Fantastic experience: I was recommended Kristi with Abilene Group from my Loan Originator located in Pensacola, FL. I guess a positive reputation spreads far and wide. I'm glad I took her advice on going with Kristi. The home buying process was simple and hands off. I literally bought a house through e-mails! As long as you can be punctual with document signings and the things you need to do as a buyer, then the process will be pain free. I am in the military and had to buy a house sight unseen. The expertise that comes with experience, Kristi has in spades. My requirements she respected and gave me helpful advice along the way. For example, recommending specific Local Developers in town and reasons why it's something to think about. I was looking for a New Construction, a maximum price I didn't feel comfortable going over, 3 bed, 2 full bath, and HAD to be move in ready by the time my wife and I arrived. I am not lying to you when I say she had MULTIPLE options within a day. It was easy. We made our choice and wam-bam-thank you mam. She organized all of the paperwork that we needed to read and sign, as well as guided us to the other entities that we would need to sign documents for. Whenever I had a question, she was there either a text or email away. My wife and I are now living lavish in our new place, and everything is feeling awfully homey. I can't understate how solid the Developer crew she recommended we buy from is as well. He too is just a text away. It's amazing. tl;dr : 10/10 would buy from Kristi at Abilene Group again. I am a first time home buyer and was stationed overseas at the time I was looking to buy when a co worker of mine referred me to her. Her Moto "Excellence as Standard" is something that they far exceed! Buying remote and living in another country presented a million obstacles for myself and seemed overwhelming but their dedication to helping you buy (not pressure you to buy) was phenomenal. They possess outstanding knowledge of where you should buy (school districts/quality of builders/safe neighborhoods/and so much more). We were able to do virtual tours, chat at hours that worked for me, completely digitalize all documents (even though some are still required to be paper!), she helped with negotiating closing costs, and referred me to everyone you'd need throughout the process (mortgage officer, electric company, home owners insurance, water/sewage/wifi). I wound up buying from her about 2 months prior to showing to Texas, and her partner Whitney has also been super helpful in aiding with the set up before I even showed up. If anyone is moving to Abilene you're in great hands with Kristi and her team.
