Negative experience: This company is absolutely terrible. This review is past due but it needed to be made. A property I used to live at was bought out by Bridgepoint and Brantley took over.. he was stuck up and didn’t have any respect for anyone. We moved out and never received our deposit back. We emailed, text, and called the business and absolutely nothing. Over a year later and we have not received a penny or a response. This was mine and my boyfriend’s first apartment. Financially we could not afford to just lose that much money.

Fantastic experience: Request was answered and taken care of very quickly and efficiently, was very pleased

Negative experience: Make sure Bridgepoint Property Management does not manage before you rent!! If I could give them a 0 I would! They don’t deserve a star at all. Very bad communication, no sense of urgency or interpersonal skills. Property manager Brantley from Charleston location is very unprofessional and rude! Wish they had never taken over property where I live( but will soon be used to live). They brush problems off and will give you the run around. Have the nerves to get upset when you complain! Shows no empathy or concern.. list goes on but reviews speak in numbers! I’m not the only one! Update to review- Was threatened by Mr. Brantley to take review down or receive a 30 day notice to vacate! My unit is leaking and they are giving me the run around. So I will be moving due to notice received.

Negative experience: Poor management..... please do not rent any apartment on 2405 VANSTORY ST Greensboro NC 27407 Full of roaches, bad roof, doors and kitchen. This people dose not respond to your phone call or emails.

Positive experience: I’m a landlord. This company is OK. They collect rent but aren’t as efficient as they should be. Higher vacancies than there should be, don’t do work that was requested in a timely manner, and poor communication. They also refuse to put their contact information at the front of the property.

Negative experience: Awful, dishonest people who don't care about their tenants. Won't fix issues like roaches, mold, broken things, etc. Brantley would rather evict you than to fix things that a landlord is REQUIRED to do.

Negative experience: Do yourself a favor and run away from this company. This place has a complete lack of professionalism. Definitely believe the other one-star reviews out there. Owner or tenant. This place has become nothing but problems. Maybe they were decent once upon a time, but no more. Brantley does not return calls or questions when it is something that does not benefit him. When you can finally get a hold of him, lies, condescending behavior and childish remarks are all he's got. His tactics are to first ignore, then distract and stall, then finally flat out lie and get angry. This place has a complete lack of professionalism. I do not do many reviews, but this one is needed for your benefit.

Fantastic experience: Spoke with Julia and she answered my many questions and was great in assisting me and pointing me in the right direction. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and look forward to working with her in the future.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars! Julia Hartsell was professional, friendly, and quick to respond to calls/ texts. If you need a property managed, not only is Bridgepoint your best option, but Julia will exceed your expectations!

Negative experience: Individuals were very unprofessional and rude. They never returned my phone calls regarding an application I placed. They had instructed me to apply, when they had already leased the property out. Waste of money and time.

Fantastic experience: great property, caring staff

Negative experience: Apartment comes as is, no work is done before you moved in, after I was told, they was just missing odds and end pieces. And they would come fix it. My refrigerator broke, and I had to go 2 weeks without a properly working fridge. Was also told its not they fault to replace the food that went bad. I spoke to the OWNER. And he told me seems like your not happy. And your more than welcome to move out. He didn't even ask which building, or apartment I was in to fix the problem. (Let alone that I am one of the one's that pay on time, and don't give any problems). I highly don't recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great management company! Brantley has been taking care of my place for a couple of years now and I couldn’t be more pleased. Any issues are dealt with or brought to my attention promptly and he always returns calls/messages. Not only that but they charge lower fees than their competitors. Thank you guys!

Negative experience: Property managers and my upstairs neighbor plotted to force me out of my apartment by placing her camera by my front door and said I stole it. On Jan.17 2021. She bust out my bedroom window, banging on my son's car and attacked my daughter for asking her to show her on her phone where I went upstairs and stole her camera. She had no evidence that I stole it. I had been in the apartment all day and cooking for my son and his girlfriend. They moved my neighbor still close to me where she could still bully me and banned my daughters because they were standing up for me and on top of that they moved her brother upstairs in her apartment. I felt trapped. I had to get the police to take me over my daughter's house. I wasn't about to stay there with a broken window and her brother above. She had already told me he was coming. Tahisha Thompson, Abigail, Dandrea Turner, the upstairs neighbor are in something illegal. I wouldn't be surprised if Brantley, from corporate is in on it too, being that he wasn't trying to hear me out on the phone. He was very rude. If that hadn't happened Sunday my daughters would have not come. These people are crooked, don't want to fix anything, but want the rent money. The window still not fixed. There's a lot more to this. But I will tell the media, they need to get expose for the crooks they are.

