Fantastic experience: So easy with Alayne! Alayne was the realtor that reached out to me when looking for an apartment for my octogenarian mom. She was so kind and patient when working with my mom (and me), that I can't thank her enough. When it came time to sell my moms home, I asked her is she would be interested in representing us and she said she'd love to. My point to that statement is; she didnt pressure us to work with her, at all, during the apartment search. Her kindness, compassion and patience "sold" me on her! I've dealt with a few other realtors over the past 10 years, and I can tell you, they were more focused on themselves than on me, as the client. Alayne focuses in YOU and what you may need or want. Everything was easy with Alayne. Alayne has great market knowledge, her communications were always clear (and easy to understand) and she was always available to answer a question, provide insight and was just "there" to be a calming voice when I may have been on the edge. Denise is a professional but will also have you feel like a family member is guiding you and helping you through the process of making one of the biggest decisions you’ll ever making in your life. She is knowledgeable and a straight up, boss! She was my biggest advocate during the closing process and make sure to look out for my best interest in advocate on my behalf. I recommend Denise to help you find your home and keep the process as smooth as humanly possible. My only recommendation that I can make looking back on things as use her team! After almost 2 years of following the market in the Rockaway area from our home across the country, the ideal condo that we had been waiting for was for sale. We had to get a competitive bid to the seller who wanted to make a decision quickly. We had to adjust our bid twice to stay competitive, and Julia was there for us during this crucial 24 hour period. Negative experience: Had peter skolsky as a buyers agent.. I cannot think of a more useless person in this entire transaction. Arrogant, doesn't respond , At no point did I feel like this guy or his agency had my back or my best interests in their mind. Working with him and one of the other agents ( whom I had to fire) in his agency makes you wonder why people need a real estate agent at all. His representation was so utterly useless that I'm convinced I dont need an agent for my next deal. For that... I would I like to thank him and his agency for giving me the confidence that my next deal can happen smoothly without the help of an agent Response: 10/20/20 The above review was specifically and exclusively referring to the bad experience I had, with the 2 realtors at Century 21 Christel Realty. I was so disappointed with their representation, that I would have changed my buyer’s agency in the middle of this transaction, if it was legal to do so. His agent was fired because of unprofessional behavior, harassment by phone calls/texts and trying to influence the outcome of inspection, of which I have ample evidence. The broker took over and turned out to be predominantly, a mute spectator to all the heavy lifting that was being done by me and the attorney. I could have really used some guidance while navigating this transaction and had to use the help of my friends/family, as the times we did reach out to this broker for advice- he could not be bothered to return our texts/voicemail. He always seemed to have an excuse, to not show up at the home that he was "helping me buy". I give this group zero credit for the "instant equity" that he’s talking about. His team had absolutely nothing to do with it. In fact, If I had listened to them, I would have overpaid for the home by several thousand dollars. I find it laughable that post closing, they are actually sending promotional flyers to my home and possibly other homes in the area claiming that they 'sold' this home- when they are actually buyers agents. I just selected them through random calling on realtor.com. I have great respect for the both real estate agents and supporting personnel in the real estate community who actually provide some tangible value to their clients. I am extremely fortunate to have some of them in my life as family and friends. I have received and continue to receive valuable advice from them. Was hoping for similar experience from this agency, but that did not happen. Basically, I made it to the closing table despite them, not because of them. 11/5/20. copy pasting their responses which are lies, just like all other statements in their response - "I will continue to reach out to Mr. Kapoor in an effort to address his feelings and repair his negative perception of the real estate community and his feelings of animosity towards other supporting personnel in this industry. - P. Skolsky" "Going forward, we will try our best to repair our relationship with him and restore his perspective of the real estate community as a whole. - F. Papasso" Number of times they have actually reached to "repair and restore my perspective of real estate community as a whole" since closing or since me posting review = (expectedly) zero. Only thing that needs repair ,is their perception of the value they actually bring to their clients.

Negative experience: The whole company is a joke. When I spoke on the phone with someone I got an attitude. I couple days later, I spoke with someone different and was disrespected and spoken down to. Took my interest elsewhere.

Negative experience: I’ve never had such a bad experience with a real estate company. I worked with Pat Macgowan on a particular property. He was extremely rude, has poor communication skills and was disrespectful. Regardless of whether a deal works out or not having a personable agent who represents your side of the deal is very important and I didn’t get that here. Wouldn’t even give them a one star if I could.

Negative experience: I wouldn't give them one star but the site won't allow me to post without one.This Realty sucks!!!!!!!!!!! I had to call the Board of Realtors Commission on Mr. Louise Sarrell, the Realtor doesn't return calls nor does he close on time. I had 4 closing dates in 5 months and still didn't close. I tried calling the Broker, whom was in the office and he didn't want to talk to me so I left a message. Let's see how long it takes for him to return calls.
