Fantastic experience: Cristina was my listing agent for my East Bay condo in July 2025. She was very helpful in coordinating the repair work, cleaning, staging and photography for my condo. She showcased my condo on the major Sale Listing websites, hosted Open Houses on the weekends, installed a Sale sign post close to my condo and marketed my condo with a beautifully designed flyer. Fantastic experience: We first met Robert Montanez 11 months ago at our first home viewing request outside of Open House hours. Out of all the other agents we’ve met previously, Robert stood out the most. He provided valuable advice and information that we haven’t heard before. Since then he’s been our go-to agent and he was able to guide us through every step and answered our questions no matter how big or small. We had many concerns immediately after our offer was accepted and honed in on every small issue from the disclosures, but Robert’s calm manner provided us the reassurance we needed. He even negotiated on having the seller fix some of these issues such as missing GFCI wiring in multiple outlets or installing a self closing garage door. Throughout the whole process, he has always been attentive and personable, making us feel more comfortable as first-time home owners. Thanks to Robert, he helped us win our very first offer and we are very grateful for him. He’s been truly amazing to work with and we plan to send referrals his way.

Negative experience: We attempted to work with these guys but they were very unprofessional, even unethical. We gave them a low, honest review but guess what? It magically disappeared! Don't be fooled by a "perfect" (paid for) review score. Let's see how long this one lasts.

Fantastic experience: I know the term Dynamic Duo sounds like a cliché, but I can't find a better way of describing Melissa and Esmeralda. I tried meeting a couple of realtors to help me and my family look for our home. I was definitely not impressed by the interactions I had, so I decided to try my luck online. I found Melissa and liked how responsive she was. The day we met Melissa she came with a "bonus"! That was Esmeralda and she was the perfect addition to or journey to find the perfect little place for our small family. Melissa and Esmeralda complement each other. However, they have something in common that was a priority to us. They respected our decisions, never pushed us in one direction. They could have pushed us for a more expensive home for example, because they knew our budget, but not even for a second they tried to convince us to go for the more expensive home. They were fully and truly committed to find the best home for us, and not the higher commission for them. This to me speaks volumes about their work ethics. They went above and beyond. Esmeralda took the initiative to contact the place we were interested in to make sure our 4 legged furry baby would be accepted. He is a giant dog, so she thought that was imperative to make sure we wouldn't have problems prior to making a decision. Melissa went ahead and negotiated a 1 year home warranty with the sellers, we didn't even know that existed! They took care of us from start to finish, and I couldn't think of a better pair of realtors if you are looking for people who really put your needs and interests first. I cannot forget to mention, they are fun to work with. They made us feel relaxed and comfortable. They made the stressful process of looking for a home, fun and enjoyable! Please contact them! Fantastic experience: I just can't speak highly enough of Jon and Leslie and their entire network. I engaged them to sell my deceased grandparents' home which hadn't been updated in decades. I live in Texas and was managing the process remotely. From recommending estate sale resources to cleaning people to painters to flooring contractors to finally staging the home, they managed and coordinated the entire process. We had it listed in an incredibly short period of time and received a fantastic offer. They gave fantastic advice based on the particulars of the local market and helped me hone in on the improvements that would make the biggest impact for the fewest dollars as well as pricing the home for the biggest impact. Our family interviewed three real estate firms (including Vanessa) to oversee the sale of our condo in the Hayward hills. Vanessa's excellent, well-prepared, sales presentation demonstrated she is very knowledgeable about the local market and financial conditions, and her great advice on preparing our condo for sale, made Vanessa our unanimous choice to list our property for sale! Vanessa is always available to congenially answer questions, provide knowledgeable sales advice, and prepare an excellent sales plan which saw Vanessa properly price our condo for sale, have a home inspection, stage our condo, have professional photos taken for social media presentations, list our property in the MLS and Zillow, and personally oversee an open house weekend on our property...all within just 12 days after hiring her! But wait, there's more...we sold the condo to a couple who attended the open house on the first day! We know it was Vanessa's home sales preparation plan that led the way to this fabulous outcome! Once we had accepted the buyers' offer, Vanessa was also able to work with our title company and 1031 Exchange provider (both recommended by Vanessa) to fully close our escrow on-time in 21 days! What was most important to us was that we find somebody trustworthy and knowledgeable, Robert exceeded these expectations. Fantastic experience: My partner and I are first-time homebuyers, and we were glad to have had Kevin as our realtor. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a realtor. Kevin was knowledgeable and able to break the home search and buying process into easy-to-digest bite-sized pieces, which made us feel like we were in good hands. During the search, Kevin informed us of the pros and cons of the different neighborhoods and schools in the Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek areas where we were looking. Then, when we found a house we wanted to buy, Kevin worked around the clock to guide us through the purchase and counseled us on an offer strategy that ended up working out in our favor. I feel Kevin went above and beyond to help us with the purchase and to ensure our offer was accepted and the paperwork signed on time. Kevin was also able to help us with his connections to secure a loan at a better interest rate, and he worked seamlessly with the lender and us to close our loan in the short timeframe required. He also helped us with suggestions for contractors to get work done on the house before we moved in. After purchasing the home, we ran into some issues, most of which were my misunderstandings, but Kevin helped by contacting the appropriate persons to answer our questions. I feel Kevin is a helpful, honest, and sincere Realtor, and I count myself lucky he was ours. You should consider working with him if you get the opportunity because you will not regret it. We don’t!

