Negative experience: Lack of communication with maintenance. took over a week to get my deposit check back, over priced unit. The gas went out in the middle of december. If able to avoid please do!!

Fantastic experience: Been working with MIG since 2021, I have entrusted my property to them since then. We survived some of the remaining pandemic challenges together. I am forever grateful for them being available and attentive to the tenants and the property. They are very easy to work with and communicative. We worked through various issues, not all of them were easy, but they didn’t stop until a resolution was reached. Fantastic experience: The team over at MIG was a massive help with everything I needed. Kind, supportive, and always ready with ideas. Especially the property manager Mayra with the R U hungry over at the Newark location. She answered every question I had with no hesitation, answered every call quickly and even made time in the middle of the day so I could physically check out the location and the apartments. Negative experience: Wasted my time, no communication.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service and very disrespectful. At several points they lied and when I called them out about it and asked for an apology they told me “break your lease and move out if that’s how you feel”. They have a big reputation of saying they will do one thing and never follow through with their actions. They will try to gaslight you and make it seem like you’re the problem. If you live somewhere and MIG manages it good luck and keep all ya evidence together you are going to need it!

Negative experience: They are liars!! When you put in a maintenance request it takes them a couple of days to get someone out there!! Beware if you see mig on rental property websites!! I DON'T have enough space for everything else I have to say!!

Negative experience: Me and my roommate applied with MIG to rent the 3rd floor on the 191 New York ave, Newark and we got approved. We asked Katie couple days before we planned signing the lease if we could add a 3rd person on the contract, she said yes, all 3 adults will be on the lease, we also made sure to talk about it with Katie on the phone to confirm we could add a 3rd person on the leasing. We set up with our current landlord to give the keys back, since we were moving the next day to the apartment in Newark. We had everything set up to sign the contract with Antony and we where so happy about it. Couple hours before we sign the lease I received a call from Antony saying that I couldn't add a 3rd person on the contract, since I applied for 2 people. He said he contacted the landlord about it and he denied my application. All this one day before I had everything ready to move in. This is absolutely irresponsive and unprofessional, we have no place to go since we gave back the keys from our old house. Antony blamed me from what occurred and didn't even said sorry or tried to help us in any other way. I'm really really disappointed on how they treat humans beings at this place is.
