Fantastic experience: I honestly don't know how I would have sold my home without the expertise, care, honesty, tenacity, foresight & patience of Shelly. I was desperate to sell my home due to unexpected health issues which forced me back to Florida. My home needed a lot of TLC to be purchase worthy. I was lost & had no ideas of how I would sell home & how I would complete all the work that had to be completed. From the first time I met Shelly, she gave me hope. She was not unrealistic given all the work that had to be done but at least she gave me hope. Shelly immediately went to work developing a plan to get my home sold which included construction & logistics & unexpected events. Shelly was like a magician with the ability to pull rabbits out of a hat. No matter what project, big or small, needed completing, she managed to secure the resources to get it done. At times, I did not know which direction to go & Shelly was able to professionally guide me so that I was able to make good decisions. The road to selling my home was long with many obstacles however, obstacles never seemed to be an issue for Shelly. I really do not know how I would have sold my home without Shelly as I KNOW no other realtor would have tirelessly & selflessly put in so much work to help me. I developed an enormous amount of faith in Shelly as I watched her plan work from day one. I am forever grateful to her not only for her professional realtor services but also for her kindness & compassion during an extremely stressful time for me. Fantastic experience: Shelly is extremely personable, helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough. She helped in the sale of our last house and is currently helping us on our adventure to purchase land. Shelly makes sure to bring any information that she can to the table and gives honest answers and personal recommendations. Negative experience: I cannot speak to Ms. Dunnington's performance in listing a property on behalf of a client, but as the purchaser of a property listed by Ms. Dunnington AND the neighboring property owner, I have some ethical concerns regarding Ms. Dunnington's behavior. In short, while preparing my neighbor's property for sale (and again, I was ultimately the buyer several months later), Ms. Dunnington and an unidentified male took a chainsaw onto my property without permission to chop up trees. This was not at a location close to the property line; this was over 300' onto the property. I believe the intent was to clear a recent blow down along a trail to Mill Creek which passes across my property, but Ms. Dunnington should have sought my permission beforehand -- or at least notified me of her intent. As can be seen from screenshots taken from my security footage, I was outside installing a paver walkway at the time and readily available. The area Ms. Dunnington entered is a high-value protected wetland; Mason County could have held me liable for unauthorized tree removal over this episode. In the security footage, both the neighbors and Ms. Dunnington can be seen looking in my direction before entering the forest. This does not speak well about her character. In the end, they left the debris for me to clean up; the attached photo shows what I found the following afternoon, which prompted a review of the security footage to determine what had happened. Ultimately, this was one of the deciding factors in choosing to purchase the lot -- the creek access created a liability and purchasing the lot allowed me to terminate the access. I would caution property owners abutting a parcel which Ms. Dunnington is marketing to keep an eye on her activities. As for those utilizing Ms. Dunnington's services to sell their property, you're probably in great hands. She appears quite willing to go out on a limb to make that sale! 05-01-2024 Update: Ms. Dunnington has responded to my reviews on websites where I cannot post photos denying any knowledge of the events; notably, she has not responded on websites where photographic proof can be posted. Instead of recognizing her mistakes and opting to improve herself, she chooses to obfuscate where she can. This clearly speaks to her ethics. There are many realtors out there -- and absolutely no reason to use this one.

Fantastic experience: Shelly helped make our dreams come true by getting us into our first house! She is very responsive. We had a very unprofessional lender and Shelly fought for us to close the deal. She is kind, will do anything for her clients, and we can't recommend her or thank her enough for all she did for us.

From our first contact with Shelly (she was attending a birthday party when we called her on a weekend after seeing her sign at the property...), it was apparent that she was well informed and attentive. In all of our interactions, Shelly gave us the impression that our questions and concerns were her number one priority. (A great deal of patience is required when overly inquisitive and under-informed older couples are attempting to purchase real estate and Shelly certainly proved that she was a very patient and gracious individual throughout the process!) Surprises are not commonly recognized as positive attributes of property purchases, but the only unexpected quality of our experience with Shelly was how much less stressful and complicated the process turned out to be.
