Lake Keowee Real Estate | Melanie Fink and Associates - Howard Hanna Allen Tate Real Estate

Fantastic experience: This is the second house Melanie has sold for us, and she was amazing again! She gave us great advice, connected us with people to handle repairs, and followed up to make sure everything was done well and on time. Our house had become a real source of stress, and her help took so much off my shoulders. The photos and listing were beautiful, and she was so supportive through it all. We’re so grateful for her and would absolutely recommend her!

Fantastic experience: Melanie managed this Northerner like a skilled veteran. Lake knowledge, opinions, and patience. She was always ready to engage in a conversation, and she always knew her stuff. Buying on Lake Keowee from out of state takes time, and Melanie never once pushed us to move faster than we were ready to. We weren't after just land or a house. This is set up to be our forever home for retirement, and hopefully where our future grandkids will want to spend their summers. She knows the coves, the water depth, the dock potential, and the covenants subdivision by subdivision. We'd drive through neighborhoods and people would flag her down to say hello, folks she'd sold to years ago. She was always available, always honest, and she's helping us pick our builder next. More than a realtor, for sure. If you're buying on Lake Keowee, call Melanie.

Fantastic experience: When it came time to sell my parents' home in Keowee Key in 2026, my parents, my sister, and I carefully evaluated several realtors. Choosing Melanie Fink was one of the best decisions we made. My parents had relocated out of state, and I served as the family's point person from across the country. This allowed my parents to focus on the next chapter of their lives and provided tremendous stress relief during an emotional transition. Melanie and I worked closely together, and she made us feel like someone local was looking after our best interests throughout. Melanie did far more than list the home. She coordinated contractors, repairs, inspections, lawn maintenance, deck power washing, deep cleaning, new carpet, and countless other details that kept everything moving. Her market expertise was equally impressive—we received a full-price offer the very first day the home went on the market. Her follow-through was outstanding, and her calm professionalism kept everything on track through a smooth, on-time closing. After working with Melanie, it's easy to understand why she's so highly regarded in Keowee Key. She combines deep market knowledge with genuine care for her clients. I recommend her without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: We recently listed and sold our house on Lake Keowee using Melanie Fink as our listing agent. She went above and beyond getting all the details arranged to make the sale as stressless as possible for us. Not only was she our agent she quickly became our friend and even found time in her busy schedule to just sit and chat with us from time to time. We highly recommend her services and will use her and her wonderful staff again if the need should arise. She is “simply the best”.

Fantastic experience: Incredible work ethic and really knows her stuff. Recommended!

Fantastic experience: Our experience with Melanie was flawless! I have purchased many homes and this was the easiest transaction. Melanie is incredibly organized and has resources for anything you can think of. I can't imagine a better realtor in the area!

Fantastic experience: We couldn't have been more pleased with the experience we had working with Melanie Fink during the listing, sale and closing of our home on Lake Keowee area. From the very beginning, she provided exceptional guidance, professionalism, and attention to detail. Melaine's stong negatiation skills helped us navigate every step of the process with confidence. Her and her team went abo e and beyond in preparing our home for the market. We are truly grateful for the dedicaton, honesty, and personal attention we received. Meliane truly is the "Queen of Lake Keowee"!

Fantastic experience: Melanie was amazing and far superior to our buyer’s agent we used when buying the home where she was the listing agent! Melanie demonstrated incredible professionalism and follow through on answering questions with the seller of the home we purchased on Lake Keowee in Oct 2024. Her incredible attention to detail and post-sale engagement has impact at us greatly! Very classy. At the one year mark of our closing date, the buyer’s agent we used “talked the talk” about treating us as a relationship, and not as a transaction. However, it was MELANIE who “walked the walk!” As the listing agent, (NOT our buyer’s agent) she sent us a one-year heartfelt congratulatory note in the mail! Of course nothing heard from our buyers agent. Thanks Melanie! YOU ARE AWESOME SAUCE!

