Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Francis summer of 2023 -- with his help, I made an offer under the house's market value, and the offer was accepted. In the competitive landscape of buying a house in the Bay Area post-COVID, my search for the perfect house was rough. After months of looking at multiple houses and making offers with different realtors, my rate of success was 0. I knew I needed to change my strategy, but I lacked guidance from my previous realtors. When I finally made the move over to Francis, I immediately felt a shift of energy in the house search. He asked me all the right questions and provided deep analysis along with his expert opinion on all the properties I was eyeing. He was good at flagging bad actors from the seller side who inflated list prices, or had dubious behaviors when it came to disclosures, which saved us a lot of time. Fantastic experience: This is our very first home ever. We worked with Francis from The Ricafort Team. He was very detailed and during our introduction he went thought the whole process in detail and answered all our question and made us very comfortable with the process and gather our preference and help set expectation based on our budget. He send out a regular updated on the new homes and encourage us to go visit as many open houses as possible to get the feel for it. After we found our home during the bidding process he went though in detail about the home inspection report and also come in-person to the home to view the home to give the idea of what to look for. When we were deciding for the price gave walked through all the possible bid amount and other contingencies that are within the range and explained the possible exception on those offer and make a successful offer. There were few hiccup along the way after the bidding and he explained us everything and was very communicative with the sell help putting use both in a ease. Even after closing the home we found few issue that the seller was not able to resolve but Francis was very diligent and followed up to helped get it fixed as a token of appreciation. Fantastic experience: Francis helped my family get our first dream house! The process of getting our house as a first time buyer was not traditional: On top of the usual - make an offer, escrow, close - we had a lot of extra back and forth with the selling agent that was not easy to work with. Francis was a trooper by helping us work through the back and forth and getting on calls within minutes to discuss anything as well as sending communications during late hours of the day to help us take hold of precious time during the time sensitive interactions in this buying process. I probably asked what felt like a thousand questions during this time, and Francis had the patience to answer and walk me through each question very thoroughly to help me understand and think through the process for myself. I think this is very important, so that no one makes a decision to buy a house just because. Francis does not push you to make any decisions at all; everything was completely up to me after he laid out all the options we could think of. I bought my house feeling this is what I needed and I had an incredible agent to help me obtain it. A great example of Francis' proactiveness that was key to secure the house was that in the beginning, the house was pending with another buyer, but Francis did not give up and proactively stayed in contact with the seller agent to see if that buyer backs out. We signed a contract to buy a new construction home in the valley and then reached out to the Ricafort team to discuss selling our home in Fremont, CA. Our goal was to sell the home before the new construction home was completed. Unfortunately, the market started to shift during this time and it was obvious that we were no longer in a hot seller’s market. Fantastic experience: I have to agree with other's reviews that Francis is definitely a godsend! We came across Francis by chance when he was listing a place next door to us. After the first conv, you'll get the feeling that Francis isn't the usual type of agent but someone who's kind, understanding, humble. We've really struggled to find a property with realistic pricing. While others would & have pushed us to pay higher price, Francis would listen to our need & most importantly, he would do the extensive due diligence and research to walk us through and respect our decision!! During the process, we can really see how Francis' experiences have helped us getting the house we want, at the price we want, and finally settling in well into the house!! Fantastic experience: This review is LONG overdue because I have been too busy moving into and putting my personal touches on my new home; all this thanks to Francis and Willa Ricafort - The Ricafort Team! I initially started my home search back in October of 2020, but honestly did not have the best experience with the realtor or lender. I paused my efforts because of that and a few other reasons. In April, a colleague of mine was looking for a realtor referral in the Fremont/Union City/Hayward/San Leandro area. I recommended The Ricafort Team as I know Francis and Willa through mutual friends. I let Francis and Willa know that I recommended them to a colleague, and they messaged me back and thanked me for the recommendation. A month or so later, I reached out to them again and mentioned that I was actually in the market to purchase a property. We started the process in early to mid-May, and to my surprise an offer I submitted was accepted mid-June. I was in my new home mid-July. It was only the fifth property on which I submitted an offer. I was definitely not expecting that in this market. What was great about The Ricafort Team was that throughout the process they were beyond helpful, provided guidance, and listened to my needs and concerns. The process began with an initial consolation where they gathered information about what I was looking for in a property for myself and my son. They provided helpful information like how to read disclosures, for example. They offered to set up a meeting to walk me through what to expect when going through the process of purchasing of a home. The Ricafort Team even shared preferred lender information with the caveat that their clients still seek out 2 - 3 additional lender options and move forward with whomever they felt comfortable. (Side note: I used their lender Brad Louden, and he was awesome!) Throughout my search, I never had any issues with scheduling any home tours. The tours were set up as efficiently as possible as I was looking for homes in the Fremont, Union City, Newark and Hayward areas. As previously mentioned, I put offers in on a total of five properties. Each time an offer was submitted, they would set expectations in a very diplomatic way. It’s an extremely competitive market, and they would do their best to be optimistic, but realistic. They would do their due diligence and conduct as much research as possible with each offer that was submitted so we would have some idea of the competitive landscape. All throughout the process, we were in constant communication. Even when they went on vacation, they were accessible, helped set up tours and submitted offers on properties. Ironically, it was an offer we submitted while they were on vacation that was accepted. A few weeks later, I was on vacation and that was when I closed. If you’re in the market to purchase or sell your home, I would highly recommend The Ricafort Team. Not only are they on top of their game, and knowledgeable about the market, they are just overall fun and pleasant people to work with. They far exceeded my expectations, and made what can be an extremely stressful and strenuous process an enjoyable one.

Fantastic experience: It was a long and laborious years of house hunting from Fairfield to Hayward although I know in my heart that I wanted to stay in the Peninsula area. Before choosing a real estate agent, my wife and I conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice, and when a friend recommended us the Ricafort Team, we were impressed in our interview by how they described the approach to our personal real estate needs. The Ricafort Team invested a lot of time and effort in making sure all of our needs were met, they answered numerous questions along the way that we had, provided more than enough data to allow us to make sound decisions and guide us when things looked confusing. He really understood our needs, recommended houses or townhouses that meet our requirements and budget, also he did research on the sold price in the past few months nearby the property we wanted to make an offer and provided us a bid strategy. It takes several months from we started to search houses to we purchased a townhouse in Fremont. Francis is always patient and trustable. Fantastic experience: Willa was great throughout our entire buying process. We knew we were on a tight budget (as is anyone in this area) to get what we were looking for. We kicked off our relationship via a conference call walking through the process and expectations with both Willa and her partner Bryan. It was obvious they were experienced, knowledgeable about the current market, and had a good idea of how it was trending. Most importantly they made it clear that it is difficult to close because it is a strong seller's market and outlined their tactics to increase our chances of closing before seeing any houses. From there on out Willa was our go-to for house visits and collecting information about the property. Willa had a very flexible schedule to meet with us on the weekends. She was also quickly responsive with communications. She routinely checked to see if we could get inspection reports prior to visiting so we didn't waste time driving around if there were more issues than we could fix. We visited around 50 houses in ~4 months. We thought we could only afford a palace in Newark when we really wanted to be in Fremont. To our surprise, we found a perfect home for us in Fremont in a great location and school due to the expectations given in our first meeting we put in a competitive offer. We actually put in the same bid as another couple, but our offer's structure and Willa being able to tell our family's story ended up getting the seller to accept our offer.
