they conduct business reflects extremely poorly on them.

Experiencia negativa: Moved into a property, which had broken glass and needles in the backyard. My property manager ghosted me- turned out he had walked out on the job. Audrey, the CEO, took weeks to finally get back to me. She was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She refuses to have a phone conversation, has not apologized for the weeks without contact, and is making everything as difficult as possible. Avoid at all costs, I'm not surprised the guy walked out if Audrey is his boss.

She took her time and answered all of my questions and was always there to accommodate me when I needed anything. She provided me with all the information I needed to make this an extremely comfortable experience. Ruby was professional and efficient. After I got approved for the property, which by the way was a quick process, I was introduced to Massiel, the property manager who also provide a great experience for me. She was also friendly, easy to talk to and made my experience a great one. Experiencia negativa: Would-be prospective tenant: Been calling for 4 weeks about rentals with no response. Audrey puts her information on all the listings but she never picks up the phone, never responds to emails, and her voicemail makes sure to let you know she doesn't show properties, she only manages them. So who do I call? Nobody I've contacted from this company picks up the phone or responds to voicemails. Looking at reviews here it's clear that they're just as easy for tenants to get in touch with. Looking forward to renting from someone else.

Experiencia negativa: Update: 16 days NO AC!!! In the middle of a heat wave. The guy has said twice he’d be here in the morning and he hasn’t come till late!!!!!!!!!!! This is insanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay far away as possible, We are current tenants and it takes days to get a response for repairs. We have sprinkler inspections, but we are never notified of them and they entered the home while I was going through chemo treatments without any notification whatsoever, which was a risk for my health. Extremely hot conditions make me have reactions to my medication’s, and our AC went out last year and has recently gone out again and it’s been four days and one has come out to fix it. Not only that are fridge is so old that it’s yellow and continues to leak and break down and they send someone out just to change the filter which is only a quick fix as well as the dishwasher that someone has come out to try and fix that as well, and it’s broken again because it’s old and they refused to replace it. We have given our 60 day notice and now they are telling us that we cannot vacate until August when it is 86° in inside of home and no one is coming to fix it. We have been living uninhabitable conditions, and no one seems to care. It wasn’t until I gave 60 day notice that I finally got a prompt response. It’s funny how that works. They lack communication. They also lack professionalism and they are a joke for a property management company because there is no property management going on clearly. My husband and I work full-time and they gave us less than a two weeks notice for a fire inspection mid day Stating that there would be a $500 fine if we weren’t there. Like I said unprofessional Zero communication and I have all of the documentation all of the screenshots and all of the emails to back this up.

Living out of state I had no clue who I could trust to handle the sale of my property in Delaware. I was given her name along with a few others and from the moment I spoke to her I felt comfortable and trusted her so she was my choice. Her attention to detail is amazing. If you have any questions during your process she will get the answers for you. She is an amazing asset to your Realty Group and if anyone in Delaware is looking for a realtor she is who I will be recommending. I had a phenomenal experience from start to finish. She was always readily available to speak to me about anything and worked hard to get me what I was looking for.

You call ignoring an applicant for a rental not once, not twice , not three times but FOUR times "first class"? I never leave Google reviews, but I am so disappointed and honestly appalled at this companies inability to communicate professionally that I felt the need to warn others. I went on a tour of a Rental property that this agency represents , with my 21 year old daughter and her girlfriend. This is their first time searching for an apartment and were alittle nervous and asked me to come for moral support. I gladly obliged. We toured 4 different apartments in Dover in the same day. After the 4th one I wrote the agent that gave us the tour, that we liked theirs the most and we wanted to go ahead and apply. She encouraged us to get 2 months worth of paystubs and pictures of licenses in ASAP because they had a lot of interest in this apartment. Because the girls really loved this apartment , they jumped right on it and had everything to her by the next morning. I will say that the agent was a lovely lady and her daughter , who she brought along on the tour with her, was a sweet girl as well. However this is where the "1st class service" stopped. Over the course of a week my daughter and I reached out to both the agent and Kim , who was the person who was supposed to be following up to get the $100 application fee and run credit reports etc. We were told by Kim that she never received the application from the agent and asked us to resend everything directly to her. We did that immediately. Four more days go by and we still have not heard a thing, so I called Kim directly myself. I asked if the girls were not being considered for the apartment for any reason, would we be notified so we could resume our search for another place? She said Yes. It is now almost two weeks since we toured with the agent and we are still yet to hear anything. Unacceptable!!! If I were the home owner who was paying this agency to be Property Managers and find a tenant, I would be very upset if I knew they had perfect tenants with good credit scores who were ready to rent the apartment. Talk about wasting your money! Be for warned if you are Home owner not to put your trust in these people. They do not have your best interest in mind. Owner/President did reach out via text on 9/5 and asked me to retract this review. I am being told that they were asked by the property owner to hold on renting out the apartment. That may be true, but it was not communicated to us in any of our numerous texts and calls to the agent and Kim. Had we been told this initially , it would have stopped this review from happenning in the first place. Therefor, I will not retract this review because the service level was very poor and everything written above is the truth and accurate. I did ,however, remove the part about feeling discriminated against.

