Experiencia negativa: Renters beware. We run a house for roughly 6 months, not even before We got sent to deployment and terminated our lease. The house was barely lived in besides one bedroom when we left we cleaned it from top to bottom because they told us that we were responsible of so. When we get the security deposit back, there’s 500 missing out of it and somehow I understand was to change the locks and that was fine but they claim that 350 was a cleaning fee I said For what because when the person came to walk the property before we handed the keys, she said it looked really clean, but the lady claims that there was some stickiness in the fridge so that warranted a 350 cleaning fee. I wish I would’ve pushed more to get More of my deposit back, but I was already over overseas and it would’ve been a pain. I would not rent from them again.

Experiencia positiva: I would like to start off with, I’ve rented with them before and it was great they took inspections seriously for the owners and is the reason why I went with them when I wanted to rent out my own house. In an owner side point, they were informative and typically responded quick! Now what I can say is when a tenant leaves ur home, don’t relay on them getting vendors to clean and or do your yard they have alot of trouble succeeding that , and well over a month after! And was lied too twice that the cleaners went and my house was still disgusting! So do your self a favor and just prepare to put money to the side and have the house cleaned yourself! I would love to use them in the future for other rental properties but only if they get their vendors in order or new vendors. Managment is very nice!

Experiencia negativa: Do not I repeat do not rent from them my friend had a rat problem they did not fix it ceiling leaking by the light bulb and a stove that won’t even cut on top and bottom and they know about it but they had the nerve to send her a email to not call the property office about maintenance or things that need to be fixed or replaced. If she can’t call and they don’t answer the email or come out to her place how will anything get fixed? And the lady that answers the phone is so rude. I’m not biting my tongue this place is horrible when it comes to living conditions for people that look forward to having a roof over their head. Everyone needs to be fired. If I knew my friend had to live like this i would have just let her stay with me in my house I own.but hey you reap what you sow God see everything.

THEY DON'T HOUND ME OR SHOW UP UNANNOUNCED. IF I HAVE AN ISSUE I PUT IN MY SERVICE REQUEST AND IT'S HANDLED. I EVEN HAD AN ISSUE WHERE I HAD TO PAY MY RENT LATE (ONLY ONCE) THEY WORKED WITH ME. SO AS I SAID I CAN ONLY SPEAK ON MY EXPERIENCE.*****The fact a pipe bust In my bathroom 11pm at night on a Saturday and flooded my bathroom and the new carpet they laid and called the after hours line six times before I got to talk to someone and enen then I was told to find a nozzle outside and turn it well the nozzle so rusted it wouldn't turn. Then I was told well I don't have control over the vendor but yet my house is flooding. I don't have money to call a plumber myself because I paid my rent. Not to mention I was woken up out of my sleep dealing with this. I have never in my life seen such. I'm completely disappointed. As of this post my bathroom has been flooding for 2 hours. I don't have anything more clothes or blankets to put down to stop the flooding but oh well I tried. I did my part. I do have videos and pictures. Now I see why renter's insurance is so important because you gotta be able to protect yourself because nobody else will.

Experiencia negativa: When you walk into the building, you are not greeted by no one that is friendly. The building smells like sewer water. & They are money hungry. Everyone in the building stares at you like they are on cloud 10. If you need an place to stay, I would highly advise anybody to not go through them. They act like they understand your situation, but in reality they really don't care. They just want the money & that's it. So please once again, if you need a place to stay, I would highly suggest you not go there to them ever!

Experiencia negativa: Dont rent from them! My family & i have been renting a mobile home for 3 years. They never want to help fix anything & they are all about money. They want to charge is 3 grand to move out of a trailer thats infested with rats & roaches. They always find an excuse to not help. Do not rent from them!!!

My son was sick with covid and I couldn’t work or get paid until my job Processed my paperwork I tried to explain that to them and tell them that’s why I was late on my rent they said it’s not their problem that my child was sick . They don’t care about you or your family . Go somewhere else and don’t waste your time

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional. Doesn't know how to fix black mold. Not in control of vendors. Doesn't know how to keep a bug company in compliance with spraying inside and outside. They say they spray outside the other month but never did. Told me I have to fix something to come out of pocket when it's not fault. Quickly to take your money but we'll make you wait 3 month to attempt to think about fixing your issue. Been there years missed 2 payments. Be ware most of these trailers has black mold and hidden damage please get a second opinion before moving in don't do it if your desperate.

Experiencia negativa: They had staying in a hose that wasn't up for code and wasn't even supposed to be renting to me because it was in unlivable conditions and now they giving me the run around on my deposit they charge a double deposit for there properties and are completely unprofessional I'm gotta take them to court

Experiencia negativa: They rather take your money and take the word of other rental agencies over actual facts. My previous landlord, after paying 13 months of on time rent decided to lie on my name saying I'm not trying to move and I'm preventing them from renting the house out. So instead of VHS inquiring about my actual rental history they decided to take their word for it and denied me renting a place from them. The only reason I was moving is cuz my fiancé was ill and in the hospital. I needed to move as I lost income. But VHS was like no way. They didn't even care that I paid my rent on time with no issues or damages to my previous home. I don't recommend them period.

