From our very first meeting, she was professional, enthusiastic, and dedicated to making the process of selling and buying a home as smooth as possible. I've heard several people refer to her as the "Queen of the Open House," and I was so afraid that we would be the ones to end her streak of success, but I should never have doubted. She worked so hard -- giving us tips on how to prepare the house, bringing in people to help with the problem areas, coming over to stage every room herself, fielding our never-ending questions at any hour of the day or night, even sending us food on a night that we ended up really needing it. Sometimes, I wasn't sure if she was my agent, my friend, or my mom! That's how much she cares about her clients. And all of the hard work absolutely paid off! Our house was on the market for only a matter of days, with multiple offers received from the open house, selling for $20,000 more than what we asked for. I know that would not have been the case if we had gone with any other agent. Several other homes in my same neighborhood were on the market for weeks before ours, and continued to sit on the market for weeks (and in some cases, months) after ours was closed. And using Cindy as our buying agent was wonderful, as well. We were looking for a very specific kind of home, and she always made herself available to walk through house after house, patiently listening to what we wanted/liked/hated, rather than trying to push us in any given direction. It was as if we were her only clients, though I know we were not. And when we ultimately found the home we wanted, she was there through the entire offer process, inspections, negotiations (and there were a lot of negotiations on both the buying and selling ends) -- and she was able to get it all done within a very tricky and specific time frame. I just cannot say enough good things about Cindy Yeates. Even now, more than a year after our closing, she still keeps in contact, asks how we're doing, sends sweet messages, and continues to be a friend.
