Our first interactions involved finding tenants for a house that we owned in the Seacoast. Each year Sue would manage to find excellent tenants – people who valued our home, paid rent on time, and left the place just as they found it. Most recently, she managed the rental, and eventual sale, of the house that had been our home for over 3 decades. Throughout the process she was there for us. She began by helping us deal with the emotional difficulty inherent in selling a place where you have raised a family. She carefully researched the property market, established a reasonable asking price, found people who could shape up the lawn and gardens, arranged for a fabulous set of photos of the house to be taken, managed an open house and several showings (while the house was still occupied by our tenants) in a manner that was sensitive to the needs of both prospective buyers and our tenants, helped us find a crew to haul trash to the dump, and found the best cleaning crew in the Seacoast area to do a final pre-sale cleaning of the house. As if this were not enough, when Sue realized that cleaning out the house was taking its toll on us, she appeared with homemade sandwiches and cookies. When two days before the closing a problem arose with the contractual language, Sue worked directly with the prospective buyers to craft new language which resolved the matter. Sue is the genuine article – someone who will do her best for you, someone who you’ll respect and admire, someone who at the end of the day you’ll count among your friends!

When I talked with Mike Perry, he came and sat with me and we came up with a game plan that would put me in the best position to maximize the value of my home. He set timelines to get things done before putting it on the market, and because I was injured at the time, he helped with preparing everything. Packing, repairs, painting...Mike took a hands-on approach that I don't think real estate agents typically do. What started out as overwhelming became streamlined.
