Fantastic experience: I had a pretty quick turn around to try and see homes and get one selected for my family. Rebecca and Anna were extremely professional and accommodating with our circumstances throughout the process. Will was also very helpful and professional.

Negative experience: IF YOU WANT YOUR HOUSE SOLD, DO NOT HIRE WILL DUCKWORTH!!! Will is the laziest realtor in the game! He depends on everyone to do the work for him and then reaps the benefits, must be an incredible job to have INHERITED. He doesn’t show houses after listing them, he just lets other realtors from other companies do all the work and sell for him, instead of actually selling himself. Don’t be fooled by all the billboards you see, they are just a facade. Yeah he may have high numbers, but not because of the work he is putting in personally, but because of all the work other realtors are doing selling the properties he has listed, and he reaps the benefits. He is constantly taking trips and out buying property in other states while his clients are begging to have attention paid to their listings! I’m all for work life balance, but you have to actually WORK for that to make sense! Always posting videos of him playing and goofing off, everything but trying to sell a house! He has ZERO and I mean ZERO creativity, suggestive or persuasive selling tactics, NOTHING! His only tactic is lowering the price multiple times and manipulation, and he doesn’t think you will check into the things he says. The ONLY reason he is a realtor is because it was an easy in, because his Mom owns the business and is his boss! I have no doubt she is an incredible realtor, I mean she built the business from the ground up and is incredibly successful, but he got NONE of that but the relation. We have sold houses in the past and everything single realtor was far more attentive and driven for a sell! We completely regret our decision to hire Will and would never do it again! Everyone I have spoken to after hiring him had negative things to say about him, mostly the same things I listed in this review. I wish I had known all these things before. You live and learn.

Fantastic experience: FTHB and we just closed with the amazing help of Becca Strother. She made this buying experience the most stress free process. From walk thrus to closing she was there to answer every question. Truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and I know we will always call on her for our real estate needs in the future. Becca is the best!

Fantastic experience: Makhia was the absolute best realtor I have ever used! She stuck with us through problems getting my dad's property sold. Her professionalism is her greatest attribute! My father is hearing impaired and she handled it so well! I come from a real-estate family and I know a great realtor when I see one! Duckworth properties is lucky to have her!

Negative experience: Worst experience of my 52 year life. Horrible communication and guidance. Highly recommend going anywhere else.

His knowledge and attention to detail was impressive. He was available to answer any questions we had and guided us through the entire process. He quickly and expertly processed all paperwork. He made an otherwise stressful process easy to navigate. I highly recommend Duckworth Properties and Cameron Williams.

Negative experience: Scam artists! I was three days from closing and lost my house because the sellers couldn't provide a clear title. You can't tell me their attorney and realtor didn't know this is illegal

Negative experience: Absolute worst people to work with. When I became dissatisfied with the effort put into selling my home, I had some questions and eventually decided that I didn’t want Duckworth selling my home. After 4 months I had only 4 “showings” and one of these showings they lied to me all together and never actually showed my home, I guess they didn’t think I had cameras. I was done, I don’t have time for dishonesty. These folks will try to trap you into their seller’s contracts so watch what you sign. So even if you are dissatisfied and have proof of dishonesty in their work, they will still try to hold you in contract with them. My realtor, Hannah asked me to send her $1500 over Venmo ( which is highly illegal, and extortion I might add) after I terminated my contract before they remove my house off the market. They claim this is for gas, labor, and office time, yet Hannah never actually showed my home once, nor do they have any receipts or logs to back their time up. I’m on day three after signing the termination and my house is still on Zillow. I ask my self this, if these guys are such good realtors, why do they have to try to trap you in a contract? If you aren’t happy and want out, they will try to extort money from you, lie to you, and hold you to this vague contract, despite the lack of effort put in on their end. Good realtors don’t do that, good realtors just sell homes, that’s how they expect to be paid, not extorting unhappy clients with unsold homes. They would rather fight with me, than just let me go my own way. Is that who you want to sell your home?

Fantastic experience: We’re from the Charlotte, NC area and booked a vacation rental through Duckworth Properties with Chaz in St Simons Island. The house itself was beautiful and fit our needs perfectly. We had two young kids and four adults staying in the 3 bedroom house. We appreciated they already had a pack&play, baby gate, and high chair so we didn’t have to pack a ton of extra baby things! The back patio was fun for my three year old to feed the turtles too. Knowing our kids, we packed travel blackout curtains which we ended up using since there’s lots of natural light. Our vehicles were too large to fit in the garage, but we both fit on the driveway - they also offer additional parking close by if your vehicles wouldn’t fit. We were maybe a 2 mile drive to the beach and had no problem finding free, close parking every day. Every meal we ate in SSI was great - we had an amazing time and wished we could’ve stayed longer. I think best of all was Chaz’s customer service! There were a handful of times I reached out prior to and during our stay, and I was met with a prompt, helpful response each time. Highly recommend this team!

Fantastic experience: Rebecca Strother was an absolute, sincere pleasure to work with. She provided excellent local knowledge regarding purchase and rental information. Rebecca was available at all hours of the day and up late to revise, plus complete my offers when timing was essential. It also very important for her to be physically present throughout the entire process. Rebecca’s demeanor, local knowledge, turnaround time, and willingness to support my preferences were unmatched. Fantastic experience: Duckworth Properties, specifically Rebecca Strother, was great to work with! Becca marketed and sold our house quickly and got us over asking price. She then found us a house and helped us envision how we could renovate it to meet our needs. The transaction was complicated because we bought it from someone that had just purchased it but because of Becca’s expertise she was able to work out a deal and get the house for us. I don’t think just any realtor could have done what Becca did. She has proven to think outside the box and will do everything it takes to get her clients needs met. Couldn’t recommend Duckworth or Becca more!

