Fantastic experience: I saw an apartment on a the 24th , didn't love it, asked if another apartment was available and the leasing agent took me right over. I fell in love, put my application in the same day. The very next day, Christmas day, someone from management reached out to me with questions and my application was approved within hours. The process was so seamless it seemed too good be true. I dropped off my checks on Monday and got my keys on Tuesday morning. Everyone was so professional , informative and attentive throughout the process. In all my years of renting, I never experienced such a quick and painless rental process. I would recommend this management company to anyone!!!!!!!!!!

Positive experience: We have lived in our unit for four years, and we really love the space. The floors and lighting were upgraded before we moved in, and the windows give us a TON of natural light. Maintenance is helpful when we need them. My only complaint would be that I wish there was a tiny bit more proactive communication from management, but I can tell they have been working on it!

Fantastic experience: All process is modern and good. I like this type of aparments. Apatmant itself is modern design and all staff is friendly. I generally prefer all process as electonic and I found it on here. It's a new building and the space for a 2b is really good.

Fantastic experience: I live at the 3539 JFK Blvd location, and my experience with the building management has been very positive. They are responsive, professional, and quick to handle any maintenance requests. The living areas are clean, well-kept, and regularly maintained, which adds to the comfort of the building. Positive experience: I’ve lived here for about a year and overall have had a positive experience. The location is excellent and very convenient, which was a big reason I chose this community. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, which I truly appreciate. The pricing also feels reasonable for the area and amenities provided. A few areas could use improvement. There’s no doorbell or intercom system, which means I have to go downstairs to let guests in. Additionally, the hallways and stairwells could benefit from some upgrades and more consistent maintenance, such as new carpeting on the stairs or regular floor upkeep. Overall, it’s a solid place to live with a few opportunities for improvement.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a one bedroom apartment, Joe reached back out to me and ask when will i be free to look at one of there beautiful units they had available. I made an appointment filled out and came and check out the place . The unit and cleanlness of the building exceeded my expsection. I followed up with the application process atherwards. .Joe and his management team was with me every step of the way. Im now live in my new place loving everything about the place and area it is total tranquility. When i call or email i get propmt return response to any concerns i may have just moving an and the get things in order immediately with thier units . im very pleased with their service and hospitally. Negative experience: Without a doubt, one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Trying to get your security deposit back is near impossible and they will come up with every excuse known to man to avoid it. They use the old “check is in the mail” answer, when by law it must be sent certified or hand delivered with a signature to avoid that game. Well I guess they will have another lawsuit on their hands at their expense. Good luck to anyone that has to deal with these people. Update 9/25/25 So I receive an email from someone at skye management today asking me to delete my review because after 2 months they finally sent back my security deposit. Haha. Not a chance, but I will gladly update it for you. Yes I did get the deposit back, 2 months later, after dozens of unanswered phone calls and emails, an email to the mayor and the media, and finally the threat of securing a lawyer. And magically, the check appeared, after you cashed a 14 month old check from a deceased woman. Thankfully, the bank made good on it, and returned our money, knowing that you were wrong, and they didn’t catch it. I’m sure the bank will get their money back. I will never delete my review it. This was my disgusting experience with Skye, and I am more than happy to share my experience in hopes that it will help others that may have to go through this with companies like this. They should be ashamed and embarrassed, and that is why they want it removed. I encourage everyone to voice their opinions good or bad, and let people make their own judgements and decide if they want to work with this type of business. If there was a way to give negative stars they would be a minimum of a -10. Thanks for nothing Skye, it is over now, you should never hear from me again, unless you ask me to delete my update. If so, I will gladly update everyone with more info that I have yet to share.