Fantastic experience: Melanie is a fabulous realtor! I cannot recommend her more highly! She was diligent in meeting our detailed goals, giving us great advice, always accessible and always a wonderful guide. If you need a realtor for your dream home- I would not hesitate to call on Melanie and will recommend her highly to any of my friends going forward.

Fantastic experience: Melanie Fink is THE BEST! She has guided us through this moving process so skillfully, keeping us at ease through constant encouragement and support! She and Ashtyn have made this a very positive, memorable experience. And we are very grateful. We would not hesitate to use her again.

Fantastic experience: Through our positions at our previous Homeowners Association, we have periodically worked with Melanie Fink over the last 15 years. She always showed great integrity and the buyers and sellers who used her services always had positive things to say about her. Due to our family growing, we began to think about possibly looking for a larger home or at least wanted to see what was out there. When Melanie opened the door to greet us at one of the first homes we wanted to see, we knew instantly we were a match. After actively searching for about 6 months, Melanie led us to the home that checked every box we hoped for. She then did everything possible to help us make that dream a reality. Her network of connections helped greatly with the entire process of purchasing the new home and selling our existing home. She and her staff are highly knowledgeable and very responsive. From the negotiations all the way to the final closing, acting as a dual agent on both transactions, Melanie has shown great patience, integrity, professionalism, and above all kindness and friendship. Now that we are moved in and settled, we look forward to seeing Melanie around town and to continuing to build that friendship.

Fantastic experience: Melanie is a true professional. She not only knows her business, she is adept at reading people. Melanie Fink is the best of the best in real estate. You'd be crazy to work with anyone else.

Fantastic experience: We have known Melanie for almost 10 years and she has helped us purchase 2 different places on Lake Keowee. She is extremely knowledgeable and provides great advice/feedback throughout the entire process. We would highly recommend Melanie for your real estate needs.

Fantastic experience: It was a pleasure working with Melanie and her team. Their attention to detail and professionalism made our transaction much easier. I look forward to being on the other side of the table in the future.

Fantastic experience: Melanie was excellent in every phase of selling from visiting ahead of time, recommending people to help with needed repairs, and every step of the actual selling. She even found the perfect buyers. She exceeded every expectation.

Fantastic experience: We work with Melanie frequently. She and Ashtyn are wonderful! They are always polite, responsive, and professional. We highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Melanie was terrific! She was super responsive, always returned my calls and emails, ... and never hesitated to follow up and prod those who needed prodding. She was a delight to work with and I look forward to working with her in the future.

Fantastic experience: Melanie Fink was amazing to work with. She goes the extra mile. The photography and description was amazing for our listing. She personally worked with me 4 hours to stage our house. She was so personable. Her communication was above and beyond. Our home was sold after the first showing. Highly recommend Melanie to get your home sold!

Fantastic experience: We cannot say enough great things about Melanie! She took us from “Keowee 1.0” all the way to purchasing the perfect home on the lake. Honest, knowledgeable, personable, friendly and patient. Truly the best!

Fantastic experience: When we decided to move closer to our daughter, we contacted Melanie about being our buyer's agent for a home we were considering. She not only pointed out some serious issues with that house, but recommended another home in the same price range that was ten times better in every respect. She went far above our expectations to get us in our new home. Malanie's friendliness, professionalism, and competence as a relator is beyond reproach. Jim & Karen Chambers

Fantastic experience: Working with Melanie Fink when selling your home is a wonderful experience. She has a wealth of knowledge, particularly in the Lake Keowee area. We found Melanie to be extremely professional, helping us make good decisions as we worked our way through the process of listing our home, preparing it for sale, and showing the house. Melanie has an extensive network of people that she works with. This was extremely helpful when completing final preparations after we sold the house. From hauling away unneeded items to painting to general clean-up of the house and garage, she provided us with excellent resources. Melanie became our friend and was a calming influence when we had concerns. If we were planning to buy a home again in that area, she would be the person we would contact. Thank you to Melanie and her team!! You are the best!!

