Negative experience: Very unethical, unprofessional. He was the listing agent for a house we put in an offer for, at asking. Apparently that wasn't good enough. House ended up selling for below asking. Go figure.

Fantastic experience: Whitney Estep at Keller Williams JC was truly wonderful to work with while searching for some mountain acreage for retirement. After contacting various other agents about their listings (properties primarily in Carter and Unicoi counties), we grew increasingly frustrated and discouraged by the lack of follow through to get even basic information. Months into our search we contacted Whitney about a property and we happily discovered that was not the case with her as her communication and support has been exemplary. It still took a while to find the perfect spot but she was constantly updating us with new listings that looked appealing and helped us find the perfect spot for us that met all our needs and wants. We are super excited to be moving back to TN soon!

Negative experience: Corey tittle gave us a terrible experience being first time buyers. We put an offer in on a house we could live without and we were the only offer they had in 45 days. He advised us to void the inspection because we “needed leverage” and we would get a usda inspection which is “basically the same”. He didn’t negotiate closing costs and just told us we had to pay it all (9300$). And when I asked about getting an inspection later he says we couldn’t add an addendum to the contract which wasn’t true. I have heard nothing but the same experience after the fact from my clients, people in his field, the inspector that we hired after the purchase ect. We now have a home that needs a new roof, mold and electrical problems because we “needed leverage”. Yes I’m sure I sound ignorant on the buying process until now, but that is because I was the first time buyer and he was supposed to be the professional but he just wanted a check. He even told me after the fact “he figured I would have just known more about how it worked being that I own a barbershop”??? I would definitely not recommend Corey tittle to even check my mail, much less sell my house or help me buy one!

DeAnne has was responsive but not overbearing, extremely professional but friendly and exceedingly personable, very knowledgeable but down to earth. There was some back and forth with our buyers but DeAnne handled it masterfully, so much so to the point that we never really had to worry about it because she handled everything so well. While we don't want to have to buy or sell another house anytime soon, there isn't anyone that I would rather work with over DeAnne.
