When we were looking for a home in the area for our daughter, we turned to him for help with the process. He was very responsive when we wanted to look at a home, even when it was last minute and a bit of a drive. He has assembled a team that coordinates the loan approval, home inspection, and closing aspects efficiently, making it easy for us as the buyers. I must add that we needed to complete much of this process remotely, and he and his team were able to facilitate the process via distance means. Fantastic experience: We had a rather unusual property to have to place on the market. We interviewed two realtors. The first realtor came unprepared and with two year old comps. His price assessment was about $25,000 less than we were figuring as an asking price. There was no followup from him. We then contacted Tim Thompson. What a difference in professionalism. Tim took his time, came prepared. It was obvious Tim has his finger on the pulse of this market. He knew exactly how to market our property, the exact price point. In fact, we put the house on the market on Tuesday and sold it on Thursday for asking. Actually we had two asking price offers and requests for two back up offers. The buyers must have been as impressed with Tim as they used him as their agent. Tim's keen ability to work with the buyer and the seller made for a smooth transaction. Negative experience: Tim Thompson as a listing agent did not represent us well , the buyers. He worked for the seller, and it was our mistake not to go to the closing. Problems with the house were not disclosed to us, as we found out when we moved in; for exemple there was no adequate heat working; just one of the numerous undisclosed problems...and there are many more. We put too much trust in Tim but he was just a sale's man under the appearance of a friend! I am very disappointed in him.

Positive experience: Tim knew how to sell our home quickly and was sensitive to our needs as sellers. Questions were addressed immediately--communication was exemplary.

Negative experience: We have roaches in our apartment. I called MKB to have it taken care of. And guess what they say they will look into it and its been 3 weeks I have called multiple times in between and they have not returned my calls. I will publically denounce MKB for as long as I live. And me and my family will never have any dealings with them after our lease is up.