Fantastic experience: Melanie is very professional and knowledgeable and has great advice in all stages of the process! She has a wealth of experience in the Keowee market and was super helpful every step of the way! I would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Well, Melanie had me coming and going. She found the lake house I bought 13 years ago, which wasn't yet on the market, and she handled the sale in 2023. Melanie is the best agent operating at Lake Keowee. She is extremely knowledgeable about the lake properties, has strong organization and negotiation skills, and is simply a go-getter. She also has extensive and great contacts to handle things such as any needed repairs to the property, removal of furnishings, cleaning, etc., which was quite valuable to me as an out-of-state seller. I highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: It is with pleasure that I write this recommendation for Melanie Fink. During the whole process of marketing and selling my house she was as professional and knowledgeable as any realtor I ever dealt with. In this particular transaction had it not been for her connections with Oconee County Building Codes I never would have been able to sell my house. She went above and beyond the normal responsibilities of a realtor by actually helping with the cleaning of the house and assisting my builder by giving him names of workers when he could not find anyone. Needless to say, I picked the wrong builder but the right realtor. She turned what could have been a nightmare into a pleasurable ending. If the highest rating for a realtor is 10 then I give her an 11.

Fantastic experience: Melanie was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her. Very professional and a good agent.

Fantastic experience: Melanie worked with my mom every step of the way to list and sell her house (very quickly) in Keowee Key. My mother was so happy working with Melanie and her assistant Katie, and we all felt so confident in her advice and assistance in getting everything completed. My mom has already told all her friends about Melanie.

Fantastic experience: I have been in the housing Buisness most of my professional career. Worked with national builders as well as general brokerage Real Estate. Melanie and her associates did an outstanding job handling the marketing and sale of my Lake Property. I would highly recommend her and definitely have her sell my homes in the future.

Fantastic experience: Melanie was great to work with! Very friendly and personal, yet professional as well. She and her assistant Katie were on top of everything and always available when needed. Overall, we had a wonderful experience listing and selling our home with Melanie.

Fantastic experience: Melanie went way over and beyond to assist us getting our home ready to list. We were out of state due to a family emergency, we reached out to Melanie and her team and they took it upon themselves to get out home prepped to go on the market. Our neighbor had given Melanie a glowing review and I couldn't agree more. If I ever needed a realtor in this area Melanie is the one I'd select. If you are looking to select one you should too...

Fantastic experience: As a NC/SC Broker myself, I chose Melanie Fink to represent us at the lake, and my husband and I are so glad that we did! Melanie is extremely professional and works hard to provide excellent client service. Melanie did a competitive market analysis of our property, quickly implemented a multi-media marketing plan and got it listed and in front of potential buyers in a timely fashion. As a result, our property sold for above the suggested listing price of other Brokers we interviewed to list our property! We would unconditionally recommend Melanie to anyone who is looking to buy or sell on the Lake.

Fantastic experience: We are so pleased with the amazing and comprehensive service we received from realtor Melanie Fink. She made the buying process smooth and enjoyable. Melanie handled all our questions and made us feel assured during each step of the process. She is a seasoned professional who we would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Melanie did an exceptional job for us once again!! This is the second time we have used her very knowledgeable services as our real estate agent. I can truly say that each time Melanie went above and beyond to ensure the purchase transactions went smoothly and efficiently as possible. Just for added pressure, most recently, we were under a huge time constraint to choose and close on a house. She and her assistant Katie kicked into overdrive to make this process as smooth and easy for us as possible. Melanie and team are very pleasant and caring to work with and makes time out of her very busy schedule to give personalize attention to each and every one of your questions. You can tell that she truly cares about her customers!

Fantastic experience: Melanie and team jumped right in and made it happen from that very first call. Full price offer and multiple offers in a matter of days. Thanks for the great communication and quick follow up!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I just closed on a property at Lake Keowee with the help of Melanie Fink, and she was AMAZING! At our first meeting, she took the time to ask lots of questions and really get to know our family and understand our interests. Since she's been working in this area for many years, she was able to provide insights about HOA restrictions, the local construction market and even budget assistance. Our closing went about as smoothy as I've ever experienced. I strongly and unequivocally recommend Melanie and her team to anyone who is looking for a realtor! Mark R New Orleans, LA

