Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience using Turbo Home with Kevin Kretzmer as the agent. This was our first home buying experience and Kevin provided the right balance of hand holding when needed as well as autonomy to drive the process forward. Love the flat fee format these guys use and saved loads compared to the average brokerage with what I found to be comparable service. Not that impressed with most of the AI integrations their platform has, but figure it'll get better with time. There's so much nuance even street to street in some coveted neighborhoods it just wasn't precise enough. Probably better using your own AI to run comps and disclosure analysis. Will definitely use these guys again when it comes time to need another realtor. Hopefully not for a while!

Nothing could have been further from the truth though. Fantastic experience: We were looking for a good flat-fee brokerage to purchase a home in California Bay Area and stumbled across TurboHome. Still seemed new to the market, but after a chat decided to give them a try. We were very pleased with their service, from us changing our city of focus, to our mortgage lender having stringent rules on closing funds, they were able to accommodate us in every way. We never felt like we were missing anything compared to larger brokerages, we typically go look for homes and attend most open houses on our own. They were able to arrange for private tours on homes that don’t have open houses (usually a different real estate agent will be scheduled to show up with you), and provide off-market listings. Our personal agent and main point of contact Michael was fantastic to work with, his advice and predictions were always spot on. And of course, the major savings from their flat fee structure was a huge bonus compared with the old traditional style firms. I don’t see how I would buy our next house any other way!

Better than what have experienced with the traditional full-commission buyer’s agents we have worked with on 3 other homes in the past. Kevin was on point the entire process - updating late into nights/weekends and whenever we needed him. It truly felt like 24/7 support. And most important it saved us about $60,000+ in commissions on a $4M southern cal home purchase.. So that doesn't stink! Just for anyone researching - before I went with Turbo Home I did do pretty extensive homework. I dove into the reddit forums / youtube / reviews and shopped a few other flat fee companies. Some were cheaper and I called to "interview" them. And I got a not-so-profressional vibe from the two other companies I called. So I went with turbo homes because I felt like Kevin was more on-point and the company was just more professional as a whole. Definitely happy I did, as I was proven right. If anyone is considering going the flat-fee route, which I don't know why you wouldn't, I would for sure consider Turbohomes and I can’t recommend Kevin enough. (I am so. california)

Fantastic experience: We just purchased a condo in Newark with TurboHome. The entire process went surprisingly quickly and smoothly. We had done a lot of the legwork ourselves already, narrowing the final choices to two condos. We mainly needed a realtor to show us the final two and guide us through the offer process, as well as through the necessary paperwork. TurboHome did all of that, and saved us money with their flat fee, which worked out to about 1.4% of the sale price. Both Daniels were helpful with preliminary paperwork. Kevin got us through the offer process, and he and Bianca were both helpful with the post-sale paperwork. We never actually met any of them in person, but interacted with them as needed via phone, email and text. All the documents, including the ones from the title company, were signed online with Docusign. We closed a few days ago, and got the deed from the County already. This is the modern way to buy a property, apparently, and it worked well for us.

Fantastic experience: We recently bought our first home with the help of our realtor Rich from TurboHome. We had independently found a home that we loved, so we balked at a percentage-based realtor's fee but still wanted an expert to guide us through the homebuying process. Our TurboHome realtor was knowledgeable and responsive, and the flat fee approach saved us a lot of money.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE!!! This company advertises saying they are full service but that is far from the truth. The agent didn't even do the bare minimum. She would tell me whatever she thought I wanted to hear so that the deal would go through not caring whether or not I was getting a house with a bunch of serious issues or not. She gave me misinformation and did not tell me that she was working with a restricted license because she got in trouble with the real estate licensing board. I regret ever working with this company. You are going to make the biggest purchase of your life and these people will not try to get a good deal for you they will simply try to get the deal so they get paid! My agent never even met me!!! She would not reply to many of my questions through text. The agent would not go to show me the house because it was "too far for her". They also say that the agent will be local and knowledgeable of the area in which you are purchasing and the agent they assigned to me lived hours away and had absolutely no knowledge about the area I was purchasing but I was stuck with her and they would not let me out of the contract even though she was completely not knowledgeable, not doing her job and completely unprofessional. I ended up having to do much of the agent's job like scheduling inspections and she did not give me any advice whatsoever. She took so much time to even get back to me it seemed as if I would have been better off not having an agent at all because I was doing more of the work than she was. Do yourself a favor and get a reputable local real estate agent do not skimp on something that will have such a huge impact on your life. Find a reputable real estate agent that will actually go to the house you are interested in and tell you things you need to know as well as fight for you to get the best deal because you won't find that at Turbohome!!!!

Fantastic experience: it was a great experience working with Donny and Bianca and the turbohome team. Donny and Bianca were the backbone of the turbohome experience. Donny was responsive, professional and advocated on my behalf in negotations/offers. Am happy to have worked with Danny and he has helped the transaction close/happen despite last minute hiccups and working with the listing agent/lenders/title and other folks involved. Five stars to Donny and Bianca and his team. Overall, at a personal level, it has been great working with Donny and Biance, but i feel turbohome should provide more explanation of what one can expect and the process of whom to contact for whom. As long as one understands this, it helps avoid underwhleming experience. The turbohome model isn't a full-realtor dedicated-time experience, so my expectations were initially unclear, but as i had put in offer on first home, was getting the hang of it. I expected Donny to tour and provide insights before putting in offers, which i understood later is not how turbohome works where there are separate agents for touring and Danny works primarily in backend.
