Negative experience: Ok, buckle up: The ladies in the office are very nice to begin with, and they will keep that pleasant tone, even while they screw you out of money and double charge you. I rented from them for just shy of three years. During that time we went without a dishwasher for over half that time, and without a garbage disposal for about 9 months. They will charge you for maintenance inspections $35 to come in, look around and fix NOTHING. We had two of those inspections, and two Owner visits during that time and the dishwasher still wasn't fixed while I made multiple requests in the tenant portal. Now when we moved in we gave them a huge punch list of things that were wrong with the house, holes in the wall, broken garage door, trim that is messed up, massive weeds in the yard, whole sections of the yard not on the sprinkler system. A lot of things that did not bother us, but we didn't want to be charged for. That was a mistake, force them to fix every little thing because they will try and charge you for those things when you move out. As for stealing money, they will try to charge you for utilities from before you moved in, and after you move out. They will charge you $35 for "maintenance inspections" but fix absolutely nothing. If you have any garbage that left over that does not fit in the can they will charge you for that individually and again as part of their "cleaning". Now my Wife cleans vacation rentals and stayed behind for two days after I moved all of our stuff out of the house to clean and make sure everything was good. They still charged. They did not turn on the sprinklers until mid may when the heat was already baking the lawn, tried to say it was because of the "weather" when everyone else in the neighborhood had been using their sprinklers for almost two months, and then decided to charge us for fertilizer on the lawn to bring it back to life. To summarize, if you want to rent from a company that will be sweet and nice to your face but ignore any issues, and then steal money from your deposit. Go with Steed-Corry

They have been very responsive of anything he asks and have been more than above and beyond on keeping his rental home comfortable and he has been happy living there there in 2 different places for a total of 6 years now. Negative experience: Absolutely horrendous. They will with out a doubt always take your security deposit and charge you past it. No matter how much cleaning up fixing you did to the place (because it's already destroyed when you move in) they just use that as an excuse to charge you more.

Negative experience: AVOID!!!! Do everything you can to avoid renting or working with Steed Corry Property. They tried to charge us for something we had in their work order for 6 months. This means we went without lights in certain areas becasue they would never come fix it. They kept our whole deposit and charged us extra even though they said we could go in and fix issues and never gave us the chance to do so.

Fantastic experience: It been a long time since I used steed-correy. I was always ahead on my rent. Had an issue with a broken pipe, from water tap outside. It did take a little bit to get fixed. I had to take pic to get them to fix it. And they did. I had to have the carpet replaced due to the water. I had my dad take over the lease and it was simple. My dad ended up dying before the lease was up. Since the rent was all paid up. They worked with me to give us time to get out before the lease ended. It was one less thing I had to worry about. I would highly recommend these guys/gals anytime. They took care of us when they didn't have too. They gave us compassion in a time that was hard on us. Thank you ladies. If I was to move back I would definitely use them again.

Negative experience: I recently had a terrible experience with Steed-Corry Property Management while searching for a rental in the Fiddlers Cove Townhomes. They are clearly trying to take advantage of out-of-state renters, especially those from California, by charging exorbitant prices—$300 more than similar units in the area! I was shown a townhouse listed at $1900 a month, but what I found was shocking. The neighboring patio was a complete disaster, with over a hundred piles of dog waste accumulated over the years, right next to the outdoor dining area and kitchen. This is not just an eyesore; it’s a health hazard! For anyone who enjoys spending time on their patio or likes to keep their windows open, this is a major red flag. To make matters worse, the neighbors have a massive dog that barks incessantly, adding to the already unpleasant living conditions. I also noticed that I would be living next to student housing, with multiple roommates sharing the space and three different cars parked outside. It’s clear that Steed-Corry does not manage all the units in the complex, which means they have no real authority to enforce any standards or address these issues. Fortunately, I found a similar unit nearby for only $1600 a month, next to a quiet retired couple, which has made all the difference. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you value your peace and quality of living. Steed-Corry Property Management is not worth the hassle!

Fantastic experience: Great experience renting from Steed Corry. I had a very easy time finding a place that was affordable and in a good location for my son and I. My lease perfectly outlined my expectations, and they were exceeded. Linda Steed is amazing and very open minded and easy to work with. Their maintenance team is quick and effective. Cannot recommend this business enough.

Negative experience: With long waits to get repairs done, and longer waits to here my intent to vacate was actually received, no different than any other property management company in Utah, will lie to your face about how nice and clean you left the unit and then proceed to nickel and dime your deposit away, like the over priced rent for the run of the mill units aren’t enough for them. Not to mention the maintenance guy forgot to hookup the dryer properly and thought it would be a great idea to fill the unit with gas. Like most places in Cedar City they realize options are limited and conduct business knowing so.

Fantastic experience: I rented from them for 8 yrs but moved into another apt with a friend and another Mgmt company and didn't like them. now trying to rent with them again. they are wonderful people, everyone is just awesome.

