Negative experience: Very unprofessional. They charge $75 for an application fee and do not even call or email with a decision. Lynn was the “realtor” . Literally had to call 4 days straight just for them to say denied due to no rental history but had a 700 credit score. It’s feeling like discrimination at this point.

Fantastic experience: Additional information!!! Debi put my old townhousec on the market and within 24 hours, I have 2 amazing offers!!! I am so thankful for her guidance and support through this process. She has made it a joy! There are just not enough wonderful words to say about my realtor, Debi Warren. She helped me find my dream home and close the sale within one month! Debi walked me through every step smoothly. She is professional, organized, resourceful and a true advocate. After years in real estate, she has endless contacts and resources to draw from. Fantastic experience: Lynne Sheppard won! She was my realtor (agent). She walked me through the process- step by step. She is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and hard working. She goes above, and beyond with her service. She helped me to owned my first home in America (as a Jamaican immigrant). She made sure I got the one I really loved, and needed. I am so happy my employer recommended LIZ Moore's company, and connected me to Lynne. I am now enjoying the comfort of my 3 bed, 2.5 bath Townhouse. The process went through so smoothly, and quickly. Lynne was very supportive, with a very timely response to any questions/concerns I might have had. I highly recommend LYNNE SHEPPHARD as your agent, when buying/selling, or for any other real estate concerns.

Negative experience: I wished I seen these reviews before we moved into one of their properties. After 2 years of paying rent on time they had the nerve to charge us for normal wear and tear that is the responsibility of owners. Things such as paint touch up and a few scratches on the floor, mind you there were no actual damage to the floor and the paint job was so that owners could prep the house for sale. Also as many have said they lack professionalism and communication. I would never recommend these people not even my worst enemy. They just care about taking your money.☹️

Negative experience: I never thought I would say that. After years of being a committed renting client, I knew it was time to find a different agency for my next move. And I was 100% right. If you're looking for a client-oriented service, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. They do not care

Fantastic experience: Joanna Sibley is hands down incredible. No words would do her justice but I will try. She worked with my father (who is a lawyer and VERY picky) years ago. He was very impressed and still to this day has nothing but kind words for her. Well he recommended Joanna to me and my husband who needed a family style home. She found just that for us! Fantastic experience: When I wanted to purchase a home in York County, I thought it was going to be all most impossible, since I live in Kentucky. Fantastic experience: When we decided to move from Florida to Virginia, we did some research and found Cheri Nice who was highly recommended. We were not, by any means, easy clients. We were not sure of exactly where we wanted to be just a general area. Cheri not only found us listings that met all of our criteria, she was able to provide us information of the various areas we were looking at so we would have a better idea of neighborhoods, etc. She did a LOT of virtual tours with us. When we found a FSBO, she reached out to the Seller and somehow, got our offer accepted. The transaction went very smoothly until we were victims of wire fraud and our funds for closing went missing as we were in the actual process of moving from Florida to Virginia. Cheri made sure that she kept the Seller informed, and arranged so that we could still move into the house while resolving the funds issue. After 30 days, we got our funds back and finally closed on the home. Cheri has been following up and touching base with us ever since. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I were lucky enough to work Kitty Holzbach when we first moved to the area in 2013. A three year tour to Hawaii took us away from Hampton Roads, and 2020 brought us right back. As we started our home search the one and only agent that came to mind was Kitty. She exceeded all of our expectations in 2013 and did so again earlier this year as well. Buying sight unseen, we relied heavily on Kitty's wealth of experience to steer us in the right direction. She visited multiple homes on our behalf, FaceTiming and providing photos every step of the way. Keep in mind this was all while Covid was wrecking havoc on all of us! In the end we ended up with our dream home, all thanks to Kitty. I'll also add that she has an answer for every homeowner problem. Need a home loan, she connected us with the best in the area. Need a handy man, she's got a guy. Need a home inspection, fence installer, painter....you get the idea, all of her contacts are top notch! Bottom line, if we ever need to purchase a home in the Hampton Roads area again, we will be working with Kitty and the rest of the Liz Moore & Associates team!

