Experiencia negativa: Went from one bad landlord to the next. They don’t fix things in a timely manner. Basement is hazardous to my health

He was very communicative, pushed for us in negotiations, would answer any questions we had, and was very professional. He made it clear that he wasn’t just trying to close on any house we brought up. He would make sure the property we looked at would be a long term investment and be a non problematic purchase down the road. Felt we were in great hands every step of the process

Experiencia negativa: No one ever answered the phone and there’s never a prompt. You can use to leave a voicemail. God forbid you have a service call or an emergency. There’s no one to help.

Experiencia negativa: Having been in the community for a long time, I have continually seen the impact of this company. Instead of attempting to help those who have a bad experience, they argue, belittle, and focus on the person rather than a problem. With having bad reviews, you will see instead of trying to help, they are saving face. That is not good business practice.

Experiencia negativa: Our furnace has been broken and we have been without heat for THREE days in 20° weather. I’ve called the emergency line multiple times, and all I get is “the HVAC people will reach out to you” and then don’t hear anything from anyone. They came out once, told us they needed a part, and then disappeared, and neither me nor my roommate have heard from them since. Not to mention them telling my roommate they called and talked to me when they did not. It’s been nonstop issues with this apartment, and getting anything done is a hassle - this management team has a massive problem with communication and urgency when it comes to nearly freezing or flooding their tenants. I’ve rented numerous apartments from numerous property managements, and I’ve NEVER had this bad of an issue trying to get things fixed that are urgently need it. This is insanely ridiculous. In response to your response - You only communicated with us after calling several times, and even then, after telling us “they’d get ahold of you” they never did, then they reached out to my roommate and told him that they had talked to me, which they didn’t. Then after coming out, and saying they needed approval to replace a part at 12pm yesterday, didn’t hear from them, or management for the rest of the day. The only time there was communication was when we pressed for it, and communication has been an issue with most of the maintenance we’ve had to request since moving in. Also, it doesn’t matter what the weather is, we have a right to working heat as paying tenants. It’s also funny how someone willingly reached out with an update and offered an airbnb only after leaving a review and calling multiple times. Anyway, after seeing your responses to other negative reviews, everything makes sense now. But continue making excuses for yourself. Have a good day, Cheryl. Stay warm.

Experiencia negativa: I wouldn’t even give a one star rating, but had to so this would post. We employed CC Realty for property management services for just under one year. The entire experience was horrible. Cheryl was very unwilling to cooperate. Had to request item’s multiple times i.e. a comprehensive monthly report…even our accountant said the monthly reports were unnecessarily confusing. They pay out the rents in arrears. She doesn’t pay attention to detail and caused us undue grief. She also lied to us regarding a window installation job and totally threw the installer under the bus. She accepted periodic rent payments during the month instead of in forcing the lease agreement for rent paid in full on the first of each month, without informing us. They took 11% commission where most take 10%. Stay clear of the company. So glad we’re done with Cheryl.

Experiencia positiva: I used CC Realty for my property management in Akron. They overall did a good job, but they were not responsive at all if I ever had to contact them... i had to follow up multiple times to get a response. The tenant also did not clean the place when they left, so i was disappointed that CC Realty did not charge the tenant a cleaning fee. My mom spent the entire 2 days cleaning the unit.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been renting from cc reality for little over a year now and I have to say they have made my first time being a renter on my own a easy process, mostly due to the fact Ashley goes above and beyond to make sure all my issues are taken care of . Covid has impacted certain repairs they are still upfront and continue to keep me in the loop . Gwen ans Cheryl also go above ans beyond to help out with the maintenance side. I would recommend them to anyone

I am also one that was taken for the application fee be aware many companies and people are taking money this is a scam. Unfortunate because this gives me a bad taste about how ohio does business. I have a clean rental history among the other things i clearly fall under the requirements. However have had multiple people not even intending to rent to me. One person admitted that still taking applications and has not looked at mine.