Negative experience: Agent is just looking for a paycheck and not looking out for their buyer. Issues with the house that were brought up or should have been brought up by the agent (someone in the business who does this everyday) were never dealt with.

Negative experience: After clicking on a home through Zillow to request a showing we were matched with Tori Adams Darby from Duckworth Properties. We spoke on the phone, I explained our situation & needs. She stated she could help & quickly sent me a list of properties. We settled on a few we wanted to see & requested to get together the following Sunday to view the three properties we’d chosen. Tori agreed to show us the homes, then confirmed both the list of properties & time to begin viewing them. We proceeded to drive 14 HOURS to see the homes with the plan to choose one the following week & begin our relocation. Upon arriving at the first property there was no sign of Tori. We waited 15 minutes, then called 9+ times, and texted. It went strait to voicemail, she never responded even after the weekend to apologize or even acknowledge that she had completely flaked! When the owner of the home saw us in the driveway she approached us to find out why we were there. She said nobody had contacted her about a showing & she then called her listing agent to confirm. He also stated they had not been contacted to set up the showing. It quickly became clear that Tori was a sham and had never intended to show us any houses! I highly recommend finding ANY other agent in Georgia if you’re looking to buy/sell and staying FAR away from Duckworth Properties.

Negative experience: So I'm almost sure they only work with "certain people". Very rudely hung up on and never contacted back immediately after disclosing certain information. And no I'm of no relation. I contacted them because it was an awesome coincidence I thought.

Negative experience: I recently bought land off oak grove island to start building a house on and from start to finish since i was in Wisconsin at the time, i had to constantly call for updates on whether or not my offer was accepted or countered. I worked with Hannah Melton specifically and not once even after i moved to ga did she try to meet me. Eventually i ended up buying the land on 11/23/20 and i had been moved back to ga since 10/22/20. Even at the closing at the lawyer's office i never saw her. In fact the seller's agent Cynthia was there and definitely more pleasant to me than Hannah. I feel as if all she cared about was getting paid and that was it. She didn't even try to show me the land or anything and after a month of no answer after putting in the offer i had to follow up on my own to get an answer. Definitely won't be using Duckworth ever again. I guess i wasn't worth the time since the land was not going to give her much commission money, but i guess the fact that i was trying to build a half a million dollar house on it doesn't matter. Don't ever use them, i made a mistake using her because my contractor brian recommended her but never again.

Fantastic experience: Doing business with LeAnn is a shear pleasure. Her knowledge and direct candor is perfect to make every conversation one that gets straight to the point. Her enthusiasm is matched by NONE!!! Twice I have done business with LeAnn and both times the speed at with she brought clients together was beyond imagination. She knows her business. And that's what makes her THE BEST!

Negative experience: If I had the opportunity to rate her lower I would. We moved to a development off 99 in 2008. It was beautiful with sidewalks and craftsman type homes. All was well until she came in and started building her cheap homes right on top of each other without sidewalks and homes that no longer resembled that of the original homes to maintain continuity. Our property value plummeted and crime has increased as a direct result. She has destroyed what was a quiet peaceful neighborhood and made it now impossible to even sell our home.

Fantastic experience: I first met LeAnn and the Duckworth Team when I had contacted Duckworth Property to purchase a lot on St. Simons Island. My lot purchase was only 50k but LeAnn and her team treated me like I was purchasing a million dollar lot. It was the most amazing experience I had ever had with a realtor! At the time my house in Jesup had been on the market for over 2 Years. I was so impressed with LeAnn and her team at Duckworth when my listing expired I placed it with Duckworth. Duckworth had my house sold in 2 months after I gave them the listing with top dollar in hand..My cousin that lived in Odum had her house on the market for almost 3 years. After I told her about my experience with LeAnn and her team she re-listed with Duckworth and her house was sold within a month. I am now in the process of selling my house and buying another house. It was so great to realize I did not have to search for a real estate company! I knew immediately who to call! Le Ann and her team are the most knowledgeable, respectable, trustworthy folks I have ever dealt with. I would not trust just anyone to sell my biggest asset that I have..If LeAnn tells you she is going to do something that is her word! In my book Duckworth Properties is number 1 and I will never give my business to anyone else. They get my job done quick, efficiently and got me top dollar! Thank You Duckworth Properties! You Rock!

We were purchasing our home long distance and Theresa made this challenging undertaking flawless. She answered our many questions. She is very knowledgeable about the area and the process. And when she did not know an answer, she quickly found it and got back with us. Theresa went above and beyond and looked out for our best interests. From the first call to closing, and beyond, we felt cared for and comfortable every step of the way. Theresa was on site for the inspections. And when we wanted a final walk through of the house, but our schedules kept us out of state, Theresa went to the property and did a video call with us late on a Sunday afternoon, so that we would have a final walk through prior to closing. I am an interior decorator and I have run across real estate agents who seem to only want the quick sale, but with Theresa, we did not get that. Theresa wanted us to get into the right home, the home we wanted, not just any home. We would recommend Theresa Reed to anyone, without reservation.

Negative experience: Easily one of the most unethical, underhanded agents in the 912 area, don’t let the smile fool you like it did me. Probably one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. I wish I had never met this agent or this property mafia. Buyer/sellers beware!!!
