Fantastic experience: This review has been overdue for a while, partly because it feels a little strange writing a review for someone we now consider a friend—and I definitely didn’t want to leave some generic AI generated review. We’ve been Mike’s clients for more than 10 years. During that time, he has helped us buy a house, rent out a house, and most recently sell a house. I genuinely can’t think of a single instance over those 10 years when Mike or his wonderful team fell short. They have always gone out of their way to make every process as smooth and painless as possible. I also want to give a special shoutout to Jamie on Mike’s team. We’ve known her for only a short time, but from the very first call, she made us feel as though we had known her forever. She helped me navigate and negotiate some tricky situations with thoughtful, practical advice and guidance. She also coordinated and scheduled all the work the house needed before we put it on the market, taking a huge amount of stress off our shoulders. Jamie made the entire selling process feel seamless, and the experience reinforced why we have continued to trust Mike and his team for more than a decade. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Fantastic experience: In the last few months we purchased a home and then sold our townhome with Mike and the Genesis Team. We had the pleasure of working with Mike, Adrian, and Jamie. At each step along the way we knew we had a team that was built to help us be successful in achieving our goal. With the home purchase Mike and Adrian helped us narrow our search and gave us excellent guidance along the way that was specific to our goals. They also helped us make a successful offer in a competitive market including making some final hour adjustments to our offer that made the difference in our offer being the one that was accepted. After the sale went through they voluntarily had a couple of areas repainted to fix holes in the walls left behind from the staging. For the sale of our townhome, Mike, Jamie and Adrian were excellent to work with and gave us excellent feedback regarding the preparation of our townhome for sale. Once we agreed to the proposal all of the details were handled seamlessly. Kudos to Jamie for developing the punch list and coordinating the various contractors. A lot came together in a short period of time to get ready for market. We also received informed guidance regarding pricing strategy that was ultimately successful in generating multiple offers. We were very satisfied with the experience. With both the purchase of our home and sale of our townhome communication throughout the process was excellent. When we first contacted Mike and the Genesis Team we already had a favorable impression from feedback we had heard during our 10+ years in Rivermark. Now, having gone through the purchase of our home and the sale of our townhome, we would absolutely recommend Mike and the Genesis Team!

I got to know about Mike as his team helped sell 2 houses in Fremont for my relatives. In the first meeting, he toured my house and gave me sale price range. In 2 months as I got ready, the Team undertook all the repairs and upgrades within the budget number I expected and then sold for 20% more than sale price initially mentioned. Fantastic experience: Mike helped me to by my first house at Haig st, Santa Clara. Then I asked him to help me my second house. He showed me my second house at De La Cruz blvd Santa Clara right away when it came to the market. Open house for the house was on Saturday. Mike completed all my documentation on Friday a day before the open house. My offer was accepted on Monday. He completed all tractions with I believe was only 2 weeks. Now his office is near my house and we end up becoming friends. He still helps if I need any help. Example he tries to help my son giving him advice in his profession etc.

Fantastic experience: Mike and his team did a wonderful job guiding me and my girlfriend through the market as a first time homebuyers. They educated me on the whole process and helped me get started with mortgage lenders. They would send us weekly listings and work with us to look at other listings we had found on our own. They were very prompt with communication and we're happy to check out listings any day of the week. We ultimately found a wonderful home, but Mike and his team didn't end there. They helped resolve some issues during escrow (previous owner didn't fully remove their stuff, provided gate code wasn't accurate, assisted getting home insurance quotes) in a timely manner. They would check in every few months to see if we needed anything. Overall, very happy with the experience and would reach out to Mike and his team again if/when I move.

Negative experience: The condo I rented from them has so many issues. The genesis team did a very poor job of inspecting items. They only looked at external appearance and not the details. Within a day of moving in, we found door latch not working, washing machine had a big water leak, the bathroom shower did not work, the garage remotes work when they want to. Very poor attention to detail and poor response

Negative experience: The Genesis Team seems an Phishing website and we called them hundred times but no one answered us!! We gave our application fee already but can't get it back!

Negative experience: Went to a house viewing and the realtor (Tyler) showed up late. Submitted an application and paid the fee that same day. Despite several voicemails and emails to ask about status, they have not had the decency to let me know that the house was rented to someone else. It makes me feel they are just after the application fees and do not provide any service in return. I left 2 stars because when the realtor did show up, he was friendly.

Negative experience: Never repair anything and terrible at communicating

Negative experience: Don't rent any house if this genesis team is managing. they will rip you off and steal all your hard earned money. I can give them negative stars if I can.