Fantastic experience: We worked with Jon to purchase our first home. As first time home buyers, we wanted to be in good hands. Jon proved to be the right choice for us. He is a seasoned agent who was there every step of the way, being available on short notices to tour homes, quick to respond to our questions and highly knowledgeable about the area. He provided comps for houses we were interested in, walked with us through home inspection reports on houses we wanted to put an offer on and pointed any red flags, giving his insights on the house about things not written in inspection reports - which was highly valuable. For houses that were tricky to find comps for, he pulled all stops to find the right information so our offer was competitive, but also appropriate given market conditions. Molly was super-attentive (in a good way) even though we said we were 6 months out from being serious about purchasing. She encouraged us to look at a few houses so that we could get an understanding of what we do and do not like. 5 weeks later, we had moved into the 3rd house we viewed! Pros: Friendly and really works to maintain good relationships with local agents as well his clients Castro Valley local and expert Transparent Attentive Matches your pace/vibe Generous with his time Instrumental to us winning our 2nd offer Cons: Not super aggressive (if that’s what you’re looking for) Didn’t bring many listings to us that we didn’t find ourselves (but we were very on-top of the market) Long Version... As first-time homebuyers we were looking for someone who was going to take the time to guide us through all the steps of the process. We initially met Jon when we were casually looking at properties last summer. He was showing a home, and even though we made it clear we weren’t actively putting offers in, Jon took the time to talk to us extensively about the Castro Valley market. We even learned about the recent sewer lateral repair requirements through this conversation. Fast-forward about 6 months and we’re getting a little more serious. We have a preapproval in hand and are looking for someone to represent us. We met Jon at the local Peets and he walked us through his process and how he likes to represent buys. For us, his unpushy laid-back attitude combined with his expert knowledge on buying in Castro Valley was a winning combo. We were ready to buy but also not in a rush, and Jon seemed willing to work at our speed. The real tipping point was talking with local agents at open-houses, they all knew who Jon was and seemed to have genuinely kind things to say about him. We took this as a sign that this could be a competitive advantage when it comes to bidding against a mix of local and out-of-town agents. We were very actively scanning all listing available to us, and so we tended to find new options before Jon could bring them to our attention. I don’t fault Jon for this, as these days realtors seem to have limited ability to get listings ahead of time. Whenever we asked Jon about a listing, he would tell us what he knew about the property and would help us see it at the earliest convenience, accompanying us on the tour. Our first offer was on an extremely competitive 3BR. Jon worked with us to figure out what the right bid for us was. He was very open and frank about what his information and experience told him a winning bid could be, but did not push us to go over our budget. As we put together our offer, Jon spent countless hours answering questions, working with the lending agent, and preparing everything for final signature. We didn’t win this first one, but it was a great way to get the kinks out of our application and loan paperwork. We won our second offer, again on a really competitive (18 offers) property. Several aspects of Jon’s service were instrumental to our winning bid: First, we got early access to tour on a Tuesday night. Secondly, Jon had a personal relationship with the selling agent, and this helped get questions answered as well as get our offer seriously considered. Finally, Jon was transparent that he believed the selling price would be considerably above list (which it was), and we ended up getting our offer in only a few thousand dollars above the next bid. In fact, the next bid was ALL CASH, but Jon’s relationship with the selling agent and his advisement on what to obtain from our loan agent helped reassure the sellers that we were a solid buyers. If we’re ever looking to sell (or buy), we’ll definitely be working with Jon again.