Positive experience: Can be hard to get in contact depending on time of year but they always get back to ( might just take a bit).

Fantastic experience: No or water bill.

Negative experience: They literally installed a new water heater after that it blew up in my house and almost started a fire at 1:30 am not how water since took them three days just to look at it and walk back out. That was last year haven't had hot water yeas currently still don't since last year. The lack of accountability is disturbing. It's the middle of a snow storm. Thank you so much bridgepoint property management my 8 year old daughter and 5 year old son really appreciate not being able to take a shower.

Fantastic experience: Very responsive. Resolved any issues that arose quickly. We have rented a lot over the past 10 years and have not always been treated very well. Bridgepoint is a "class act" that treats their lessees and lessors with equal respect and care.

Negative experience: Not accountable at all to tenant.  Slow to respond to deficiencies at rental property.  Burden is on the tenant to put in his/her time to make phone calls and follow-up phone calls to get even minor deficiencies looked at. They do not respond at all to deficiencies entered online.  It's exhausting and frustrating dealing with them and they are deserving of less than 1 star.

Fantastic experience: Brantley and team are in a whole different league. Charleston is filled with landlords who couldn't care less, or flat out don't respond. Their team was always quick to respond, very respectful, I'm honestly sad to leave!!

Fantastic experience: So far communication has been great..my fiancé and I have been interacting with Caitlyn and she has been wonderful. We were able to see the property the same day we called. We had the leased signed and deposit put down by the next day. Ready to move in 1/1/20. Apartment was very clean also had new appliances. Caitlyn allowed my fiancé, my daughter, my mom and I to roam around the home freely without breathing down our backs about how great the property was. Amazing experience! Was able to make deposit payment online and looks like rent can also be paid online.

Fantastic experience: One of the best companies in the Charleston area to rent from. Brantley is always quick to respond to any questions or help his tenants to the best of his ability. If you want to work with someone that is easy-going but extremely professional this is your company.

Negative experience: This is Scentura Washington giving an update. I cant edit my last comment but i will flood ALL the reveiws with my review...Shall I start....RUN WHILE YOU CAN! SLUM LORDS! Put in a work order a week ago about NUMEROUS ISSUES including mold! I have two kids by the way nobody followed up to see what the problem is or notified us of what’s actually going on. Called repeatedly this week NICE about the situation until Today. Sink in the kitchen CLOGGED as well as in the bathroom. Havent been able to wash dishes( that also means no cooking) standing water from the sink has the apartment with a funny smell. Called today irate because no one has called me back and who wants to come home to a stink apartment only to get told “ They will get to me when they can and my issues arent a real Emergency.” Whoa wait i sent this a week ago and not to mention i have kids. Mold is growing in our hallway(second time) bathroom ceiling is leaking (The 4th time this has happened)(Oh did i mention mold is grownup there too and the ceiling is cracking) Clogged drains downstairs, laundry room line set spouts out a gallon of water when we wash our clothes. (Guess what!! Mold is there as well) Did I mention I notified them since LASt FRIDAY at 10:03AM. NO ONE FOLLOWED UP OR CAME BY TO INSPECT THE PROPERTY So I HAVe EVERy RIGht To bE FURIOuS!!! Im posting this ON EVERY WEBSITE as a review until something gets done and I will Be seeking legal Counsel. We have been here for 9 years! Only to be told by Brantley your lease is up in a couple of months move. Wow really. BEWARE!!!!

Fantastic experience: Brantley and his team at Bridgepoint Property Management have continued to exceed my expectations. Not only are their rates lower than the 10% standard fee, but their customer service is excellent. My calls and emails are quickly answered and resolved. I trust them with my property while I am stationed on the other side of the world in Japan. Great group of people!