Negative experience: Skye Management is a Family Owned business that NEGLECTS the Families & Community they serve. There only concern since assuming ownership over 6 months ago of the property I stay at, has been renovating to gentrify the area. The quality of life has declined due to a list of critical & ongoing issues they could care less about. Skye Management has been unresponsive to ensuring the security of there tenants. There website with all those pretty views are deceitful! You want to know what views you will get at one of their properties? Try waking up to views of people shooting heroine in their arm, prostitution, rats and garbage. Directly in your unsecured backyard where your children are ment to play. I'm sure code enforcement, the city officials & police department are tired of there negligence as well. Don't do business or put your life at risk....renting with Skye Management.
Negative experience: HORRIBLE company. Stay away. Once they have your money they don't care about you anymore. Hallways are disgustingly dirty, HVAC doesn't work, resident complaints are ignored, and "gym" is falling apart.
Negative experience: Company hired my company for an air duct cleaning, that was January 24. They still have not paid. Now they won't return my calls. Update after the response. 4/7/25 Sent invoice to provided email, which was done already by me and Ayman. He even went as far as to collect ACH information for electronic transfer. He has since been avoiding calling me back despite multiple calls and messages left with reception. 4/11/25 Still not a single word from SKYE MGMT. 4/16/25 Left another message with reception. 4/24/25 No response to the message I left with reception, no response to the email I sent with the invoice. Looking into further action. 5/8/25 Still no contact from this "property management company". A complete joke. 6/17/25 Spoke with reception again today. Decent guy, the excuse was internal processing issues, should be paid within the week. Still pissed, won't do any more work for them.
Hello Doug, not sure who you are or who your company is but we don’t process invoices via phone but via our vendor portal. You’re more than welcome to send it to [email protected] with the Work order number for us to process for you if the work was completed in a satisfactory manner.
Negative experience: Scheduled a tour of one of the properties and the agent never showed up. Was waiting for 45 minutes after calling and being told the agent was “on the way”. Terrible management group and most likely is just a scam. Stay away from this group they do not know what they are doing and are extremely unprofessional. Avoid if you can, you will only be wasting your time.
Fantastic experience: I recently have been working with skye management for the senior home in Bayonne. The amount of help and support I gained from Yousef has been phenomenal. He’s been going above and beyond to help me get the assistance I needed for my mother. She moves in next week and the process was honestly fast. Overall working with the yousef has made this process very easy and smooth. Can’t wait to move my mom in to her new home.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I really would , after signing a contract with Skye management a month(7/30) prior to my moving date 9/1 . They pressured me to send my 1st month rent and security deposit or else the apt will be taken , I went to the bank to provide the money the same day , 2 days prior to moving , I receive an email from them saying I will no longer move in , because the current tenant renewed their lease. They breached that contract with me and told me last minute , ( 2 days prior to moving date )which leaves me homeless till I find a next apartment , God knows best . When I call the office they either hang up or put me on hold for like 30 mns and they claim they will call, but I always call them to have to find out the next move . I spoke to Jules , Amer , Amen , Ali , Thafer Hanini (the so- called manager ) . I went to their office to speak to the manager Thafer , and showed him the lease and he kept telling me « I don’t know, there’s nothing I can do « to all of the questions I’ve asked him . I was so frustrated but I just left the office, not even wanting to see his face. Then he informs me that they are all currently in vacation , while I didn’t receive my deposit and 1st month rent . I never write bad reviews, for the first time, I was really played and violated . I will never recommend this agency to anyone from my experience.