She called me and kept the lines of communication open, and let me know what was going on, and what to expect throughout the process. Michael and his team did an excellent job with the repairs. They were efficient, professional, and friendly! I was impressed with the service received! Thank you Marcella for your prompt attention and valuing my circumstances, listening, and acting!

I am Happy to say that now that Marcella Russell, has became the new Property manager she is doing an Excellent Job. Marcella makes sure she goes the extra mile to get things done. We really appreciate, and are thankful for the new Management. Thank you Marcella!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My property manager Massaial has been very good to us And very helpful with communication and that's my biggest pet peeve she's quick with the response which is rare in a good landlord she follows up with us with appointments and vendors and does check in to make sure they showed up I've been at places where I had to beg for something to be fixed with her it's literally 24-48 hrs we get someone at our door let's just say shes a landlord that would be invited to the housewarming

We know she has a never ending amount of work, yet she handles the pressure exceedingly well. Besides being very knowledgeable in property management, Massiel is considerate, understanding, and fair. Frankly, she is the reason we are still with First Class, and we are so grateful for all her continued help.

Experiencia positiva: In the beginning it was rocky… very rocky. Later found out that it was due to a software change causing unforeseen issues. That would have been nice to know while I was contacting them over and over again because of issues. Since they got past the software change it’s been smooth sailing. No issues at all and they are on top of things. I have to give them credit because even though I let them manage the properties, I am involved enough that I want to know everything that is going on - repairs, late issues, scheduled maintenance, etc. they keep me updated with everything! Overall, I would recommend them and I would use them on any future properties….

Experiencia negativa: I'm looking to rent a property they have listed, but no one has responded to my calls or emails, and the first time I called was about a week and a half ago. That's a very disheartening length of time to wait before responding to anyone, business-related or not.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible!!! they lie. Apartment was trashed, broken door knob.. made excuses related to prior tenant.. could not move in prior tenant left most of furniture, and apartment never cleaned. Would give--10 stars ... very poorly managed and unprofessional.

Experiencia fantástica: Other people saying renting here is bad, I wouldn't know because I bought a house through them and it was nothing but professional and timely. The wife and I moved from Germany a year ago and she was quite pregnant at the time. We closed on a house in two months with no real issues.

Experiencia negativa: Worst renting experience ever!! They say on their banner out front that they are military friendly, but that is far from the truth. We moved in the beginning of summer and shortly after the AC went out we had to argue with them to even send anyone out to look at it and they didn't want to pay for it saying they have to get the landlord's approval all while we were suffering from the heat inside the house and with 5 children, my kids couldn't even sleep well at night. It took almost 2 months of going back and forth for them to finally get it fixed and only because my husband figured out the problem because the company they were using didn't want to fix the issue with the AC saying it costs a lot and they've told Weichert that they would have to replace the system the previous year! During this whole time we felt that they were purposefully ignoring our calls and emails so they wouldn't have to deal with us. Just the worst people ever to deal with, to the point where we fixed any of the issues afterwards ourselves just so we wouldn't have to deal with them. And we had tons of problems, with the plumbing, electrical, and so much more. Would never recommend them to anyone ever! We are so glad that we are no longer leasing with them, we got out as soon as our lease was up!

Experiencia fantástica: I’m a local investor. I have used their services to purchase, sell, and manage my rentals. I have also referred them to friends and family who wanted to purchase or sell homes in the Dover/Camden Area. I have used other realtors and property manages. Audrey and her team are the best in the area.

Experiencia negativa: I rented from them, worst mistake ever! While living in the slumlord house they masked to look like a cozy home, it was like pulling teeth to get them to fix anything. At 1 point the front and back door were stuck shut. After 3 months of requesting someone to come fix them, I had to send them the DE code stating the house could be condemned as a fire hazard... Finally someone came! I got orders to deploy right at the end of my lease. Cleaned the house nicely and turned in my keys at their office... Did I mention that they lost their keys to the house and then accused me of changing the locks? Anyway, while on my flight overseas they email me telling me that if I don't turn in the keys they are going to charge me for each day, up to a month. I couldn't get a reply when I got the chance to email them back so I had to send my leadership over there! Now, still deployed, I'm trying to find out how much of my security deposit will be returned to me and the breakdown of fees they're charging. I can't get an answer and on the 31st it'll be a month since I moved out... I'm buying a house when I return from my deployment. I will never do business with them again. When I reported them to the BBB about the doors being broke the manager, Audry Brodie LIED to the BBB, telling them I had moved out months ago and left the house damaged (I still lived there when she was telling them this) and she wasn't sure why I was contacting them. This place has zero ethics and they will squeeze you for every penny they can all while shafting you.

Experiencia negativa: Speaking to the property management portion of this business; the ineptitude is strong with this one. If you are looking to rent out your place, especially if you live out of state, look elsewhere. They agreed to do a walk through quarterly...didn't happen. We had to contact them when rent was not received within 15 days, multiple times. There were a few occassions when the tenant had informed the property manager rent was going to be late but this company never informed us until we called. They would also not allow us a copy of the lease, which we found curious. I could go on and on, but I've wasted enough energy, time and money with this horrible company.