Fantastic experience: If you want to work with someone who will exceed your expectations then look no further than Melanie Fink. There is a reason why Melanie is #1 in her company and the local MLS. Don’t be fooled by her pleasant and easy going personality. Her years of experience have made her wise, strategic and she lacks nothing in negotiating skills. Her professionalism and people skills in addition to a well trained team of support staff provided us with a quick and smooth closing. She went above and beyond in placing our interests above her own, a very rare trait that did not go unnoticed. Agents of her caliber are few and far between! Dave & Sheree

Fantastic experience: We first met Melanie in 2005 when she helped us purchase a home. We had such an amazing experience with her that we continue to return to her for our real estate transactions. Melanie is kind, honest, professional, and efficient. She is willing to go above and beyond to ensure that her clients are comfortable, informed, and that the interests of her clients are sufficiently represented. Her assistant Katie is fantastic as well. Melanie's team worked with our finance company to make the purchase process seamless and stress-free. You will not regret working with Melanie and her team - they are amazing!

Fantastic experience: Melanie, we appreciate your help and professionalism with our recent lot sale. Everything went smoothly. Many thanks, Pete & Valerie

Fantastic experience: Melanie Thank you for the incredible service you provided recently selling my home. When we met in 2015 when I was looking to purchase a home on Lake Keowee the experience turned out so good I didn’t give it another thought when I decided to sell and called you. Talk about a complete selling experience from listing to closing it was the best I’ve ever had and I have bought and sold more than 20 homes in the past 45 years. Your communication and attention to detail is fantastic. Every showing was followed up and communicated to me immediately. When I needed help with a few small repairs you took over and had everything fixed and completed in record time. If someone needs help buying or selling a home in your marketing area my advice would be “ Don’t think twice, make the call to Melanie and let her work her magic”. With much respect! Larry

Fantastic experience: Melanie Fink became our realtor after an unsuccessful engagement with another realtor. She did a professional job improving the marketing presence of our home and securing a qualified buyer in a short period of time, despite market fluctuations. She was always available for questions; her team was solid and efficient. She has an excellent business acumen and it shows in the way she manages the expectations of seller and potential buyers. We always enjoyed our conversations with her .. she gets the job done! We highly recommend her. (Wayne and Debbie Stoia)

Fantastic experience: From the first time I met Melanie I knew she was unique - special. We were selling a different house, and Melanie was not our realtor. We were not having the experience we had hoped for, and I needed some advice. I had a friend that had used Melanie and was extremely happy with her work, so I called her to see if she would talk to me. She not only talked to me but came to my house and listened to my dilemma. She advised me as she would a friend and never once backed away from answering my questions. i knew without a doubt that if we every sold or bought a house in the future, I would be calling Melanie. And that is exactly what I did. We listed our most recent house the first week of September this year and accepted an offer on day 4. Melanie also helped us purchase our next home. She and her assistant, Katie, did everything they could possibly do to make both transactions go smoothly. They walked along beside us every step of the way. I feel so blessed to be able to say that we went into this as realtor and client but came out the other side as friends. I hope I am now in my forever home, but if not, I will be calling Melanie and Katie!

Fantastic experience: As residents of Georgia, in 2009, we began looking for a lake house on Keowee and had the good fortune of receiving a referral to Melanie Fink. Because this was our first experience with a vacation home, we proceeded slowly. We found Melanie to not only be patient and informative, but as we spent time looking, Melanie became not only our realtor but our friend. She is extremely knowledgeable of the Upstate area and was able to steer us in the right direction. She has excellent negotiating skills, and by the time we closed on our lake house, we were thrilled with the outcome. Since that time, she has helped us buy an investment property, a property that will be our retirement home and sell the lake house that provided us and our family with many wonderful memories. We cannot recommend Melanie highly enough, and we are grateful to consider her a friend as well as our definite go-to for real estate needs.

Fantastic experience: Melanie handled our process very professionally and with utmost understanding . From the first day until the closing, we felt like we were working with a daughter, not an agent. We loved her to pieces.

