Negative experience: I am a first home buyer. I worked with Marisa's team for totally 4 houses. I submitted 2 offers in 2 of 4 houses. I am a serious buyer. When I went to see the first house, it was listed 350k. Marisa's team was very enthusiasm to show the house, answer my questions, and write paperwork for this house. The team is very helpful. But, in the end, my first offer was not accepted because of the market. For the second house, the second house was listed 197k initially, and then reduced to 190k. Marisa's team was also very enthusiasm for showing the house. When we moved to the paperwork processing. I have multi questions to ask. Some questions were answered, some questions were not answered in earnest. Most questions were answered by short answers (simply yes or no). After I submitted the initial offer, the seller didn't accept. Then, we moved to the negotiation process. Marisa's team just did copy seller agent's words and then pasted for answering my questions. No comments, no explanations, and no negotiation strategy instructions. The team was not helpful because the house was cheaper than the first one, 190k. I felt unhappy. Marisa said, "she can counter for me". Finally...... they STOP replying my questions for this house after a few days of the counter. We didn't submit offers to the third and fourth houses. When we visited the fourth home, Marisa's team was late because the fourth home was listed 160k. Conclusion: Marisa's team will treat you based on who you are and which house you are going to buy. If you are rich and going to purchase an expensive house, go ahead to let Marisa's team be your buyer agent, the team will work with you very well.