Fantastic experience: We recently sold our house thru Liz Moore & Associates. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish. Our agent, Kitty Holzbach, was the best. She walked us through the process of selling our home, explained everything to us in detail, answered all of our questions, and ensured that all went smoothly from start to finish. The Liz Moore office is centrally located. The office staff was friendly and helpful. Having the realty, title, and attorney offices in the same building is a plus. We highly recommend both Kitty and Liz Moore & Associates and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Fantastic experience: It was great working with Liz Moore. Kitty Holzbach went above and beyond finding us the perfect place. Fantastic experience: Teresa and Sully exceeded our expectations! Teresa gave us incisive information and direction for showcasing our house that resulted in attracting a buyer who appreciated the love and care we invested over the 23 years we owned the house. Our house sold the first day to the first viewer and we signed acceptance contract before Liz Moore sign was installed. She gave us advice for showcasing our house. Teresa's professional photographic skills along with artful depiction of the love and care invested in our home matched up the perfect buyer.

Negative experience: Horrible communication with Brett. I inquired about a property that’s in a neighborhood I use to live in to see if it was still available so that my Friend could apply. I asked general questions regarding the credit qualification and was told they were firm that it needed to be no less than 600. My friend applied and put a co-signer considering he was a few points from 600. When his co-signer contacted Brett for a few questions he kept asking about me and if I was applying (which I wasn’t because I had nothing to do with moving) I simply just called to ask questions. He ran my friends application and said he didn’t qualify due to the credit but never ran the co-signers application which DEFEATED the whole purpose of the application and having a co-signer. Then stated that because the co-signer lives in Florida she wouldn’t qualify. Anyways it seems to me that Brett was trying to create a scenario that didn’t exist and could have been more up front and stated those “so called facts” from the get go instead of wasting someone’s time and pulling a hard credit check on their credit.

Negative experience: Was told I was accepted for the townhouse at 855am then by 902am got another text back saying the 1st text msg was an error and I was denied. Lynn kirk assured me the place was mine and said shes emailing me the lease to sign Virginia payne was the one who sent the acceptance and denial text msgs all while Lynn happened to be on vacation. Very unprofessional and rude would not recommend.

Negative experience: Don’t return phone calls to applicants. They’ll give you hope and then won’t call you back when they say they will. Very disappointing when you pay an application fee, get a tour, given hope, told that you would hear back, then don’t, even when trying to reach out. I finally got a call days later saying they decided to “go in a different direction” without much else explanation. I was also told I’d receive the information of a different property manager to look into other properties that aren’t on the market yet and I never received that information. I will not be recommending Liz Moore & Associates.

Negative experience: I DO NOT recommend this company to any fellow service member. They will make your life hell if you try to terminate your lease early due to deployment or PCS orders. Once I informed them of my lease termination they demanded I have my house presentable at all times in the case that they wanted to show it to a new possible tenant. If you do make the mistake of moving in to one of their properties make sure that you take pictures of EVERYTHING to look at later when you move out. And make your own checklist of the things that are messed up because they won’t give you one and will go off of pictures they took. (Which exclude things that are wrong with the house to their convenience) And DO NOT expect to receive your deposit back at the time of move out. They will charge you for every little thing and expect the house to look like no one ever lived there. I lived in California before this, in a way newer apartment, and as expensive as it is to live over there; even they didn’t take my entire security deposit. I must’ve trashed the place for them to pocket $1250 and STILL charge me $400 more.

Negative experience: Me and my boyfriend wanted to Purchase land we decided to do a contract to give us 30 days to save the land put in money deposit down on it .My boyfriend was contacted with in less than a week the broker Cheri N. Decided to back out of the contract this lady that seemed so nice was trying to sell us the back piece and was going to help us try to get the back piece of the land. We told her we wanted to purchase the front piece and had a contract on the front piece of land for 30 days.Cheri was trying to find a loophole we don’t think she has one but with this which we are still trying to figure this out. If you were looking for a honest place to help you or a place that isn’t going to stab you in the back or at least this person I would not suggest you go to this place and they give your hopes up and you need somebody that wants to lift you up and make you feel comfortable in a purchase that you’re going to have for a long time sincerely Tina West and John Hankins .

Negative experience: Probably the worst place I’ve ever lived at specifically “Nantucket Place”; would not recommend to anyone. Basically, you have no privacy here. I feel like if someone is always watching every little thing I do here.

She was also pregnant during the time we were searching for our forever home. She worked tirelessly to make sure the we found the perfect home, was flexible when I was personally unsure of the entire process and was great at the people side of business. Fantastic experience: Valerie Stevens helped us sell my mother’s house and buy her current home. She was there through the whole process especially when we ran into some possible deal breaking issues. She helped my mother get through them with ease. She was very professional but considered of all her needs. It was as if my mother were her own mom. She’s a great real estate agent but we consider her an even greater friend.