Positive experience: Joe is wonderful and really pays attention to his clients. He has been really attentive and is working with me to find somewhere to call home.
Negative experience: I want to give them a zero because they dont even deserve a star. Very ruthless people at the office. I have been complaining about maintenance issues in my apartment no one even bothered to come check it out. They care less about the building in east orange location. We have been living in that apartment way before they bought the building but all they do is drastically increase rent and don’t do anything. I reported I have kids and the issues in my apartment is hazardous to the babies. No one offered to come check it out. I also reported a stove replacement even if I have to pay and no one bothered to address it. I reported to the city hall and urban council office. I have posted the apartment situation on TikTok and other social platforms and I hope people will see how deceitful they are! Worse management ever!!!! Don’t rent with them! Also they blackmail residents to give them a good review in exchange for late fees waiving which is thier fault!!! They did that once to me and never again will I go that. I put all that in the video on TikTok and social media with all my maintenance request from last year!!!
Negative experience: APRIL 12,2024 If I could give SKYE Management a rating, it would be a -100. For one they do not answer their phone during business hours the phone rings 100 times before someone answers or after the machine picks up and you have to leave a voicemail message which they’re never gonna call you back. I’m very upset with Skye Management after submitting 54 pages of paperwork, Social Security numbers and any other personal information I was told by Mr. Joe from Skye Management Office in Newark NJ that we are NOT eligible for an apartment due to over income, race and disability if this is not discrimination, I don’t know what is. Also, I reported SKYE Management to the Housing Urban Development in Trenton NJ for discrimination. Everyone in SKYE Management office in Newark, NJ needs to be fired! Negative experience: This company is horrible to deal with. I leave emails to Senior Horizons and info@skyemanement. Also numerous phone calls to various 800 numbers. I received a phone call after my last google review. I am hoping this gets a response. I tried to pay my father's rent before it was due. I received the call after the first review. I was told if payment was received by the 7th there will be no fee. Mind you, I have been trying to pay this since the 1st of the month. The check was received on the 7th and I still got hit with the charge. What is the issue? Why can't anyone follow up on a phone call an emails especially when they are during your posted business times. All I ask is to follow up on phone calls and/or email. Also, take care of the $25 fee that you said you were going to reverse. Trying to get in touch with this company is very time consuming
Negative experience: I’ve applied to an apartment with them months ago. I call and call and call and no information from no one. I am always told someone will reach out and no one ever does. Even months in, the apartments are still available for rent. I’ve sent in all documents and when I call to follow up they say no one has received them. I began to think they are not really looking for tenants

Negative experience: Cannot get a hold of them whatsoever. I misplaced my key fob, called the office…no one answered because they never do…so I went to their office after work, and was told to come back the next day. I said i could only come around 4/4:30 and if that was okay, lady said it was. I’m here now but the door is locked. I check online, they’re open. I call, no one picks up and I can’t even leave a voicemail because it just resets to the automated message. I like my apartment but I think management is poor because you just can’t reach them ever. I’m not even sure if they even have a phone in their office lol. It’s a long weekend, so I don’t think I’ll be able to replace my fob any time soon.

Negative experience: I am currently a resident at the Clinton Street Lofts. My keys and wallet were stolen from my car and I have called countless times over the course of 5 weeks to request a new key fob for the front door and gym. The men who I speak to always tell me they will call me back with an update and never do. Nobody is ever willing to help me and they never have an update when I call. Omar is the name of the guy who always picks up the phone. There is never anyone else to help me because they are all “busy”.
Negative experience: Lenney a team member here is truly unprofessional. I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment and our first interaction was him hanging up in my face and then telling me it was disconnected. I’ve moved out in May of 2022 and I’m still waiting for my security deposit as a result of an error from the office staff. I held off for months on making a review, hoping that we can come to some sort of summation. I did not call for my security deposit for months because I hoped they would do the right thing. I reached out to him today and was rushed and was told he doesn’t have time, as of today he has since blocked my number after texting me from his personal cell. When it is clearly a company phone. 0/5
Fantastic experience: Amazing service!
Negative experience: Unbelievably bad services. Our apartment is an oven and despite multiple techs coming over to look at our air conditioning, they have been unable to fix it. We are now in a dangerous heat wave with no central AC. Even worse, Skye Management are liars. They tell us the techs will show up, we wait for hours for them, and nobody comes. We get emails telling us the problem has been fixed. It is incredible how pathological their lies have become. If you are moving into a Skye property, be warned. It will not be easy. They will lie to your face and let you cook in an 85 degree apartment.

Fantastic experience: I’m over here just thanking GOD. I have previously rented with skye Management at a different area. They were great to me. However the owner chose to go with a different company and they left. The pandemic came and I started experiencing bad management at my old building. I needed to move super fast. So I reached out to Skye Management. Specifically Ryan. He helped me move literally within 30 days. He also took it a step further and redid my kitchen, and my floors he also offered to paint my walls. I love the fact that we have amenities, as far as the mailroom packages do not get stolen . It’s a dog friendly building. The gym is state of the art. And they email you about everything that they need to do or what’s happening if you’re looking to live somewhere that’s convenient to Newark Penn station I suggest this building. Google sky management and look up Ryan he is a gem!

