Negative experience: I called to inquire about a place and tried to schedule to look at it and the girl who finally answered the phone after days or trying was so rude and unhelpful. She seemed as if I was bothering her and did not want to answer any questions . She then told me in order to look at it I have to pay and fill out an application. I thought this was odd I have to pay to see a home and apply for it before I see it ? She then said “yup if you wanna see it you have to “ then hung up .

Fantastic experience: I rented a 2 bed 1 bath at Broadway Lofts while I was here at CGSC, and I had a great experience. I was a geo-bachelor, so the space worked out great. The location is super close to post. The maintenance guy did an unbelievable job and worked hard to get every job done as fast as possible. The portal was super easy to use and made auto payments and maintenance requests super easy. I would highly recommend Greenamyre Rentals and living at Broadway Lofts.

Negative experience: My experience with Greenamyre Rentals has been extremely disappointing, especially when it comes to respecting tenant privacy and maintaining professional communication. Throughout my lease, the biggest issue was the lack of boundaries from management. There were several occasions where the property manager Crystal Dooley would come as close to the property without actually “being” on the property. I can vividly recall a time where Crystal was “driving past” down the and even stopped her car to look into the front windows of the home I was renting. This kind of behavior made me feel uncomfortable and constantly on edge in what should have been my private living space. From that point on I did not feel that my privacy was safe so I was forced to keep the blinds shut. In addition to the privacy concerns, communication was a constant struggle. Phone calls and emails were routinely ignored, making even the simplest issues difficult to resolve. There was even one time that I couldn’t get in contact with Crystal so I showed up at her office just for her to tell me that I needed an appointment to address my concerns. She proceeded to make me leave and give me a nasty attitude. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with a “family” company that is so unresponsive and unreliable. There is nothing family friendly about this company all they want is your money. If you’re looking for a rental company that respects your space and communicates with basic professionalism, Greenamyre is not it. I would not recommend renting from them to anyone who values peace of mind and respectful treatment.

Negative experience: PLEASE READ!! I’m writing this review to warn others about my disturbing experience with Crystal Dooley, the property manager for Greenamyre Management. She has consistently shown a complete lack of professionalism and respect for tenant privacy and boundaries. On more than one occasion, Crystal has come onto the property unannounced and has even looked into the windows of my house, which I was renting at the time. This behavior is not only inappropriate—it’s invasive and incredibly unsettling. No tenant should ever have to feel like their privacy is being violated in their own home. What makes the situation worse is her overall attitude. Crystal is difficult to contact I had to call her over 10 times in a row just to get her to pick up the phone. She rarely responds to calls or emails, and seems more interested in asserting control than actually managing the property with integrity. She crosses lines that no property manager should, and Greenamyre Management has done nothing to hold her accountable. If you're looking for a rental company that respects its tenants, Greenamyre is not it. The lack of communication, disregard for privacy, and general unprofessionalism make it very clear that tenant wellbeing is not a priority. I would never recommend this company—or any property managed by Crystal Dooley—to anyone.

Negative experience: My experience with Greenamyre Management over the past year has been nothing short of frustrating and stressful. From the very beginning, the property manager, Crystal, has made living at this property incredibly difficult. She has repeatedly harassed me by driving down the private alleyway in front of our home, seemingly just to find things to complain about. Her behavior has felt invasive and unnecessary. Communication has also been a serious issue. Crystal is extremely difficult to get in touch with—she consistently fails to return phone calls or emails, making it nearly impossible to resolve even simple concerns. On top of that, her overall demeanor is unprofessional and dismissive. The final straw was when the Greenamyre office lost my official notice of non-renewal, then turned around and blamed me for it. Despite doing everything on my end to notify them properly, I was forced to pay another month’s rent for a house that will be completely vacant. This kind of negligence and unwillingness to take responsibility is unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering renting from Greenamyre Management to look elsewhere. You deserve a landlord who is responsive, respectful, and professional—qualities that this company clearly lacks.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst rental company to use in Leavenworth. Have been trying to get in contact with the property manager for a month about leaving my notice of termination. After getting zero responses back I took matters into my own hands and delivered my termination notice to the office assistant. Now the property manager is saying that they do not have my notice for lease termination. Still unwilling to work with me they are forcing me to pay an extra months rent when the house will be vacant. This is not the only issue I have had with the property manager either. When I first moved in she would constantly show up to house UNANNOUNCED to be nosey and make complaints about how the cars are parked in the driveway. But wait There is more, a stray cat that was living outside during the winter and when the property manager would show up UNANNOUNCED she tried to accuse us of having a “domesticated” pet on the property. Tried to get us to pay for the rental pet upcharge. Overall, if you are looking for a good rental company or in Leavenworth GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. These people do not care about your privacy and will refuse to work with you on issues.