Fantastic experience: Melanie's reputation speaks for itself. She is consistently among the highest producers in the Upstate. Great communicator, high energy, and a perfect reputation. We are pleased to be working with her.

Fantastic experience: We are beyond fortunate to have met Melanie and had her help with finding our forever home on the lake. You WILL NOT find a more skilled realtor in the area who will always have your best interests in mind. She will now be helping us to find a home for grammy. Melanie is the only choice on Keowee.

Fantastic experience: Melanie is a great realtor and we highly recommend her for any of your real estate needs. We have worked with Melanie through four real estate transactions and everything was great with all of them. Melanie is a very hard working and professional agent and knows how to make things happen. We would trust her with any real estate needs. Thank you Melanie for all your hard work. Terry and Jan

Fantastic experience: I have sold 3 properties with Melanie as my agent and she is fantastic. Extremely hard working and diligent, always finding solutions for any issues that came up during the process. She provided frequent updates throughout, so we always knew what was going on. Would definitely recommend to others and I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Fantastic experience: Anyone would be lucky to have Melanie as their real-estate agent! We recently bought a house with her help and she has been one of the best agents I have ever worked with. She really advocates for her clients and goes above and beyond. We purchased a property from out of state and from start to finish she has helped us navigate a new market, coordinate repairs/inspections and made the entire process easy. In this competitive market it is essential to have an agent who knows what they are doing! I will definitely work with her on our future home purchases. Happy House Hunting

Fantastic experience: Melanie Fink was a pleasure to work with in the sale of our Keowee Key home. She is knowledgeable and priced our home for a quick sale. I highly recommend her. She answered all our questions quickly and supported us through the process.

Fantastic experience: Kudos to Melanie fink for making the selling of my mom's house so easy. Her listing of the house with it's properties, in description and pictures were above expectation. While needing to return to our home state of MI she made herself easily accessible every step of the way, through phone calls, texts, and emails. She is a top notch realtor and we highly recommend Melanie for all your real estate needs.

Fantastic experience: Melanie is hands down the best Realtor! Her expertise was so helpful in both the sale of our home as well as the purchase of our new home. She has the experience and know how to make one of the most stressful processes as smooth as possible. A true "Realtor Fairy Godmother".

Fantastic experience: Melanie Fink is AWESOME. She recently helped us purchase the Lake Keowee house of our dreams, at the price we were looking for, and managed to get the house under contract within the first couple of hours, eliminating the competition. THANK YOU MELANIE.

Fantastic experience: We have used Melanie to sell two of our investment homes. She did a great job while other realtors just want to list and let another realtor sell.

Fantastic experience: Melanie is the best! We have been dealing with this truly professional broker for over 15 years.

Fantastic experience: Melanie made the selling process of our piece of property as painless as possible. She is very outgoing and can connect easily with her clients. In addition, her knowledge of the area, and of the process involved is outstanding. If I needed to know something, she always responded. Her bubbly personality and calm demeanor kept us sane during the entire process. Should we ever think of buying upstate again, Melanie will be the one we call.

Fantastic experience: Melanie was a joy to work with! Her attention to detail, "let's get it done now" attitude and friendly, accommodating personality made the entire process, from purchase to sale of our lake cottage, a breeze! We would definitely work with her again!

Fantastic experience: Melanie was recommended by a friend as she described changes that Melanie suggested to show the house better. I have very high standards and expectations especially after hearing my friend's positive experience. Melanie actually exceeded my these expectations in the entire process. She is very professional, courteous, organized but firm when need be. And my beautiful house looked even better when Melanie moved things and fixed bedspread just so! Melanie was on top of everything that needed to get done to complete the process. Rarely do I give 5 stars to anything (restaurant reviews, etc.) but without any hesitations am giving Melanie 5 stars because she earned it.

Fantastic experience: Melanie did a great job for us. Unfortunately we needed to sell our Lake Keowee retirement home lot, and we were concerned about getting our money back out of this recent purchase. When I interviewed realtors, Melanie was the most aggressive on pricing, but made a compelling case for her recommendation. Then she got it on the market quickly and it was under contract for just under the asking price in 5 days. While our time working with Melanie was short (a good thing), she communicated well throughout. She really was on top of things. If you have real estate needs in this part of the Upstate, you should look her up.