Negative experience: A MANAGEMENT COMPANY THAT MANAGES NOTHING! This building treats their tenants as if we are living there for free. Complaint after complaint and nothing is getting done. This management neglects maintenance request that will leave you and your family in harms way. Oh and be careful when you make complaints because they are VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND borderline violent. Ryan is extremely unprofessional when taking request; rushing you and making you feel your issues are inadequate. 0/10 stars

Negative experience: As a current resident the staff and management are completely unprofessional and very unresponsive with current tenants they will use silent intimidation tactics against their OWN tenants. Also when i got to speak with Ryan Quintans he was very rude and belittling on the phone, I just broke down in tears over this whole situation.

I have lived in many places from New York To Miami Beach and I can't say enough about the staff at the office, the Property Manager and the staff that helps keep the building clean at all times. I love my apartment and I know most of my neighbors. I also have to say that I moved from Washington Heights to Newark not knowing what I was getting myself into and my son and I could not be happier. I definitely recommend Skye Management to help you find your next dreams home or apartment. If you're ever in the neighborhood please say hi, I love my view as you can see in the picture.
Negative experience: This management deserves no stars. Extremely frustrating experience and cannot believe they treat residents who pay their rent this way. I've had issues accessing my mail because of a lock and key issue and have requested a new key or at least an opportunity to get access to my mail , but they claim there is a inventory shortage and would not be able to assist me for at least a week!!! I understand there has been issues with shortages all over but to provide no alternative and suggest I have to figure it out on my own by calling my local post office seem inconsiderate and unprofessional, very disturb on their approach and need to speak to manager asap because me and alot of other residents are very displeased with lack of competency
Fantastic experience: SKYE Management has always been very quick to respond to any and all maintenance requests, and has made huge improvements on building and units without resorting to rent extortion like so many other landlords. I'd lived in Newark at the Union Building (Clinton Street Lofts) for 6 years now and making this apartment my home was the highlight of that experience. I recommend this building and this company to anyone who asks, whether you're a student at one of the nearby schools or just looking for a large apartment with easy access to everything. Thoughtful touches, easy communication, and all around pleasant interactions places SKYE Management a cut above your average building management company.

Fantastic experience: I live in the Clinton Street property and I absolutely love it! I work in NY and I’m only 2 blocks away from Newark Penn station. I used to commute 3 hours one way, so once I decided to move location was key! The building is well maintained, the amenities are top of the line and the responsiveness of management is amazing. I put in a maintenance request and less than an hour later they were in my apartment fixing the issue. I would definitely recommend the Clinton St property as a place to live, and if they run their other properties the same way, then you simply can’t lose!!!
Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of living in one of Skye Management’s properties in Newark, NJ for three years while attending law school. The apartment was perfect to fit my needs. The building was nice and quiet during the day which helped allow me study. After my first year there, a full gym was built in the basement of the building with top of the line equipment. Any questions I might have had were always answered in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Skye Management for anyone looking for an apartment!
Fantastic experience: We lived for six years and one month at the 11-15 Clinton St. Lofts. It is located in the best area of Newark, close to Penn Station, and the building is very nice. We had really good neighbors. They have been, not only good friends, but like family. We have had a very positive experience living there, and we would repeat it again once we return to Newark. We highly recommend Skye Management and the 11-15 Clinton St. Union Building!

Positive experience: While there are some things I did not like when Skye Management took over apartment, such as communication with tenants during the transition period among others, they have made some headways. In addition to a few work in progress, they have made a number of improvements -parcel delivery, and their quick responses. So in the spirit of fairness I will reserve my opinion while I wait to see the outcome of their work in progress to elevate apt building. UPDATE- GREAT PROGRESS: Management have made tremendous improvements. Apartment now boast not only a gym but a board game area where tenants can host small togetherness. Building is well maintained. I believe this could well be one of NJ's hidden treasure for upcoming professionals.
Fantastic experience: Very happy with the building managers Amer and Isaac.
Negative experience: do NOT park in their lot. I had paid for a monthly parking pass, and due to a "glitch" in their system had my vehicle towed. The towing fee was $250.00 and to add insult to injury, they towed my car to an incredibly dangerous neighborhood and made me wait there in the dark for nearly two hours. On top of that they were incredibly rude, unapologetic, and would not even issue a refund. The towing company told me that I was the fourth car they towed that day. My guess is that this is a way for them to make money. DO NOT PARK in their lot.
