Fantastic experience: Elizabeth was assigned to work with our family as part of our relocation from the Bay Area to San Diego for my job. After meeting Elizabeth for the first time, I quickly realized what an absolute GEM of an agent and human being I had the fortune to work with! I feel incredibly lucky that Elizabeth was our agent- she took time to get to know our family and our unique needs. Since we didn't know the area very well, she showed us around the different neighborhoods and offered insightful perspectives on each community (and very helpful recommendations on everything from restaurants, painters, schools and nail salons!) When we finally honed in on the area we wanted to live in, and nailed down our criteria for a home, Elizabeth was laser focused on identifying the right opportunities that were coming up, even before they were officially listed. She is very well connected which is helpful in such a hot market, so we were able to get early insights to homes that might fit our needs. Since we were not living in the area yet, Elizabeth would go to some of the homes we were interested in and do Facetime calls with us to show us the properties. We set aside a weekend to come down, and Elizabeth had identified a number of listings for us to visit that were all within our criteria. The San Diego market is so hot right now, and each home is selling for 400K+ over listing with multiple offers. I had heard stories from colleagues that they had made offers on over 20 homes before finally getting an offer accepted, so I went into this market very concerned that it was going to be a long haul to buy our dream home. With her deep experience in market, Elizabeth was able to guide us effectively through the process, ensuring that we had everything in place with lenders and helped us put together very strong packages. We ended up finding our dream house and getting the offer accepted on our 2nd try! Elizabeth is also a very strong advocate for her clients and skilled in negotiating so that both buyers and sellers can get what they need. She was able to get all of the inspections done within a few days of the offer being accepted, and was skilled in negotiating the repairs we wanted that were not mandatory, without offending the sellers. Even after we closed Elizabeth is still helping us, providing links to service providers, and getting quotes from multiple painters etc. Through out this whole process, I new that Elizabeth had our best interests in mind. She really cares about the families she works with, investing a lot of time to not only ace the big things (getting her buyers in top position!) but also all the little things- noticing where there should be repairs, pointing out things that might drive you nuts over time, clearly stating the pros and cons of different communities. We were also about to sell our home in the Bay Area as part of the relocation, and she provided very useful tips to help us prepare our home to get top dollar in a hot market, and gave us good advice on interviewing agents to sell our home.
