Negative experience: BEWARE OF COCKAROCHES-Disgusting, filthy, and managed horribly "I recently rented an apartment from this landlord for my young family. Unfortunately, we encountered a cockroach infestation shortly after moving in. Despite reporting the issue, the response from the landlord was not as prompt as we had hoped. We understand that pest problems can happen, but it's essential for landlords to address such issues promptly. We hope the landlord can improve their pest control measures and responsiveness in the future to provide a better living experience for their tenants."

Negative experience: Alison Scott an agent that was the middle person between us and the owners was slow at responding to my concerns (several times). What was worse, was she falsely accused us of having multiple pets. I embarrassed her in front of her boss when I corrected her and then felt like she over-charged us on our deposit as retaliation. Her boss was kind and honest though when he caught the owners lying to us that we were the responsible party for scratches on the bedroom floor (it was there before we moved in). Only reason for the additional star.

Negative experience: 9 year loyal client & 5 years ago I gave this property 5☆ and now zero. I moved to a bigger location and the maintenance we have submitted have been left half way done. It's been 1year and 4months of undone jobs. Now, I was charged WITHOUT MY CONSENT for $175 for a service & I AM being blamed. I have asked this property to take time to investigate this issue because a year ago a maintained guy told us it was normal for the drains to get clogged due to something our water has and that it didn't harm us but it would caused this issue. I am now being told it has to do with my hair? I have pictures as proof there was no hair nor debris as they claim. Pictures don't lie.

Negative experience: From the start, our experience has been frustrating. The first property they placed us in was infested with cockroaches. While they eventually moved us to another property, it took six months for them to take action. Unfortunately, the new home came with its own issues. We submitted multiple maintenance requests regarding unsealed areas throughout the property. Despite repeated attempts, they ignored our request to service the garage. As a full-time business owner and with my wife managing the household full-time, we didn’t realize the garage problem had escalated until it was too late. When we brought this to their attention, they refused to take responsibility and aggressively told us they wouldn’t pay for the damages. Throughout this process, Allison — the property manager — showed little concern for helping us feel secure or settled. Instead, she seemed more focused on when we would be leaving rather than addressing our concerns. For anyone considering renting through this company, we strongly advise caution. Our experience has been filled with stress, neglect, and poor treatment. We trusted them to provide a safe and well-maintained home for our family, and they failed us repeatedly

Negative experience: Horrible for service animal owners! As first time renters, we have been living for a year paying on time and improving the house we’re in. Today Allyson and Freddie came to “check the fire alarms” but as they first walked in there attention was strictly on the dog for the first half of the inspection. We explained that he was a service animal and that he helps as an emotional support. When discussing my service dog with the management, I Was met with a demand for validation rather than other respectful inquiry under ADA guidelines service dogs do not require documentation or validation so this approach felt intrusive and dismissive. I would have appreciated More respectful and knowledgeable approach to the topic.

The BIGGEST mistake I made the first time I spoke to him was I did not hire him. I ended up hiring someone else for a slightly smaller fee and the property manager stole $35,000 from me. Earlier this year my bathroom flooded and Alison had plumbers on site immediately. She continued to check in with me after repairs were done to make sure I wasn't having any other issues. Francis Taylor even lent me their own personal shop vac, towels and floor fans to get rid of any extra moisture in the unit and saved me hundreds of dollars in equipment rental fees. Fantastic experience: Francis Taylor Property Management has been handling the property that we rent for the past two years. We have found them to be exceptional when there is any sort of problem. When we had a slab leak or when the water heater went out they were on top of the problem immediately. Got repair people here and the issue resolved in the shortest time possible with the least inconvenience to us. They followed up to be certain all was corrected to our satisfaction. They have treated us with respect every single time. Rather than hunting for a way to get out of doing any repairs they are concerned that we are happy with the house and that it is correct at all times. They seem to understand this is our home, even if we are just renting the house.
