Fantastic experience: My husband and I recently relocated to Florida; as anyone who has ever made a long-distance move to an unfamiliar area knows, it is a major undertaking! Fantastic experience: I have bought and sold a few houses, sometimes with an agent sometimes without depending on the circumstances. I did not need an agent to sell my home in St Augustine in this red hot sellers market particularly in my neighborhood less than 2 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. I listed it on Zillow as a FSBO a couple days after purchasing a primary house in another city – with a little help of an agent. My plan was to not respond to the overwhelming avalanche of calls and texts that poured in immediately after listing it. I replied to inquiring neighbors but could not responded to unknown people. I was stressed beyond beyond. For some reason while sitting at a red traffic light I answered a phone call. I was immediately struck with Matt’s genuineness, calmness and ability to engage me in a animated conversation. He clearly knew how to quickly develop a relationship of respect and trust. He didn’t have the tone (via phone messages, transcriptions of messages, etc.) that all others had – of urgency, stress, wanting something from me, etc. Matt made it a pleasure to speak with him and throughout the process we spoke a few times. I know they are amazing listing agents, but Team Territo did an excellent job as buyer's agents too. When we were out of town, they FaceTimed us through homes. Matt's background in construction was very helpful in considering lots and looking at existing homes as well. They lined up a great inspector for us and guided us though the contracting process in Florida. When we came down before the furniture arrived they had an air mattress and sheets, in the bedroom, water and coffee in the refrigerator, soap and toiletries stocked etc, so we didn't need a hotel waiting for the movers. Fantastic experience: Gretchen and Matt are the best. I wouldn't think of using anyone else. They are extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of their market. We had a lot of questions about zoning and short term rental and they knew it all. They also were so helpful to us after we closed, and they helped us with so many things after their obligation to us was complete.
