Fantastic experience: Excellent service

Negative experience: I’m quite surprised to read such reviews about Dean because unfortunately we didn’t have a very good experience with him. Dean was dishonest, and didn’t communicate appropriately at all. He “accidentally” sent our realtor an email to say our offer was accepted and 3 days later said he’d made a mistake and the email was meant for someone else… We then negotiated at a higher price and the offer was accepted and contracts drawn up. Upon arranging the inspection Dean was MIA and we had communication from the sellers solicitor to say our contracts were cancelled. No explanation was given and Dean didn’t even have the decency to email our realtor or respond to his emails or phone calls. The house finally sold today and we came to know it was for a mere $15,000 more than our offer. This made me really upset and i thought it was only right to let everyone know how our experience was with him. Dean was not professional and will put us off any future property if he’s the realtor

Fantastic experience: Jen was amazing. She helped us find a short term rental and then a home to purchase. She was diligent in helping us find a home that was perfect for our needs. She answered all of our questions, was always available and gave us honest opinions. She listened to what was important to us and did not try to push us into buying something that wasn’t perfect.

Fantastic experience: Pete was great to work with on the sale of my condo. As a remote owner, Pete was able to handle all of the details involving the sale of the property and was super responsive to me, the prior tenants, the new buyers, and everyone else. He was able to quickly find resolutions and competently and fairly handle any concerns or issues that came up to make the process move forward smoothly for everyone. Pete's a straight shooter who's super easy to work with and knows how to get the deal done!

Negative experience: In December 2020 my husband and I put in an offer on a house where Dean was representing the sellers. Dean verbally communicated that the sellers has accepted our offer and proceeded to drag us along for several days over the holidays, stating the sellers were still prepared to move forward with the deal but were sick and unable to sign the offer. To be honest that should have been a red flag, but I didn’t realize how unprofessional Dean was to blatantly lie for days on end. After several days of this, Dean told us that they had signed another offer. While I understand that the sellers had a right to choose a more competitive offer, if Dean had been truthful to begin with we would have been willing to increase our offer. Our realtor was mortified with his unethical and unprofessional behavior, as were we. We went on to buy a considerably more expensive home and disregarded any listing represented by Dean Tubekis. 10/10 would not recommend.
