Fantastic experience: we stayed for a week in San Diego and the house was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were comfortable and the living spaces great! It was very well stocked kitchen with a good amount of spices for our cooking needs. The area was in a quiet neighborhood and very easy to find and navigate through. We were close to local attractions and the pool was wonderful! We are considering another stay in the future!

Fantastic experience: We stayed 10 days at the property. Management was very responsive and incredible. Place was clean upon arrival and everything was prompt. Super convenient to have the Smart and Final grocery and the Mexican restaurant near the property. Loved it all!

Negative experience: The stay would have a much better review if the mattress was not extremely old without any support. We were in pain the entire stay. please upgrade old mattresses and replace old dishes.

Fantastic experience: We rented the property 492 23rd street in San Diego for a long weekend. From the moment we got there we felt right at home. They are very dog friendly and there’s even a backyard for the dogs. The Parking was open around the house (rare in SD) and it felt very safe. It was also quiet. I don’t think we heard one other person when we were there. There’s a lot of local coffee, shops and things to do in the area. It’s just a few minutes from the beach and downtown, which was such a great time. I will definitely be staying here again and recommending this property to everyone I know. Do yourself a favor and book here you won’t regret it. :)

Fantastic experience: I had a really pleasant stay at this cozy studio. The location is perfect close to downtown, the convention center, and major attractions like the zoo. The studio was exactly as described: clean, well-furnished, and ideal for a short stay. Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout. The bed was comfortable, Wi-Fi was reliable, and the space had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It’s a great value for the location. Would definitely recommend for solo travelers or couples looking for a convenient and comfortable place in the heart of the city.

Fantastic experience: The location was perfect, the house was spacious, equipped and beautiful. The Southern California management was kind enough to give us a free night to compensate for the problem with hot tub which took 2 days to be fixed. We really appreciate their understanding.

Fantastic experience: I booked for 3 weeks and stayed 2 months. This place is awesome! so friendly, cute, welcoming of pets, apartments surrounding a huge and ancient avocado tree, walkably close to all the cool stuff San Diego has to offer, including downtown (walkable), Balboa park trails, coffee shops, yoga, and on and on. The location, the staff, the jacuzzi, and the cute apartments get a 5 out of 5.

Fantastic experience: After two failed AirBnB rentals, Southern California Rentals was so patient and considerate with our needs and they truly made the difference. Their communication was top notch, clear and I could really feel the consideration for our situation within their responsiveness and service. Beyond that there was the rental Itself, what a wonderful, calming and private place! The home was so clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were equipped with everything we needed and what a lovely view this place offers! I can’t recommend this place enough, I know that if I have to come back for a vacation this will be the place!

Fantastic experience: The place was amazing. The little cozy unit I was in was perfect with enough space. The backyard was almost a vacation in itself. Unlimited avocados, a jacuzzi, a sauna, a BBQ grill, astroturf for my dog. My kids referred to it as luxurious multiple times. Walking around was safe and in a neighborhood. Right on the corner was a beautiful view of the city skyline. I would go back for sure.

Positive experience: The place is very clean. However the bathroom sink was clogged and the shower leaked all over the floor such that the shower mat was soaking wet after every single shower.

Fantastic experience: We thoroghly enjoyed our third extended visit to the Modern Poolside property. The house has always been clean and well prepared for us. The neigborhood is pleasant and close to shopping and restaurants (and our granchildren). The four bedrooms allowed us to invite our out-of-town family to stay with us while spending time with our San Diego son and his family. The pool and spa were clean and serviced weekly - provided lots of fun to our young and not-so-young guests. Our request for a few kitchen items was honored immediately. Ozzie and Kristina have always been accomodating and responsive. We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: We stayed at the Gorgeous Sail Bay property for two weeks and had an incredible time. The kitchen was fully stocked, the couch and beds were comfy, there was enough linen and towels for everyone and every occasion, and direct access to the bay was the cherry on top! The house included kayaks, bikes, a BBQ, lots of books, games, and the perfect place to rest and take in the bay views. Our stay at this property was one of the best experiences we had this year!! Every family member including the dog had a fantastic stay and left feeling fulfilled. As a side note, there are two local coffee spots close by, a handful of restaurants and a small park within walking distance. Southern California Rentals was a great host and responded quickly to my needs. Staff were accommodating, communicative and friendly. We would 100% recommend this property and host to anyone and especially our family and friends.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Southern California Rentals was wonderful! I was down there for radiation treatment and last minute needed to extend my stay. Not only were they able to extend my stay, but they also did it in a way that was stress free. The rental place was amazing and the rental company was so easy to work with. Highly recommend booking with them.