Negative experience: - 2014. to rent the first , in a town 19 miles north of Cedar C, Linda, they might not be ready fot me but the other apartment, $100 higher rent, would be ok for me. The availability of rentals in CC 2014 was very open and property owners and mgmt. companies were desperate to find renters. Anyone was accepted and rents were , , . . 2 $375/. $100 , . ? , . . . , . , , . , " , ." 2 . . , I was NOT evictedYou and your employers fabricated a story that had zero merit. You served me with a eviction but backed out when you realized it would not hold up in court. I paid rent because I received a notice that rent was due. I have all documentation to support my words. Why do you lie? Desperate for something. Evil is what you are. June 12 2024: Linda, I don't believe that there was even one word of truth in your response. Your slandering me could land you in civil legal trouble so, I suggest you desist. I was NOT evicted. As i told you previously, if you evicted me, I was going to contest it, after which you relented. Yes, I would be out of the apartment but, you would be bound to pay all of my costs because you were using a fraudulant claim as your official stated reason. Also, once you relented on the eviction, you no longer were able to meet time restraints on yhe original. You did NOT refile, nor was I ever notified of any hearings, court dates, etc. There is no record of an eviction anywhere, anytime, ever. I suggest your lies could be problematic. Your vindictive actions have cost me a lot of money, not to mention inconvieniencing a lot of people for the last 11 months. Continue doing what you've been doing. You are unprofessional and a bad business person.

Fantastic experience: I rented through Steed and Corry for about 5 to 6 years. Throughout my time they have been the best landlords. Whenever I had an issue they got right on it and got it fixed. Even through the pandemic they were great landlords. It was hard to lose them as a landlord as our rental property sold but they did there best to work with us. Wishing my new landlord in Alaska was as great as Linda, Loydine and Amber.

All the office staff are amazing and they know everyone by name and my kids come in and say hi to them when we come and make our payments would highly advise renting through Steve Corey if you're looking for a new place to live.

Negative experience: WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Linda is dishonest and only out to protect herself. Her contracts do not protect her tenants or landlords and you will have issues if you work with her. Please review the contracts very carefully and do not trust her.

Negative experience: They ARE really kind. Sadly, some of the people they hire can't always help in a timely manner (cockroaches not properly addressed to begin: they were here when we moved in, then exterminator couldn't come as much as needed. Surprised Steed-Corry didn't hire more &/or different exterminators & plummers. 1 of our hot water pipes burst & we couldn't get a plummer for 2 days 'cause a small fire in another 1 of their properties.) Black mold in basement when moved in, other people's crap in house when moved in, heater broke, water heater faulty, washer had to get fixed, refrigerator missing shelves when moved in, cat urine smell constantly returning from who knows how long ago, not sure when air return filter replaced last, toilet handle broke, doors falling off hinges, BIG drafts & gaps in front & back doors, broken windows, washer breaking when 1st came, yard had tons of trash when moved in, we're supposed to care for the yard (never had that in a rental from any1 yet . . . . am I missing anything? Kinda pricy considering all the problems: I've heard of places knocking price off rent 'cause of problems, not here.) Our "adventure" here not done yet, so who knows what else to come. (Maybe this place is just cursed?)

Negative experience: Property owners beware. I actually have to deal with the people Steed Corry rent to. Beer cans strew over the lawn, naked people in their garage, noise problems. They rent a number of houses around us. One of their tenants actually moved from the noise made by another tenant. I have no idea what liability this creates for the property owners. I'd find another company to take care of your property.

They bend over backwards to give tenants everything need to have a pleasant experience and home. The girls in the office are so pleasant to work with, and bring a smile to my face every time I go in their office. would recommend to anyone looking for a rental property in cedar city, Utah.

Fantastic experience: I've been with Steed-Corry for about 2 and a half years. They couldn't ask for friendlier and helpful service. They treat me like I matter. It's time to talk to them about painting and flooring so we'll see how that toes.

Fantastic experience: I was rather shocked to see a review saying that Steed Corry was "dishonest." All the times that I have dealt with them, they have been honest and upfront. I have never found them to be anything but helpful, and I have been exceptionally pleased with their service to me. I have recommended them to several people and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: Moving from California to Cedar City was a big move for us. We came here to visit- and loved it here, so we decided to move here to Cedar. Driving around we saw a sign for Steed Corry. So we called them up and had a friendly conversation with them. They called us in California to tell us that they had a place come up for rent that we would like, based on our criteria. We signed a year lease,moved in and a year later we moved out. We didnt move out because we hated it, we moved into a smaller place in town. Two of us and a cat, we didnt need a big 3 bedroom house with a two car garage on 2.5 acres, but this is originally fit well with what we wanted- a place in the country. We kept the place nice, and clean, and got a legitimate deposit back. Steed Corry was honest with our deposit, which people we know locally said is a rarity here. If we had a issue with anything, we called Steed Corry and they sent someone out right away. All in all- if/when we move from where we are in town, we are going to give Steed Corry a call and let them know a few months in advance to see if they can get us in one of their places. Linda, Loidene, and the staff are all friendly and courteous.

Negative experience: Very poor business practices! One of their maintenance men is a convicted violent criminal and was recently charged with burglary as well. I would strongly advise that anyone considering using this company reconsiders! You, your family, and your belongings will not be safe with them!
