Our first search started with the Realtor Jeff Hancock as so many friends recommended him in the Stafford/Fredericksburg area! He was so great and enthusiastic for us. Fantastic experience: We highly recommend Jeff to anyone buying a home! Jeff made our process so easy that we literally kept saying that things were going too smoothly to be true! When we met Jeff, we informed him that we were first time homebuyers and had mission impossible for him. We told him we weren’t in a hurry, but wanted to find a house downtown with a yard. We also said that we were okay with some minor repairs but didn’t want a total renovation. To make his job even harder we gave him a tight budget that most people said we were dreaming with. We started the process in February and by September we found the perfect starter home in downtown Fredericksburg with everything on our checklist. Over the months, Jeff would check in with us to see if we wanted to go see any houses but never pressured us. We were so picky that we only went to 3 houses! When we went to see houses, Jeff pointed out anything that was concerning to him and made suggestions that we would eventually would want to update or fix. This of course was amazing because we had no idea what we were doing, other than what we saw on HGTV. Haha!