Fantastic experience: Everything about this place is 5 stars! Having spent many summers in the Mission/Pacific Beach area, my family and I decided to venture a little further north to La Jolla and what a great idea that was. I thought not being directly on the beach would be an issue, but it was a quick 3 block walk to the nearest beach. We spent the month of June at this rental and could not be happier. Upon arrival, the home was immaculate; there were extra linens, cleaning supplies and even a vacuum. The kitchen was well appointed with too many great items to list but did include a full size coffee maker, juicer, magic bullet, an air fryer, instant pot, the list goes on and on. The hosts were attentive to any questions and quick to respond. The backyard was amazing for the beautiful San Diego al fresco evenings. The home is located within walking/biking distance to everything. Grocery or markets close, boutique shopping a quick 1 mile away and during the summer months, the La Jolla farmers market is just up the road. Thank you for a great June, Jinx Smith

Fantastic experience: This place was a good stay for someone like me who is traveling alone. Located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The internal decoration of the place is quite modern-looking, and the patio and little terrace is a big plus.

Fantastic experience: This stay was great! The location is great and close to San Diego Zoo, the area is nice, and there is plenty of street parking available. The neighborhood is quiet. The rental has everything you need, is clean, and modern. The hosts are quick to respond if you need anything else. I would definitely recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: Re. 942 23 Street, San Diego, CA…the property managers were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Lovely private back yard garden with hot tub. Laundry facility excellent, close to the zoo, Balboa park, downtown, the pier.

Positive experience: Stayed in one of the properties for a month and worked remotely while doing so. The accommodations were as advertised and the backyard area was great. Washers & Dryers with soap provides was awesome for a long stay. Working remotely inside the small 1 bedroom without a desk was less than ideal but we made it work. Would prefer to have a desk! Would stay again but bring a desk with me.

Fantastic experience: This place was immaculate. Very clean and quaint. Free amenities such as laundry facilities with detergent ready for use. Hot tub, fire pit and grill for shared use. I'm from the country so I accustomed to open space and this is small but uses the space perfectly. Less than 1 mile from downtown. A couple good food spots around the corner. The price was less than a nearby 4 star hotel that I stayed in the week prior that had hidden fees and charged 40 extra dollars for parking at their facility. If its it one thing that was mildly irritating was parking - though was not terrible. Street parking is available and sometimes had to park around the corner. This is not any fault of the owners and he was helpful and very courteous. He offered to help me with my luggage and checked in on my stay without be overreaching. No complaints would recommend to anyone looking to stay in SD area!!

Positive experience: Ref: 23rd Street, Unit D, San Diego CA, 92102 My stay at 23rd Street exceeded my expectation. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities that I would need. The outside entertainment area was a beautiful garden area for private parties or just relaxing outdoors.

Fantastic experience: I loved my stay with them- The space was cozy and accommodating inside with an amazing backyard full of amenities and serenity. The other guests were friendly and welcoming. Easy to get anywhere in San Diego you want to explore.

Fantastic experience: We stayed in this house for 2 weeks, the location is perfect, within walking distance to a hiking trail, coffee shops, restaurants, even a bookstore (Blue Stocking). We really like this neighborhood, very clean and well maintained, convenient to all attractions in San Diego. The house is very clean, it comes with a parking garage that fits our SUV but probably nothing bigger. There are a few very useful beach items in the garage like the chairs, umbrella, sand toys, coolers, which we really appreciated. The management office has been very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The only thing to note is that the entrance to the house is in the unnamed road located at the back alley. We weren't sure if we order food or grocery delivery, people will find the entrance, but it was not a big deal for us since the restaurants are within walking distance, as well as a Wholefoods market. We also used the Amazon delivery box there for things we need to order from Amazon during our stay.