I lived in a home for almost 7 yrs payed my landlord over $46.000 sadly instead of him realizing that and offering a rent to buy since he never had to evict me. He sold the house to cc realty. They put me in the worst position in life. Lied lied lied. Please if you make the mistake and getting involved with them, get everything in writing even the smallest things they say. I was given several leases because they couldn’t make a proper rental agreement my last lease sent via email mention they aren’t responsible for any deaths while they contractors do any repairs multiple times. The contractors while working complained about the company and about getting paid. They also smoked marijuana while they worked. I took photos and vids of everything I could including the roofers sent to install roof due to court orders. Drank as they did their job and had their dealers pulling up to my home. They eventually got into an argument with one another and threatened to throw each other’s items away. I had to record it due to the lack of respect. I had to constantly complain on Cheryl Myatt about her services. To the company it was a joke as the man came to my home on a holiday to see the repairs needed after going to court two months prior due to no repairs made. He mentioned that Cheryl was an headache inside the company I found it odd that they all spoke about each other in such ways. He told me I would no longer have to deal with her no more since she was causing so many problems. However she is who showed up to defend the company in court, followed by another man I’ve never met claiming to be another company. That was also a problem by time I went to court I had several unsigned improperly written leases from multiple management company names. They also tried to claim damages that were ware and tare over six and half year period which is why repairs where mandatory. After the repairs I forgot to mention that July 4th when he came to see what repairs where needed he agreed no payments made until repairs are finished. (I did not get that in writing). They rushed all the outside repairs I took pics and vids of entire process. When they finished he sent me and email of the lease as I mentioned before it had they would not be responsible for any deaths due to any further repairs made. I was a little confused on how that made sense and asked when he pick up the rent that day if he could explain? He said if the lease wasn’t signed by time he got there I would be evicted. I had lived in the home almost seven years and had already been on the market for a new rental due to the previous issues and concerns of the company’s treatment. But unfortunately couldn’t find a home to relocate. Even tho the judge tried to give more than the 7days since they didn’t want to make any arrangements or accept payments or even admit to their prior verbal agreements. I was put into a homeless situation by a company who just bought my home of 7yrs. Cheryl Myatt smiled the entire time they moved my items. Pure evil.

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional. My husband and I applied for a property over a week and a half ago. After calling 3 times, leaving 2 voicemails with promises of a return call, I call again just to find out the property was rented to someone else. The application fee is $65 for 2 people which is a bit much considering it's not refundable and you have to do all of the follow up work after you've paid them. The receptionist were very short and provided little to no information about statuses.

Experiencia fantástica: I just read through all the good and bad reviews, and I find the bad reviews funny! I was a property manager for ten years, and we rent homes. So I've been on both sides of the fence! What people fail to realize is the property management company can only get the approval of the owner to fix the problems or issues with the house. Simple problems should be done by the tenants. Like changing the air filters in the basement every three months or checking for working batteries in the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. People seem to call and complain when the situation is at it's worse instead of when it starts! I personally think Cheryl and her employees are wonderful people to work with and they are upfront and direct with you. Remember everyone, they are the middle men, meaning they can't authorize anything unless the owners do! Communication is the best key to a healthy relationship!

I’m putting in a law suit on this realty agency and warning everyone to stay away from these people especially Cheryl all she does is dodge calls when it comes to them owing people.

Experiencia negativa: Do NOT use this realtor company. The front door wasn't able to lock from the time we moved in. 6 months later and it's still not fixed. To top it off the electric doesn't work now due to faulty wiring and they refuse to fix it. We've been 2 weeks without electricity and have a mentally disabled daughter who eats through a feeding tube that will not run unless plugged into electricity. Cheryl Myatt is well aware of this and still refuses to do anything. She won't even return my phone calls at this point and is trying to turn to landlord retaliation.

Experiencia negativa: Worst company ever! Never rent a house from them unless you plan on kissing your deposit goodbye. They will charge you literally for the ground shifting. They will charge you for things that were documented as being wrong when you moved in. They will charge you for things that you called to try to get repaired once a week for a entire year. They will charge you for the basement being damp as if you could have caused that yourself and within a year time no less. This company is a JOKE

I have before and after pictures to prove everything also and they just told me I’m not getting my security deposit back. Contacting my attorney on this one I don’t care if it was only $675 these people need to quit ripping people off. Proving a point.

Experiencia negativa: Don't plan on getting any of your security deposit back regardless of how nice you leave the property. They will make charges up just to keep it. The only thing you can do is take them to court to get it back.
