My dad passed away unexpectedly, and overnight I found myself responsible for handling all of his affairs with very little in place to guide me. I was completely overwhelmed and had no idea where to begin. One of the biggest challenges was figuring out what to do with his home in Necedah, Wisconsin, hours away from where Char is located, and I live in Chicago. Fantastic experience: Would like to take a moment to share our experience working with Char Nikolai associated with Cove Reality. At the time my wife and I committed ourselves to the great search of Our Forever Home, I contacted Char from Cove Reality. Char asked me certain questions such as the standard questions price range , location, ,home preference. Once done , Char went straight to work in search for a home. Within a short period the emails from Char started coming in on different homes in our specifications. Looked at some homes, put some offers in , had an offer or two fall through the search continues all during our some frustrations Char always reassured us she will find our home. I wanted to take a home search break for at this time COVID 19 was starting to start no one was sure what the economy was in store. Between my wife and Char the search did continue the proper cautions were now being taken for everyone’s health. Looked at few more homes , found our home started the processes from placing an offer, counter offers, the final offer all during the process Char was always emailing us the proper paperwork that needed our signatures, if my wife or I had any questions which we had many, Char was always available to answer our questions and or concerns . The closing date is approaching now the concerns on closing on time are starting to set in on us , due to COVID 19 with only essentials orders are being placed in to all of us, we contacted Char immediately she assured us as of now all is still on schedule putting our concerns at ease. Char would contact my wife and myself the week of closing several times assuring us all is still on schedule. Closing day has arrived , Char contacted us stating this is going to be a different type of closing, we will not be entering the building of Gateway Mortgage everything will be done in the parking lot in the comfort of our vehicles. I was looking to sell my first home in a fairly quick period of time in order to purchase a new home in another state, due to a job change.