Fantastic experience: When looking to rent our home, I was pleased to see that Brantley (Bridgepoint Property Management) concurred on the fair market rental price we were asking as compared to the other property management companies that gave us "low balls" in the hopes of renting an immaculate home quickly. Our home was rented within a month and from my communications with Brantley, they have been very attentive to the few minor tenant concerns.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Bridgepoint Property Management as an owner for almost a year. Prior to this I had an independent person managing my property and unfortunately let the house go into disarray. So after getting the house back in order I choose to go with a professional company. Researched and contacted over a half dozen property management companies in the Tri-County area. Of all of the companies that I have dealt with Bridgepoint Properties seemed to fit the best. Brantley and his group are responsive to phone calls and emails. They took our requests of what type of renter we wanted in the house and performed the necessary leg work to get that type of renter. When there was a questionable renter that was looking he would personally call me to discuss things (this happened several times until we found our current renter). They have assisted in maintaining the property, have been diligent in notification of concerns. Charge market price for repairs and management fees. The worked judiciously when I was having repair people come in along with other individuals to view the house for financial reasons. About the only down side I can give to the company is that the management portal is a little clunky, but I have no real experience with other systems so cannot say that this is the normal or not. will stay with them until I sell the house and then after that would go back with Bridgepoint to management other properties.

Negative experience: Don’t use! Run! I tired to edit my other comment and wouldn’t let me. So let me clarify I never threatened and was this evil person. Brantley and his company are very poor business people. I admitted I should have had renters insurance. However they took no responsibility for the mold that got my kids sick because of their lack of knowing how make sure a situation is fixed. Instead use some handyman who by his own admittance said hey should have had a mold mediation company come out. I can provide doctors bills of the mold and ALL correspondence to show he’s lying. Contact me if you would like to see. I tried the legal route but he was right I should have had renters. I assumed all people are kind hearted and was proven wrong when met this disgraceful company.

Fantastic experience: I am an area realtor and have many clients that work with Bridgepoint PM. I finally had an opportunity to use them on my personal rental. They did a great job in finding a tenant, so I was left with 0 DAYS OF VACANCY! Very pleased!

Fantastic experience: Moving from out of town. It’s not a easy situation to look for a rental property while living three hours away. Today when we got into town we looked up some houses and started calling to set up some properties for us to look at. They did not have anybody available. The secretary apologized and took my information to call if they happened to have someone available. Three minutes after the phone call she calls back and tells me she is going to come out and show me the property I was interested in! All the way out of her way about 40 minutes! I was so thrilled since no other management company even returned my calls all week! The house by the way, amazing! We are summiting our application shortly. Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: This company is great to deal with and always friendly and courteous and happy to hear from you regardless of the situation. They will go the extra mile to make sure your property is leased to good tenants and make sure your property is well taken care of. I especially have had a good experience with Brantley. Also, they are very reasonable as far as fees. I would highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Not happy with our situation with this company. First we had a leak under the sink. They came to fix it instead of calling professional. They claimed fix turns out not where the leak was. Kitchen ended up flooding. Bad. They had a really great handyman come out. He fixed the leak but he was not a mold professional by his own confession. With the severity of the leak they should of had someone inspect it. Fast forward few months yikes in kitchen started cracking. Made sure informed them. More tiles cracked confined to inform. A week ago I was cooking in kitchen and stepped thru the sub floor. The entire sub floor was rotted out in the kitchen and maybe more. At least 15k in damages. Currently living in hotel with two kids two dogs. We thought we had renters insurance and we did not. My fault. The home owner was unaware of the severity of the issues by their own admittance. They are paying out of pocket for us hotel but also have to pay for repairs. They do not have a ton of money. We asked for assistance from Bridgepoint and they refused and said I should have had renters insurance. (True) however this would not have been as severe of they properly took care of and did what was supposed to be done as opposed to saving a few dollars. I have been in contact with property owner and they said I should not have to pay for lodging that Bridgepoint should be responsible as this is largely heir fault. The home owners are amazing and we’re trying to work something out bypassing the property management company as they are no help and appear to not care. If you value your home, rental, or vacation property I would steer clear of this company. I have documentation of everything but because I’m seeking legal counsel was told not to post everything online however will post pictures of the floor. They have handled everything from coordinating remediation of damage from a ruptured sprinkler head in one property to helping me change out a HVAC and water heater in another. Fantastic experience: It was suggested to give Bridgepoint a call by my realtor who sold us the town home we bought to rent. After contacting Bridgepoint it has been smooth sailing. Bridgepoint responds immediately to any questions I have . The website and system they have to deliver payment and graph out the progress your unit is at is second to none. I plan on more units in the near future and will again call Bridgepoint.
