Fantastic experience: For over fifteen years, Crestmont Realty managed my family's properties and represented us in the sale of same. Christy Ward, and her mother Carolyn Crane before her, took exceptional care of us and successfully met our every need, no matter how complicated. Astute, skilled and trustworthy, they and their staff were also personable and sensitive. I will always be grateful for how they treated myself and my dad with kindness and watched over us.

Fantastic experience: Crestmont was an extraordinarily helpful and professional realty team to work with. I leased a property from them in Coronado for a couple of years, and they were extremely responsive and informative for any questions or issues that I had. The apartment was beautiful with very few issues encountered throughout my stay. I worked with Olivia the most, and she was very kind and assisted me greatly throughout both my move-in and move-out process. I would highly recommend this company to anyone! : )

They took the time to walk through each property in advance and provided a helpful list of items to address, which made the process smoother before showings began. They handled marketing the units, showing the property, and screening prospective tenants, and then coordinated the preparation and signing of the lease agreements and required disclosures to comply with local and state regulations. We are grateful for their responsiveness throughout the process and for helping us successfully place tenants in both homes.

Negative experience: We were looking at renting 914 Tenth Street. Submitted our application plus fees for two people. After providing all of our financials and weeks of chasing after the broker Christy Ward, I was finally told that they could not rent the property due to an undisclosed reason. So much for transparency. Owner of this property now has to lose out on several months rent. We have been renting in Coronado for over three years with a clean rental record. Having just retired from State Department with decades of service to our country the response i received from Cresmont Property Managemet was unexpected. I would encourage both owners and renters to stay away from Cresmont property management. I'll do the same.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Christy, Kara and Olivia for all their professional help in finding us a nice military family to occupy our family home here in Coronado. As we now know, so much has changed in the rental market over the last 4 plus years. It had become somewhat complicated pertaining all the new rules and regulations. Christy and her team met with my brother, and I and went over all the necessary disclosures and forms that needed to be completed. They advertised our family home, vented potential renters and prepared the lease agreement for us. I would like to Thank them all for their patience in helping us out.

Fantastic experience: We have worked with Christy and her staff for several years and cannot give them a higher rating! They are the best; the very best! If you value professionalism, industry knowledge, responsiveness, honesty and integrity chose Crestmont Realty.

Negative experience: By far the worst rental experience we've ever had - anywhere. The house (602 Margarita) was dirty when we arrived and we had someone in the property almost every day to fix something - screen doors, garage doors, smoke detectors, front door lock, etc. The property is in bad condition and the way Crestmont handled it was terrible. We were able to get out of our lease early, but only after threatening mediation. After months of back and forth we received almost all of our money back, even after they tried to leverage a 5 star review for part of our refund. Terrible property, horrible experience. The owner's husband also tried to negotiate a larger deposit refund in exchange for us leaving a 5 star review, which is why you see anything above 1 Star for this place. It took over two months to finally get our full refund back, but that's how bad they are: we took less money to leave an honest review. As an FYI, watch out for ocean water quality because Tijuana dumps raw sewage into the ocean, so the beaches in Coronado and south have been closed frequently. Property management company won't disclose it.

While searching and securing a lease in Coronado, the Crestmont team was the most responsive, professional, and customer service oriented by a mile when compared to any of the six or seven others that I dealt with. When it’s time to find another rental, I will be working through Crestmont first. If I was an owner, I would have Crestmont manage my property. It’s a no brainer.

Fantastic experience: I rented a place with Crestmont Realty in Coronado. I loved the property! It was unique, clean with a great yard and weekly landscaping. The office was always personable, responsive and worked with me when I needed to move earlier than I had intended. What more can I ask for? :) They are a long standing San Diego company and they are very good at what they do. Most of all --they are nice people!

What was even more amazing is the fact we were able to do it while traveling across the country during our move from Ohio to California. All of our concerns/questions were immediately addressed/answered. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend Crestmont Realty and its team of professionals.

Fantastic experience: We rented a condo through Crestmont for 6 weeks on Coronado. Jana helped us from the beginning to the end of the transaction and she was GREAT to work with. My only complaint with the company are odd fees they tuck into the process. Example - they made my wife and I both fill out separate applications. Of course, there is a charge for each one. They also have some odd charges if you want to pay by credit card etc. Other than those things, which they really should get rid of or incorporate into their overall fee, they are a great company. Responsive when setting up the reservation, and responsive throughout our stay to little things that had to be attended to. I recommend them to property owners and to potential guests.

Fantastic experience: There is a reason why Cresmont Realty has nothing but 5 stars, the staff without a doubt goes above and beyond with everything that they do. Moving in and getting settled, each member of the team was very supportive, timely, and concise with all their communication and the entire process before, during and after. I've lived in a variety of different cities and interacted with more than enough Realtors to recognize Cresmont Realty does a lot of things right. Fantastic experience: As a Coronado Resident for the past eight years, I have come to know Crestmont Realty by their excellent reputation. I am pleased to be a tenant of theirs for eight months now. I needed to find a property for my family in Coronado during the summer, a seemingly insurmountable task. During this search, I called on a couple highly-desirable listings during the summer months and kept meeting with the same Crestmont agent, Karen. Not only did I really like the properties, I was very impressed with her and the face she gave to this property manager. During the property tours, we had occasion to encounter many existing tenants who all seemed to know her. It was impressive how she went out of her way to acknowledge these current tenants as well as was very personable and welcoming to me as a prospective tenant during our tours. It reflected very well on Crestmont and made me feel as though this management company would be a good one to consider. My daughter and I are loving our home. Everyone in the office at Crestmont is responsive, professional, and goes above and beyond for their tenants. They make business dealings a breeze. This office is a perfect fit for our little town of Coronado.

Fantastic experience: I lived in one of the properties managed by Crestmont and had a great experience. The staff was prompt to take care of any of my needs and if I move back to the area I would be happy to rent with them again.

Negative experience: renters be aware! Do not expect to get your deposit back! They locked us out from our place on the move out date while we still have our possessions inside. They disconnected the garage and changed the lock while we were moving out. They do not care about laws or their customers at all. They only care about the money. It has been a month since we moved out and no deposit check was sent to our address. Terrible business!
