Fantastic experience: Stephanie was an absolutely FANTASTIC realtor to work with in the Charlottesville area! She really helped us out with everything leading up to the sale including advice on how to stage our house for viewings, preparing for Open House, and giving us great advice on our listing price and comps in the area. Things happened extremely fast and efficiently. Professional photos were timely and very flattering. Our house was listed on a Friday, Open House on Saturday and Sunday, and we had 3 solid offers by Monday! We literally were under contract in under 4 days at our listing price. We could not have been happier. Stephanie was also able to hook us up with contracting help in rectifying a couple of the stipulations (i.e. minor repairs to gutters) that needed to be accomplished before handing over the keys. I would also say that she was very cognizant of our animals during the showings. We have 3 indoor cats that just would be lost and afraid if they managed to escape. We had a slight scare that one had somehow snuck out, but he was just in super stealth mode due to the activity. We don't know what we would have done if he was gone, so we appreciated her care in working around the babies in the house... She was the perfect balance of being friendly, professional, and tenacious all in one package. At one of the showings, we were very late (my fault), but she was so patient and gracious when she could have been frustrated (and rightfully so). Fantastic experience: If you want a realtor, Mrs. Shellenburger is the way to go! I had a very unusual criteria for my first house/property, and I didn’t think I would EVER find a place that I had dreamed of, especially in the Charlottesville/Albemarle area as things are just getting too expensive, and too small. I hired Mrs Shellenburger to assist me in my search. After touring MANY different places, and me being picky about it (I would say things like “I hate it”), we found THE place.
