Fantastic experience: Rose was fantastic to work with over the past few months. We originally met with her to sell our house, but quickly realized we needed to buy/move first. Rose was able to pivot with us and put in long hours working with our lender to address a complicated financial situation. Negative experience: Called to ask what are the qualifications for rental. Receptionist goes to say “we don’t accept felons.” So in other words you discriminate against criminal background. “No ma’am we can’t discriminate off criminal background”. Well the way you worded definitely makes it seem like you’re company discriminate against felons. I was so polite and still got hung up on. This felon definitely would’ve been a phenomenal tenant. This company needs to learn how to choose better words when describing what the requirements are. 2 stars just because she remained humbled even after hanging up on me. I called back because I wasn’t finished asking questions. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: As first time home buyers, my husband and I went into the process a little unsure of everything. Rose Bogosian, of Gonnering Realty, took us under her wing and walked us through every step thoroughly to make sure we knew what was happening at all times. Rose took the time to educate us on all things home buying and home owning related. She saw dozens of houses with us in a rough market and encouraged us throughout the entire process. She was on top of all our needs and was always a call away. Negative experience: These people are trash. They are always walking into my place with no notice. Against Wisconsin statu. They don’t care about problems within the places unless they get the money. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend. I feared for my life in these places and they did nothing.

Negative experience: Consistently violates tenant rights to privacy and peaceful enjoyment of property. We have had numerous occurrences of these people (Rhonda) inviting themselves on to the property we rent for non-emergency purposes, twice within the last month and similar issues in the previous year, with no notice given. Anyone else who experiences this should report them at mydatcp dot wi dot gov The only positive reviews they receive are from people that own the properties that they rent out and they were probably solicited to do so. Begging for non-organic positive feedback on Google isn't as great of a strategy as just being professional and having integrity. Otherwise, none of their tenants have anything nice to say about them which should be a huge red flag to anyone. One of their property owners even suggested that they fix broken things quickly, but our experience has been the opposite of that. We have been paying for a 2 bathroom house and one of the bathtubs is unusable due to being infested with black mold from years of never being cleaned. Even if it were sanitized the water doesn't drain because the plumbing is defective in the house, so it would still be unusable. These issues were reported and almost no effort was made to fix them. I suppose at the end of the day it's our fault for renting it. When you report issues to them their immediate response is finger pointing, asking things like "well how did it break? x usually don't just break!" instead of objectively and professionally trying to resolve the issue. They don't replace smoke and carbon monoxide detectors when they're at the end of their life but they harass you for not changing the batteries once a year which just punctuates how unqualified they are. That alone is a great example of how this company prefers to engage in authoritarian type harassment under the guise of 'property management' without actually doing anything. They should stop worrying about the crayon artwork my 3 year old put on a wall that can be repainted and instead learn how to 'manage' the lifecycle of life saving devices like fire and co detectors. When we first moved in we were restricted from using our own smart thermostat to save money because Rhonda is full of opinions without any actual knowledge. She was told by her HVAC pals that smart thermostats somehow destroy HVAC units when that is technically absurd, and her HVAC pals get commission from the Honeywell garbage they push on people. So we were essentially restricted from saving money because of Rhonda's technological ignorance. It seems they bend over backwards for the people who own the properties that they rent out, but treat their renting tenants like garbage. This is evident by the multitudes of horrible feedback they receive from their renters. Rose seems to be a nice lady but she either has no control over her employees or she's aware and complacent with how badly Rhonda treats people. We have rented from other people for years and have never had such a toxic and untrusting relationship with anyone as we do with Gonnering, specifically Rhonda, and it started before we even moved in right after the lease was signed. This company seems to be quite comfortable in engaging in unprofessional behavior to almost tenant harassment, based on our own experience with them and other reviews from other tenants that seem to echo our experiences.

Fantastic experience: We love Gonnering! We have used Rose 3 times now! We have bought 2 homes and sold one through her. Can’t say enough good things about her. Always excellent communication throughout the entire process both purchasing and selling, she truly does make an extremely stressful life event so much easier! If you’re at the point in your life where you need to buy or sell a home, look no further!
