Fantastic experience: Wow! Today our house is officially off the market! Thank you John! When you came to our home all those months ago this day was just a far out idea. John met us exactly where we were at. We have kids/dogs and a whole lot going on, selling our house was not an easy feat for us but thank goodness we got John to help us through the process and never made us question a thing. Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying: this IS THE TEAM you want working with you on the sale of your home. Period. I first reached out to John after doing some research in the local area. Both Google and Zillow had over 80+ 5-star reviews, so I was certainly interested in speaking with him. I reached out to him on his website to set up a telephone call. John called me within an hour, and we spoke for about 40 minutes getting to know each other. During this call I also shared my concerns as my previous interactions with a Real Estate professional had not been positive. John was very open and positive and assured me that I would be a priority. He believes that open communication is very important and encouraged me to reach out anytime I had a question or concern. Within an hour or so of our call, John had dropped off a package including examples of the listing flyer, other listing materials, and information about my neighborhood. We met within a day of our phone call and John and Anna spent 2 hours with me going over the selling process and making recommendations on where I should focus my money and energy as I prepared my home. These two hours they spent with me was more that my previous agent had spent with me through the entire selling process. During the two months that it took me to get my house ready for sale, John called me every week to make sure things were moving forward and to see if I needed any help or had any questions. Even if he couldn’t take a call right away, John would return my call the same day. John was able to provide me with some great contractors. It can be very difficult to find good contractors so it was extremely helpful that John had compiled a list he could rely on to help homeowners. A week before the house was listed, John brought in a staging company as well as a still photographer and aerial photographer. My house was staged beautifully, and the pictures came out lovely. My home sold within a week, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire process. At this meeting we realized we were in very good hands. He was professional, friendly, and most important very excited for us and the big adventure we were about to start. We visited many properties, and finally when we thought we were done for the day we found the perfect house. Fantastic experience: John Weston was our agent for selling our house at 357 NW 46th St, Seattle, WA 98107. He did an excellent job on all counts. John was recommended by Rob Berg, Fairway Independent Mortgage, who had handled a refinance for us, and a family friend of many years. We bought the house new in 1988. In 2008 we moved to Hawaii and rented it out with the help of an excellent and trusted property manager and friend. When this manager decided to retire, and for many other reasons, we decided to sell the house in summer of 2019. We had John start preparations in early June, for a listing date of 19 September. He immediately set up a shared dropbox for documents and did an initial market analysis. John worked closely with the manager to organize everything, with tenants in the house until end of August. Since the PM had kept the house in pristine shape there wasn’t so much to do. He worked with a neighbor to resolve a shared sewer line issue (a great relief!). After the tenants moved out, he arranged in a very tight and well-coordinated sequence interior painting, deep cleaning, our own inspection and final repairs, staging and photography (really excellent!), the final market analysis, advertising, and the actual listing on multiple sites. Within hours of listing we had our first written offer. Within 24 hours we had 3 firm offers and they had an opportunity to adjust them. Three days after listing we had the final offer (8 percent over asking price) with closing 20 days later on 9 October. Throughout the entire process, John maintained close and efficient communications, very important given our distance and my travel. He very clearly translated the real estate process and language for us, always being forthright and demonstrating integrity. During the pricing and negotiation, he provided excellent analysis and recommendations. We highly recommend him as a real estate agent. After the dust settled, we all finally met up in person in Seattle and shared a wonderful dinner!

Fantastic experience: Buying a house in a new city is overwhelming, yet John made this process as smooth and easy as possible. We were moving from north of Bellingham to the Seattle area due to a job change, and we were working on a short time schedule for the job. Between preparing and selling our current home, packing up and saying good byes to friends and family, and searching for (and buying) a new house over an hour's drive away, in a season when new homes were not on the market for long, there were plenty of stressors. John was extremely gracious and flexible with scheduling showings, asking lots of questions to help tease out what kind of home we were looking for and frequently forwarding us options as we narrowed down our search.