Fantastic experience: Our stay at the hillcrest house was excellent. The house was stocked with all the basic necessities and was extremely clean. The neighborhood felt safe and was extremely close to Balboa Park and all it's amazing touristy attractions including the zoo.

Fantastic experience: Its close to everything you can do in San Diego. I went to the beach, walked downtown, even went to a casino near by. The place is small but has everything you need to be comfortable. The only thing is that the bed was a little to firm for my taste, but, hey, that may be a good thing for others. Its dog friendly. The yard is also small and there really isn't a place to hang out, although it does have a small little table to enjoy some sun. The hot tub is on yard that belongs to the main house but its literally feet from the tiny house. They allow you to use the washer and dryer which is attached to the main house garage. There is a private entrance but they warn you that the gardener comes in and out of the private entrance, so I guess that means it's semi private but we didn't have any issues with him. My dogs loved him. Over all I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

Fantastic experience: This was a great little apartment for our vacation! The location was amazing, 5 minutes away from basically everything. And the neighborhood had restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. We did have to hunt for some parking one evening when we got in late, but other than that it was not a problem. The apartment and backyard space were beautiful and quiet, great for our fam and little doggie. Rachel was very kind and responsive to any concerns or questions we had, we would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic experience: We stayed in one of their locations for a week while trying to find an apartment to live in San Diego. The apartment was great, super spacious, and clean. The hot tub in the backyard and laundry was great to have. They allowed pets which was so helpful. I would stay again!! I will definitely recommend to family and friends staying in the San Diego area.

Fantastic experience: Very nice inside! Had a problem with a slow shower drain and management was quick to respond. We stayed an entire month and encountered no problems. Only suggestion would be to replace uncomfortable sofa/futon. Everything else was very nice!

Positive experience: Loved this house. We came to San Diego from Michigan to see our daughters US Navy ship homecoming after a 7 month deployment. The pool and hot tub are great, our son and daughter-in-law and 3 grandkids were with us and we all enjoyed the pool very much. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of sheets, blankets, etc. Just could've used more towels, but other than that, we were very pleased with it and would stay there again.

Fantastic experience: We loved our stay at your house in beautiful San Diego! The backyard pool and jacuzzi were amazing fun for the whole family. Nice private backyard too! Close driving distance to the beautiful beaches of La Jolla and Pacific Beach, and some great hiking/mountain biking trails just two blocks north of the house. The house was clean and comfortable, and we'll definitely be staying again!

Fantastic experience: My mother rented a beautiful condo at Seapoint near Torrey Pines State Beach and the entire stay was smooth and Rachel and Ozzy were attentive and took great care of my mom. Covid came along right in the middle of her stay and they accommodated her staying longer on a week by week basis until she was able to get back home. Condo was clean and well stocked - everything was as advertised in the unit, if not better.

Fantastic experience: My family loved this home! The location is ideal: right on the corner of Balboa Park, just a few minutes from North Park, and very easy access to anywhere in town. The home was well cleaned, stylish, and comfortable four our family of four and dog. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Fantastic experience: This apartment was well maintained and easy to find. Located in Old San Diego, has a nice front yard and very cute backyard. The off street parking spot was excellent and much appreciated as it was hard to find a parking spot on the street. The bed is big and comfy and the T.V. in the bedroom is a plus. Kitchen is spacious and can fit four around the table no problem. Coronado, the Zoo and the Midway Museum are all each around a 15 minute drive from your doorstep. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.

Fantastic experience: As a traveling nurse, I could not have found a better spot! This place is in a great location downtown that is close to all that San Diego has to offer! Cozy, comfortable, and just the right amount of space. The backyard is beautiful with a large avocado tree and has lots of space for activities and also a hot tub. Would recommend to anyone coming to San Diego!
