Buying your first home can feel overwhelming but working with Charles and Cassandra made the entire process smooth, stress free, and actually enjoyable. From the beginning, Charles was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure my husband and I felt confident in every decision while Cassandra stayed on top of every detail and was always responsive and organized behind the scenes. Negative experience: Lack of skill and care, His in-house contractors irresponsibly left the garage open which led to 2 stolen Mercedes Benz as well as other stolen items, never retrieved these items. Conducting unauthorized repairs not agreed upon in the contract. Disciplinary action is needed.

Fantastic experience: We worked with Holloway Experience Real Estate in Newport News to sell six, yes, 6!!! homes! After our parent died, the adult children had to sell 6 rental homes while living across the U.S. We interviewed half a dozen realty companies in the Williamsburg/Newport News/Norfolk area and hired Holloway Experience. Of note, our deceased parent had been a very successful real estate broker so we knew a bit about the market. Charles and his team were absolutely extraordinary. Fantastic experience: Lorri McDonald was my realtor with The Holloway Experience Real Estate. I met her as she was the listing agent for a property I was interested in. We had such instant chemistry. She felt like an Auntie. I asked if she would be my agent and she said yes without hesitation. Her and her assistant Cassandra were very knowledgeable and communicative throughout the whole process. This was my first time buying a home so I did have some anxiety but it didn't seem like I got on their nerves lol. They make it easy for you and take care of the guess work.The seller was paying for my home warranty. Cassandra a asked me who I wanted, I told her, and then they contacted the home warranty company. She had also asked me who I wanted for termite and moisture inspection, and I didn't know.She found one and set it up. I didn't have to do a thing which was a huge relief! She also made sure I had my utilities set up which I totally forgot about Virginia natural gas.So I'm glad that she reminded me! They also made it feel like I was their only client. Anytime I texted or called with a question they answered right away.

When I became anxious during the process, they calmed my anxieties with their professionalism and explanations Of how the process was working. From day, one till the day that the buyer closed on my home, they were there for me. They provided expert tradesmen for the minor repairs that I needed done on my house. The people that they recommended showed up on time did the job like they were supposed to do and were very very affordable. I told Charles years ago during Bible study that when I get ready to sell my home, I will call him first and I am so glad that I did. When he says he’s gonna treat you like family he treats you like family. Charles listed my house on the Friday evening before Thanksgiving and that Tuesday afternoon I had a full price offer.
