Fantastic experience: Marcus and Eric represent by the finest and the most effective realtors you can find in the Jersey City/Edgewater hudson waterfront real estate. I recently completed my fourth transaction in this area and Eric/Marcus were by the far the best experience and results I have seen of anyone I worked with. For context, I owned a piece of real estate in a building/community that has struggled to really appreciate in value over the pandemic years and several other issues. Selling this property was going to be a challenge and many realtors would just walk away from taking on my business given the reputational risk to them. Eric and Marcus took it on and not only did they manage to sell the place, we got our asking price. In spite the many challenges - they were creative, innovative and managed expectations super effectively with other buyers. They staged the apartment beautifully, worked around some very challenging schedules for showings and also some building litigation issues. At the end - we got an outcome that I honestly had not imagined going into the deal. For that only Eric and Marcus deserve all the credit. A few characteristics that separate them from the competition: 1- Organized - From the get go, Eric and Marcus had a plan. They quickly brought me pricing recommendations, established a timeline, and were 3 steps ahead of me at every step of the process - this included staging, showings, and then from the time we got an offer to close. I have never seen dates met as precisely as what Eric quoted me on the closing timeline. They knew all the detailed steps and factored for it in their work. 2- Client oriented - Not once did Eric or Marcus press me to make decisions. Realtors can do that as it matters to their own numbers. They always put my concerns at the forefront. This included being available around my schedule, being responsive at all times, and not pushing back if i asked for certain changes whether to the contract or the timeline. 3- Network - Eric and Marcus are so well connected in to the hudson waterfront network of inspectors, attorneys, fire inspectors, staging companies, contractors, cleaners. He then setup the showing for the house we wanted as well as added other places that he thought would be good to see to compare. So what happens? Fantastic experience: Eric Leventhal was my realtor for my first home purchase and I can't say enough good things about him. I think there are three important things to look for in a realtor 1) how well they know your market of interest 2) how attentive and responsive they are during the process from prospecting through settling 3) their connections to other stakeholders in the process. Eric absolutely exceeded expectations in all three. I was primarily interested in Hoboken and Jersey City and Eric might as well be the mayor of both towns. Within an hour of our intro call, he sent me several listings to look at (via the Compass platform, which has a great interface) which matched what I was looking for. He very quickly was able to schedule showings for ones I liked, all of which he attended with me. He also helped me step-by-step through the entire process: evaluating listings, determining the offer, retaining an attorney, finding an inspector, attending the inspection with me, scheduling the appraisal, and helping with all the other details the whole way through. All in all, Eric is fun guy to work with, is excellent at what he does, and will make you feel like you're his only client. Would 100% recommend.

Just prior to listing, they reached out to me, as they felt I should increase the sale price, (which I think is pretty rare in an agent, as many are simply after # turnover of transactions). They did a superb job marketing the property and within the day of listing - I had multiple offers and it went for full ask. They were completely trustworthy and professional throughout. They were outstanding and made the whole process extremely easy and stress free. I would strongly recommend them to anyone!
