Fantastic experience: So grateful to have found Janella as I needed to sell my house quickly, and Janella was an absolute godsend. From strategizing to advising on renovations, a lot was required before going to market and she was a great partner. Fantastic experience: I don’t write reviews very often, but we had such a great experience working with Janella to find our home that I feel like I need to. We started our journey with moving to Castro Valley a little over 5 years ago and bought a condo during the wild ride of the real estate market in early 2021. We knew that we would need a bigger space at some point, so we had a plan to try to get a SFH in about 5 years. We’ve gotten to know the many neighborhoods and made some amazing forever friends in CV since then and couldn’t picture living anywhere else. We know that it can be pretty competitive out here, so when it was time to buy again, we felt we needed to work with someone who was embedded in the market and had great local connections. We met Janella months before we interviewed and signed with her, and both times came away impressed. Even though she works in other areas too, she knows our town very well and is very involved in the community. Her superpower is really how social she is and the relationships that she’s built. It feels like she literally knows everyone, from the seller realtors, to the trades people that you get quotes and hire, to some of our friends who we found out she actually sold their home to. Purchasing a home is a lot of work and stressful, but the saying that “the best ability is availability” fits Janella. She was always available to chat when we had big or small questions, to analyze a property, to show us a home that might not even work for us. She always responded quickly when we reached out, and we never felt stupid for asking her anything, even when we realized later that she had already answered it before. She did a great job helping us when we started to negotiate what became our new home. She heard our thoughts, gave us great feedback and her own opinions, without ever making us feel pressured into a decision we were uncomfortable with. She definitely wanted us to make sure we loved the home and didn’t feel like we compromising on our goals, and we always felt like she listened and knew what it was that mattered most to us. I could go on and on, but long story short: Janella did an awesome job helping us navigate buying our home, and we can easily recommend her. She constantly proved herself to be a great realtor and we’re so happy that we chose to work with her. We think if you schedule an interview with her, you’ll easily see why.

Fantastic experience: Wow. Just wow. First of all, Janella is just absolutely amazing! This process was hands down the most stressful experience I have faced so far in my life, and Janella was there every step of the way. I think the biggest fear when buying a house is you just don't want to feel like you're making the wrong decision. You don't want to get into a house where you feel like you will regret it later, and you definitely don't want to be made a sucker. What I appreciated the most about Janella, is that anytime I had a question or I was worried about something, or I just didn't understand, she really took the time to talk it through with me. Her communication skills really went above and beyond! If I texted her first thing in the morning, she answered. If I had a weird question in the evening about something I read or something I was unsure about, she answered. Even when she couldn't talk, she would let me know, and tell me when she would call me back. That consistent and reliable communication is so comforting when you're making such a big decision! And let me tell you, my OCD and my attention to detail was probably really hard to deal with, but Janella always made me feel like my questions were valid and that my feelings were important. You really can't beat that! And that's on top of all her regular duties! Besides her great communication, I really appreciated Janella's flexibility. She always made sure showings worked for both me and my husband's schedule, even the ones that were really out of the way and far from her office. We appreciated her recommendations, which always had our best interests in mind, even though the house we went with didn't end up being one of those recs. We also appreciated her negotiation skills- she definetly knows what she is doing! Janella has been doing this for a long time and it really shows. Her expertise, her passion, and the level of love and care she puts into her client relationships really can't be beat. And to top it all off, the extra mile she goes for your official grand entrance on key day is the icing on the cake! Silly side story, but there was a Dia de los Muertos tequila bottle Catrina that was staged in the house. I always said that I was going to hide it so I can keep it once the stagers took the furniture. I collect Catrinas, so it was just a funny little thing between us. I was almost in tears when that same bottle was in the kitchen on key day. She went out of her way to research and find that exact same bottle and present it as a gift! It's the little things, in my opinion, that really make a difference about who you want in your corner. Pick Janella. You won't be sorry!

Well we first found a house that was a fixer upper that we were SOLD but after her dealings with the seller she put her own benefit aside and told us that this was going to lead us to a world of trouble.