Fantastic experience: 104 S. 5th St Things to know: 1.You do not feel as if you’re a renter, you will feel more like this is another company ready to take your money. 2.Upon move in you have admin fees but you are required to provide utility connection numbers, rental insurance etc etc. So basically you get charged the fee but do the foot work. 3.You will be met with the fee chart when signing your lease and told how they will charge you back is based off their determination. In the same breath they’ll tell you to remember its a rental when you do your own self move in checklist. 4.They will not pay for pest control, you have to provide your own. They will increase your rent, even if you’re like me and pay on time, quiet, keep clean, good tenant. 5.At move out you will need to have the carpets steam cleaned, not shampooed. Use Duckys because thats who the landlord uses. $130. Dont take the risk of having admin fees and other things charged on top of the carpet cleaning bill. It only takes them about 35 minutes and they are out and the carpets are clean. 6.They don’t disclose that there will be main events where the street is blocked off. Therefore, you are not prepared or nowhere to park. found this out the hard way when I went outside one day and my vehicle was gone. Luckily it was moved over by the municipal building in the city paid for the tow. 7.the apartments are cute, but for some reason, they keep this nasty green church looking carpet in the stairwells and the main hall. That needs to be ripped up and thrown out. you wouldn’t believe how many people think your apartment is gonna be ugly and trashy because they see that green carpet and wanna run back to the street . 8.Jetz is the company they use for the washers and dryers. They are a lousy company that does not properly repair the machines. They can get you by a pinch, but I would not use them. The dryers did work fine. 9.there are nine apartments total in this building. There is no reason why they only provide two large trash cans. There are many times where the hallway and stairwells stink from trash because people have to leave their bags of trash on the floor or the lids are left open, overflowing. 10.if your apartment comes with a circular mercury thermostat just know that it does not read correctly and it will run if you’re not paying attention. I personally bought a digital thermometer and was able to find the true temperature of the apartment. 11.for some reason the landlord does not tell you that there is an alley exit and that is the easiest way to get moved in and out of the building because the stairwell is straight up and you turn right and it’s another straight shot. The other two entrances are the absolute worst. No there is not an alarm on the alley door. 12.when you look at the unit, you better take pictures and videos then and there because you will not be showing the apartment again. 13.when you are viewing the apartment don’t waste your time asking how much the utilities run because the landlord will promptly tell you that she does not know that. It will actually make you think that it’s someone filling in for the landlord, but no, be aware that is how the landlord carries herself. Kind of an attitude of you either want it or you don’t. I recall a handful of times being asked is that it when i viewed the apartment ,quite annoying whenever you’re trying to figure out prices and if it’s a good fit for you. 14. Electric can range $80-$140 when hot out. Gas is $35-$90 when cold. naturally, your gas bill will be higher and your electric bill will be lower or vice versa depending on the season. 15. The apartments are not all priced the same mine $175 higher than my neighbor due to size but was never offered the cheaper vacant apt. If you are a quiet, clean tenant that reports things that need repairs as needed, and you keep a levelheaded approach with the landlord then you will be fine. The landlord comes often intimidating and cold, but she was fair and I never had an issue. I hope she finds her smile and a warmer firm approach.

Negative experience: Whomever they are using as their customer service is incredibly lazy and unfriendly. She is the reason we went with another property management. She assumed that because the price was low, that questions weren't meant to be asked. We were supposed to just dive right in. These are lives being moved sometimes from vastly different places. Some attention to detail and information is critical and not too much to ask of a rental company!

Negative experience: Apartment rental from hell. The "wannabe upscale" 1 1/2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in a historical building with a whopping price tag of $1100 per month was dirty upon move in, complete with carpet that stunk, fingernails in the floor, disgusting washing machine/dishwasher, and some of the previous tenant's belongings. There were 28 maintenance issues over 11 months and a noisy neighbor that shouted out profanities and made obscene noises incessantly. The noisy neighbor issue was never resolved. They have some great pictures of model units online that look nothing like the unit you will receive and provide no pictures of the actual unit upon request. I have rented apartments/houses for 20 years and have never had an experience as negative as this one. I advise avoiding Greenamyre Rentals.

Fantastic experience: I have only been renting from the Greenamyre Management since June, but during this time I have loved being at my residence. The maintenance crew have been wonderful, I needed assistance with my blinds and they were very quick to help make it right. The ladies in the office are very polite and welcoming. I had an issue with my pet and Crystal went above and beyond to fix the problem. I would recommend renting from Greenamyre Management.