Experiencia fantástica: VHS served as my property manager for multiple years and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. Melody managed my property flawlessly. She was always in communication with me whenever there was a maintenance issue with the property and provided me with a list of contractors to get the issues fixed. She frequently inspected the property to ensure the wear and tear was normal and if there was an issue caused by a tenant she held them accountable. If you need a property management team select VHS and you will not be disappointed.

We recently decided to sell the home, and Meoldy served as our realtor for the sale. The process was smooth from listing the property to closing. Overall, a good experience for both property management and realty.

Experiencia negativa: Spoke to representative on Thursday and Friday about rental property was informed that all I had to do was check out key and go to have a look. On Monday, was told by same rep(she said it isn’t her) someone has rented property no explanation, no nothing. BTW, I have gone by property over the weekend, no one is there. So either the property was already gone, and the tenants are waiting, or it is still available. Either way a waste of time, and extremely unprofessional…

DO NOT TRUST THEM , they will take your money and show you places that have already been rented. Grateful I did not give them any money past the application fee. Will not be using them EVER.

Experiencia negativa: Day 2 of standing water in our house. Our house is full of mold. Literally, it’s in the walls EVERYWHERE. We had a flood, worse than it’s ever flooded, keep in mind our house floods at least twice a month and no one has fixed anything, ruined all of our stuff, we called, they sent someone out who looked like he wasn’t even licensed he stayed maybe a minute to say it was the cities issue (like they do everytime) and the city comes out and “cleans” the pipes for it to flood 5 minutes after they leave again, took 6 hours for someone to “clean our carpets” but they still have so much water in them over 24 hours later. No one brought us fans, no one brought a dehumidifier, no one has even offered to help clean up, or resolve the situation. We purchased our OWN fans out of our OWN pocket, to try and save THEIR property. The floors are swelling, and there’s literally no saving these walls. The mold in this house is growing so thick, my husband, 12 year old, and I, have literally been sick for months. We’ve told them about the little bit we caught a few months ago, was told they would “clean it up” they never did. Now with this flood, I can only imagine the amount that’s about to grow in this hell hole. Not to mention, the TON growing in the walls. I expected a lot more from this company, and I’m upset that this rental agency, has yet to do anything their lease states they will do, has yet to apologize, expects to keep our security deposit and I’m sure will blame us for all of the water damage their own failed plumbing system has made, and apparently to our neighbors... this house should’ve been burnt down, or fixed the right way as it is A NIGHTMARE and Victor decided to cheap the way out and plaster it up and move us in before actually fixing the house. I’m highly disappointed. This whole company feels like a scam, and a waste of our own money. Definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Maybe if they would’ve taken more steps to help resolve these continuous issues I would’ve. But their customer service and response time is poor. Integrity is poor. Their values are poor.

Experiencia negativa: I paid a whole year upfront, dbl pet deposit because we eventually would like to get dogs. And dbl security deposit. (Over 13k i gave them upfront when i moved in.) My lease renewal was for july 1st. Come june theyre telling me i owe rent and was just told VIA text message that im being evicted and wont get my dbl security deposit back. Shady.

At first I wasn't too happy due to more negative reviews on property management companies around here but since they took over all the way to my move out date they were amazing! Valerie and the other girls were all so happy and professional. Stanley came out to do the initial assessment and again very professional and so nice. The walk through went great, no issue with getting my full deposit back. The whole time, if I had questions or concerns they were there. This is the ONLY rental company I will recommend in this area! The only reason we moved is because we purchased a home. When we PCS I will most likely rent my new home out and use them as the management company! Thank you VHS for you amazing customer service! Experiencia negativa: Vhs is the worst place to rent from . They never come fix things when needed . Then they try to hold your whole security deposit . They also have the worst customer services! I hope no one ever go through what I did . But the courts will be involved!!! If I could give a -0 I really would . They just so backwards, valarie sleeping with shanks . The property managers and office customer service representatives are very professional, inviting, and caring staff. I looked forward to visiting the office at any time for any reason. Any property concerns I had was handled promptly by professional, courteous contractors. The work was completed in a timely matter. I have moved to Texas, but miss the owners and the staff and look forward to visiting them when I am in the area.

I came to them with bad credit and they were still willing to accept me as their tenant an to also put me in a great home. They have great up kept properties. Not once have I entered the office and their very friendly and greet me with a warm welcome. They are understanding and very supportive individuals. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for spacious homes and a business that if anything is wrong they go the extra mile in fixing the problem . To definitely come to vhs realty. Experiencia negativa: FUTURE RENTERS BEWARE Well I thought good people worked there, well, whoever handles the return of the security deposit is a crook. My roommate and I SCRUBBED our place before we moved out. So clean infact, that the inspector said, "it's so clean I'm putting it back on the market today." which he did. When I get the security deposit back, we were charged $130 for cleaning, and $70 for a door that was broken when we moved in, and noted on the move in inspection. If you rent from them, expect to have your security deposit slashed!
