Fantastic experience: I'm not sure exactly how my wife and I met Chelsea, but I'm just glad she came into our lives. At first, we had a few meetings and a consultation about what type of home we would be looking for, which area, things to live with and things to live without. We saw a few homes that we were interested in and a few model homes in Chula Vista. When it came time to getting on the list, we realized that it wasn't the right time since a personal matter came up... My mom was getting taken away from my family by God and he needed her up there sooner than I thought. Never thought she was going to be out of our lives at my age but my mom's cancer progressed and my mom was reaching her living life's end. My mom's final wish was to sell her house that she truly worked her butt off for while being a single mom to her two boys. She put her blood, sweat, and tears into that place. This was one of the only things that she would leave us with to split between me and my brother. God I miss her and our home home. It never was the same after God took her in. We began fulfilling her wishes after my mom's ceremony, had a large garage sale, selling mostly everything that wasn't pertinent to the home. We finally contact Chelsea at Team Manzon, and she came up the next day (drive from San Diego to Moreno Valley) to speak with us and take pictures of the home with their professional real estate photographer. I remember her saying that "she could feel my mom's calm presence and good vibe in the home." That hit home pretty hard but was thankful she said that. With their advertising and hard work, we received multiple offers within a few days. We went with multiple family buyer which lead to multiple back and forth issues that arose over a month or so and it seemed like it was going nowhere. Chelsea and her team were being as competitive and diligent as possible while working with the other realtor and the buyers. My wife, brother and I finally agreed to cancel the terms since the buyers were so sketchy. We posted our home home up for sale once again and to our surprise one of the previous offers still wanted to buy our home. Prior to my mom passing, I left work on a leave of absence from taking care of coronavirus patients (as a nurse), to quarantining for 2 weeks, to taking care of my mom who went from walking on her own and over two months, needing hospice care since her treatments were too severe. I spent those two months taking care of my mom and remembering one of my last experiences with my mom. We were in the backyard, it was calm and peaceful. My mom in her wheelchair with just my brother and me. We set up breakfast and realized it being an amazing moment.. The reason the buyers wanted to buy our home was because it would be a daughter and her mother in that home. The daughter loved my moms backyard so much as she felt the peace that it came with. She explained to us that she wants to sit in our backyard with her elderly mom and watch the gorgeous sunsets that the city presents us with. We sold my mom's dream to them and the rest was history. Chelsea and Team Manzon did an amazing job in the process of helping us sell my mom's home, her last wish. I'm so thankful that we linked with Chelsea. My wife and I, when ready, will be working with Chelsea and Team Manzon again in the future when it comes time to buy our forever home home and to relive those memories cherished from my previous home.
