Fantastic experience: As buyers, we were honestly a little hesitant when we first heard about signing a buyer agency agreement-t felt like a commitment we didn’t fully understand. But working with Vaishali completely changed that perspective.What we realized quickly is that the agreement wasn’t restrictive-it actually gave us clarity. We knew exactly how she represented us, what to expect, and how compensation worked. More importantly, she was transparent from day one that everything was negotiable, which immediately put us at ease.In our case, we agreed to a 2.5% commission, but Vaishali structured our offers so the seller covered most of it. In fact, in most of the offers she wrote for us, the seller agreed to pay her brokerage fee. By the time we closed on our home, the seller had covered 2%, and we only ended up paying 0.5%. It also took us a few offers to get there-but that journey mattered. With each offer, Vaishali refined strategy, advocated for us, and ensured we stayed competitive without overpaying. And in the end, we landed our dream home-at a price that was actually under fair market value.Looking back, the agreement didn’t limit us-but protected us.