Fantastic experience: I consider Greenamyre a premier provider of rental properties in the Leavenworth/Lansing area - this is not a hobby but rather a rental empire - properties are hight quality in many price ranges. Construction and service is provided internally plus offered to the general public and commercial and they purchase locally when available. First class operation.

Negative experience: I have tried numerous times to reach the Vice President- Jeremy Greenamyre to report the intense unprofessional and discriminating attitude of property manager Crystal Dooley. When I write a review, I believe in telling factual events. Therefore, I'm going to lay out what I'm currently experiencing with this rental company. There is no simple way for me to write the next statement.... For the past 2 years my husband and I experienced rental increases of $65.00 per year. At first we thought nothing of the increases. We knew due to the pandemic that inflation was causing rental agencies to raise their prices in outrageous ways to take advantage of instability within the housing market. However, our neighbors only experienced rental increases of less than $25.00. In addition, we are currently paying "the new market rate" while our neighbors still pay roughly the same rate as my husband and I when we first moved in (the units are exactly the same). As the only African American tenants in this community, per year my husband and I are paying hundreds of dollars more in rent than our neighbors (who are Caucasian). When we attempted to speak to the property manager Crystal about this discriminating arrangement, she brushed us off stating "She is not allowed to discuss tenant rates and she is only doing what her boss tells her to do". Let me make this clear- we never asked Crystal to discuss any tenant personal rates with us. We already knew their rates because our neighbors were more than willing to talk to us. I emailed Jeremy Greenamyre about numerous concerns that we had and after one reply, he ignored my last two emails. It is not just the rental rates that have us frustrated. After speaking with our neighbors, my husband and I realize that many of the services we request such as painting our vaulted ceiling and other important services are being denied. However, when our neighbors request almost the same services, they are approved. I understand what I'm writing is going to make this rental company retaliate against me and my husband. They practically own everything around our community including Besel Home Improvement services. The Greenamyre company is family owned and operated. As of today, I have not seen one person of color on any of their websites working for them. No matter the response they place on this review, I will always tell the truth and never allow anyone to treat me like a second-class citizen. It's interesting, when I read through the positive reviews for Greenamyre, I realize they are from Caucasian people. I guess Crystal goes above and beyond for certain individuals. Fantastic experience: We absolutely cherished our time at Broadway Loft Apartments! I was able to walk to Fort Leavenworth daily (Gruber Gym and CGSOC). A great Mexican restaurant is down the block. A lovely half mile walk gets you downtown and to the Farmer’s Market. Splendid abode with your own laundry facilities. Manager is highly responsive. Clean and well kept. We had only positive experiences.

When I contacted them about the property I was interested in, Crystal, especially, was very kind and helpful. They made the process quick, easy and very understandable for me, as this was my first time doing a lease on my own. If something breaks in my apartment, they are very efficient with the work orders that I have put in, some were even responded to and fixed within that day of putting the work order in. I strongly recommend Greenamyre Rentals if you're looking for a place to rent!

Fantastic experience: The ambience of this place (Broadway Lofts) is great. They fully achieved the feel they were going for here. High ceilings, large windows, it's awesome. I can walk to the Lewis and Clark building in 30 minutes, bike ride is 13. Greenamyre Rentals (Crystal Dooley) was great in helping me get an apartment here. I completed the entire process digitally and was able to move door-to-door with no issues. Improves: 1. A community grill would be nice. 2. Some free weights in the work out area would be much appreciated!

Fantastic experience: We've lived in Greenamyre duplexes for over 3 years. We owned our own home for over 45 years but decided to downsize and rent. We went to Greenamyre's and the helped us find a very nice duplex. A year later we needed something smalker with fewer steps so again Greenamyre's stepped up and helped obtain a better suited duplex for our immediate needs. It's great knowing our lawn will be mowed and anytime we have a maintenance problem they're always there quickly and it's handled efficiently. The office staff are super nice and the maintenance people have always been friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks Greenamyre for making our renting experience enjoyable.

She was willing to answer all of my questions and always got back with me very quickly. The apartment I moved into was in great condition and was like new! I had a small issue with the bath tub and the maintenance was there within 20 minutes to fix it and did an amazing job. Negative experience: I've attempted to contact this company three times, via email on their 'contact us' link, regarding property management for my home in Leavenworth, KS, and have not heard back. I'm currently deployed overseas and phone contact is extremely inconvenient. I assumed email through their website would suffice. Any reply would have been appreciated.
