Negative experience: I initially was referred to, Top Property Shop and gave a stellar review, as a request from Mike. I was a tenant for 7 years and being that I was low maintenance tenant, everything was great. It went sour in 2021 and dealing with Mike, the owner, became a nightmare and he was completely unresponsive. When I moved out, he never even initiated a walk thorough with me, but he certainly did with the owner of the condo I rented. As a property manager, the tenants interest should also be represented. It made it super easy to edit this review, especially after reading the passive aggressive and condescending comments that this company reponds to when people give poor reviews. That truly says a lot about the The company. A reputable company would never respond with such an unprofessional manner. Can't wait to read the response to this!

Throughout my time with them, they have been fantastic to work with and consistently responsive to any issues that arose. Maintenance requests were rare, as the home was exceptionally well-maintained, and their online portal made rent payments simple and convenient. I highly recommend Top Property Shop to anyone seeking a reliable and high-quality property management company.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with TOP Property Shop for close to a decade. The reason I continue to work with them is their reliability, professionalism, and quality. I have purchased two houses with them, utilized their rental management services (which I HIGHLY recommend), and am working on a third now. They are always great to work with, give me strong advice, and make sure I'm well taken care of. I will be using them for the foreseeable future for all of my now many real estate needs.

Negative experience: They’re in the business for money. They do not treat people with dignity and respect. Avoid them at all cost.

Negative experience: I wish I could give 0 stars. I leased a home through TOP Property Shop, and from day one, it was an experience filled with frustration and disappointment. In the first few days alone, we discovered that essential repairs had not been completed before our move-in, such as a missing pipe that left us without water access for basic needs. After countless calls (at least 20 attempts) to TOP Property Shop, we only received a delayed response, forcing us to fix the pipe ourselves so that our family, including children, could have access to running water. The initial condition of the home was far below acceptable standards. Despite our attempts to report these issues, including through the official damage form provided at move-in, these significant issues went unresolved. The problems included: 1. Filthy conditions upon move-in. 2. Broken and missing closet doors in multiple rooms. 3. Malfunctioning and misaligned locks, compromising security. 4. Major damage to wooden floors. 5. Broken electrical outlets in half of the home. 6. Dismissive responses from maintenance contracted, who would routinely tell us to call back when they had their schedule. We found ourselves repeatedly handling repairs out of pocket, with no support or reimbursement from the agency. The lack of communication and customer service was beyond disappointing—it felt outright negligent. We felt trapped in the lease because breaking it wasn’t an option for us, and stability was a priority for my family. To top it off, when we reluctantly renewed the lease out of necessity, the agency responded with a flippant, “Thank you for the lease renewal,” which only underscored the lack of care or accountability from TOP Property Shop. If you’re considering leasing with this agency, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere to avoid the frustration, cost, and poor treatment.

Communicating through the online portal was fast and easy. As a former landlord I know what it is like working with tenants and appreciate your promptness and professionalism.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I have had to work with top property shop longer than I would like to, using the portal supplied and trying to get in contact with them is so difficult The response time is days later, to try to call they never answer, I have been fined numerous times for outrageous reasons and things that were damaged to the property before I moved in, like a screen door that was leaning up against the back porch that was there before I moved in and quite some time after I moved in and I was fined $75 after maybe a year later because of it! I don’t even want to put a work order in i I would rather pay somebody to come out and do it to avoid having to work with them And you’ll get fined a $65 fee if you are not home when maintenance shows up or you cancel within an hour, but then you don’t get notifications from the maintenance guy until they’re already there or you end up waiting around because they do not respond when you put a work order in for a specific time, there’s much more but honestly I’m done here I never liked renting before and I definitely hate it now, this experience has just been Time and time again disappointing. Zero stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: When I first came to hire Top Property Shop I was in a very difficult situation because the renters were family members. The management company was very professional and compassionate regarding my sensitive situation. They went over and beyond their job duties by supporting me at court hearings and by prepping a home with a security system due to the home being vandalized. They were prompt to answer and return my phone calls quickly. I was amazed at how quickly the home was rented (1 or 2 days on the market max) and could not ask for a better management team! This Top Property Shop Management knows what they are doing and how to get the job done! I am very pleased with my experience and would highly recommend them.

Years later he became my broker and assisted me with several transactions when I was a buyer's agent. Last year I leased one of his rental properties. Mike quickly responded to a few repair requests and had those requests repaired very quickly. You could not find a nicer, friendlier and truly professional real estate agent/broker to work with in whatever real estate needs you may have.