Fantastic experience: Melanie was a joy to work with!! She is very knowledgeable and an expert in real estate! Anytime I called with questions or concerns, she responded promptly and kindly! Her expertise was very much appreciated as she staged our home to get it ready for pictures! I would highly recommend Melanie Fink!

Fantastic experience: Melanie was the ultamate professional in regards to real estate tranactions and was exceptional at handling the details to keep the deal moving. Also has a wealth of knowledge in regard to all sides within the deal. Great experience overall!

Fantastic experience: We cannot say enough about Melanie! From our first interaction to the closing, Melanie was there for us no matter the time or day of the week. Melanie is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the Lake Keowee area and had the answers to any questions we threw at her. You will not regret choosing Melanie for your real estate needs.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful service Very hard working professional

Fantastic experience: We have worked with Melanie now on two purchases (a lake cottage and recently, lake property) and could not be more pleased. She is always available, thorough, and knowledgeable. During our interactions we have developed a tremendous trust in her judgement and guidance, as well. We would highly recommend her for any real estate needs.

Fantastic experience: I can't imagine Susan met with the same Melanie my husband and I had the pleasure of working with on our hunt for a lakefront lot in which to build our home. We were shopping all the way from California and she made herself available for every ridiculous question we had throughout the process (believe me, there were MANY). Every time we reached out via phone call/text/email she was quick to answer our questions, reassure us throughout the process, and never made us feel she was inconvenienced by our questions. She spent the better part of a day with us when we came out to walk some lots we were interested in, and even showed us some we had not considered (which is ultimately what led us to the lot we decided on). Melanie even indulged us in tromping around lots that had not been cleared. Bottom line: she made sure we were taken care of and she made the process fun too. :) Can we give 10 stars?

Fantastic experience: Melanie is absolutely wonderful to work with. It’s like having a friend on the “inside” that is working for you. She really cares about her clients as well as the community she lives in. She is incredibly knowledgeable and takes so much time with you. She worked so diligently to make the deal happen for us. She also has great connections that she recommends from repair people to contractors and everyone in between. 11 out of 10

Fantastic experience: Melanie is nice and a true professional. Thank you for being there.

Fantastic experience: I have to assume that Susan met someone else and reviewed the wrong person! Anyone who knows and has had the opportunity to be represented by Melanie, is highly impressed with her professionalism. Melanie has represented us in more than one transaction and even though the market is insanely busy, she still made us feel like we were her only client. Her communication is excellent and we appreciated her guidance and expertise. Let's be clear... it isn't about money because one of our transactions was a $20,000 lot. Melanie is personable, caring, and treats you like she'd treat a family member. We met Melanie in 2017 when she sold our Lake Keowee home. She knows the area like no one, she brought the right buyers and sold it very quickly. I recommend Melanie constantly and would use her for ALL of my real estate needs in the future. She is also highly awarded in South Carolina and in the Upstate. She earned every one of those awards!

Fantastic experience: Not sure what Susan is talking about. We were looking for a lake house and couldn't find what we wanted in a house. Melanie helped us find a lake lot so we can build the house we wanted. She helped us all the way through the process and still answers questions after we closed. Sounds like Susan is the problem not Melanie.

Fantastic experience: Melanie has helped us buy and sell several Lake Keowee properties. We’re now in the lakehouse of our dreams, and she helped us get it before it ever went on the market. She’s well-connected, and she knows the business. I highly recommend her to others!

Negative experience: Worst agent ever. We were looking to relocate from Florida. She was rude to both of us on several occasions. We called her out on and got a half of an apology at best. Very disrespectful and better then you attitude. Melanie is fake and cares only about herself. Did not properly handle any part of our offer. Her communication skills were very unprofessional and she will pre-judge you. If she thinks you don’t have money she will put you on the back burner. We have never been disrespected by any realtor like we were with her. She should be ashamed of herself! Worst experience ever.

Fantastic experience: I like her.
