Fantastic experience: We recently relocated for my husband’s job and found a home listed by Diane DeVries of William Pitt/Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International. At the open house, the sellers told us how much they loved working with her, and we quickly saw why. In just three days, Diane showed us more homes than we could count and immediately understood exactly what we wanted. She went above and beyond, not just helping us find a house, but making sure we felt at home. When issues came up with our lender, she stayed calm and managed everything between the attorneys, the seller, and our broker. Diane truly cares about her clients. She even brought gifts for our pets and, since we were relocating from New York, met us halfway to pick up our deposit to save us the long commute. Her heart and soul are in the work she does, and it shows. If you want an agent who listens, advocates for you, and treats you like family, Diane DeVries is the one!!!

Fantastic experience: As there is no "button" to state my likelihood to use your company based solely on my agent - Tom Clancy - I have to give your overall organization a 10 and 5 stars. The reality is that TOM and TOM alone is the reason for the rating. The agent makes the transaction - not the "clearing house." Fantastic experience: Sue Woods, our William Pitt Southeby "seller's" agent, was absolutely the best agent we ever had, period. From our first meeting with her to the day we closed the sale, she was with us and helped every step of the way. She even lent us some of her furniture so our second bedroom showed as a bedroom rather than the artist's studio we used it for. She went out of her way to do many, many other things for us as well. She advised on staging, got a great photographer who made our home look its best, and dealt effectively with every detail that the buyer brought up. She kept us advised and in the loop for the whole process. We are certain that she got us the best price with the least hassle.

Eileen Boulay signed on with us in late November and sold it for the asking price within 3 months. She held as many open houses as needed to get the added exposure. When Eileen held an open house "SHE" was the agent onsite. She did not send a different agent or a junior colleague to "man" the open house for her. She went above and beyond and made it her business to familiarize herself with the house and property and when prospective buyers had a question, she readily had the answer. She was very communicative and stayed in touch with us regularly. She is knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I have recommended her to all of my clients and friends. Fantastic experience: I sought Margaret Muir and her team because of her experience in the Madison shoreline market and especially with my neighborhood. I knew that I had a quality product for her to sell but it seemed less in value than her usual houses. I was honored that she decided to be my realtor. Margaret's team including an excellent staging professional and I worked very well together to prepare the house for sale. I was surprised when Margaret set the asking price at what I thought a too high level and she estimated that it would sell within a week. Indeed it met her predictions. I recommend her to all my friends and colleagues who asks for a realtor whether buying or selling (or both). They are always grateful. What can I say, she is truly the epitome of the knowledgeable and skilled professional and then there is so much more than that. Janet is completely invested in finding her clients the best buyer or the best home to live in...she works tirelessly and is responsive to all questions (even if you repeat them because you are unclear), Janet knows construction, from the basement to the rooftop. She always refers to the professional (roofer, plumber, etc.) but understands the importance of looking below the surface of a home. Janet is a financial asset - again referring to experts - but so helpful in understanding how to price, how to bid (what a market we just faced!). She is the real deal - a rock star of realtors. Janet is relational, professional, a serious ally and a woman of great integrity. We trust her completely. Having Janet Mashia on your team is an assurance of success.

Fantastic experience: Our Sotheby's agent, Kirsten Adams, has been amazing. We initially listed our house with another agent at a competitive brokerage. What a mistake! Our home had little interest and no showings for weeks. As soon as Kirsten took over, our situation changed dramatically. Kirsten helped us improve our online presence and fixed the price. These improvements have translated into real buyer interest. We know that November is not the best month to sell a house, but interest is now 10 fold what it was with the other agent in the better months. After years of living on the shoreline, we have had experience with a number of agents in the area. We have found Kirsten to be exceptional in her drive, motivation, and marketing savvy. I would not use any other agent.

Negative experience: The Realtor who showed my home was very highhanded in her interactions with me. And, on a return look at the house left it somewhat trashed, took down ceiling tiles and left ceiling dirt all over the table and floor, left tiles half out of place and turned so that the old ‘repaired’ water stain appeared to be two different leaks. She left room sized braided rugs in a heap and left paint chips from removing radiator covers over the floor. She never asked permission nor told us that we would need to clean up behind her. The house would have been shown to subsequent clients in that state if I had not happened to go by to do some gardening. She was very belittling when asked about the issue.

Negative experience: William Pitt Madison is THE WORST most UNETHICAL deceptive real estate company we ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. Laurie Mcann repeatedly LIED, falsified information, bullied and intimidated us. RUN.
