Fantastic experience: When my husband and I decided to look for a lake house on Lake Hickory I started with the “Friends of Lake Hickory” post on FB. I saw one we were interested in but wasn’t sure how to proceed. I remembered that my friend Michelle Impagliazzo (whose mother sold us our first house in Hickory 42 years ago) was a realtor so I contacted her. We visited house #1. We were quickly outbid. Next was house #2. We made a bid on it but were outbid. By this time Michelle had spent hours with us. She was undeterred and very positive. Michelle contacted us a few days later that another house we had hoped to see (but also had been made an offer and was under contract) was back on the market. Bingo! That was the house that best suited us for a vacation house, not a full time home. Michelle was so helpful as we worked through the process of the purchase.
