Fantastic experience: My husband and I are expecting our first baby come August this year so we knew we were ready to start the search for our forever home. From the moment we contacted Derica and through the entire process of house hunting she was there for us every step of the way. From meeting us in the middle of snowstorms, to staying in contact with us even while she was on vacation to make sure everything was going as planned. Being first time home buyers we had no idea what to expect or what to look out for and Derica encouraged us to get a thorough inspection and to also get testing done for radon, a toxin produced by the soil which we had never heard of. After the testing was done we found out our basement tested positive for high levels and now we have a system installed that has rid us of that entirely and our home is safe! Fantastic experience: Matching hearts to homes isn't a pickup line with Derica, she means business ❤️ We must have looked at atleast 30 houses, indecisive on location...torn on what was a must have and what was a required (like a garage with power ) but she was so kind, informative, and never made us feel like we were bugging her, even at 7am or 10 pm. I wish that everyone could have an experience like this - it was top notch. From setting us up with a lender, making sure it was a good fit, home inspections, sewer scopes.....she one billion percent looked out for us and we're incredibly grateful for that!! From the very beginning, when Michael and I decided that we wanted to sell our Garden City House and find our forever home in an area where we could picture ourselves being for the next 30+ years — We were PICKY. They gave us a list of recommendations for company resources that we’d need from inspections to staging! Negative experience: We went to look at a condo she was showing. She couldn’t answer any questions I had. She repeatedly told me to have my realtor download the bylaws to get the answers I was looking for. We’ve looked at a lot of condos over the last year and this is the first time the realtor showing the place had no clue about what she was trying to sell. The thing is, she had a week to get up to speed on the property before the open house, and it was obvious she didn’t prepare for the showing.
