Fantastic experience: Working with Peter was such a joy! I was a first-time home buyer, so I had no idea what to expect but he was so patient and walked me through the process. He also really looked out for me and best suited me and my budget. This process is scary and intimidating but Peter made me feel at ease throughout the process. He kept me updated with biweekly check ins. Things were going very well, and I found a place quickly and we placed an offer, and it got accepted! It was exciting until we had the inspection done, there was major foundation damage and Peter was great at advising me to back out of the deal. After that offer I had to wait a few months because the market was dry, but Peter kept checking on me making sure I did not get discouraged. I then made a pivot in what I was looking for and he was supportive and quickly gave me options. We had a showing just two days after I let him know what I was looking for. He negotiated to get the initial offer price lowered, a seller credit for my closing costs and the seller to pay for home warranty! One of my favorite things about working with him is that he is knowledgeable and gave me so much great advice but ultimately let me make the decision. Fantastic experience: It's been a busy and exciting time since Peter helped us close on our home in Carmel. I've been waiting for a quiet moment to do this review justice. But every day, Peter does more for us - even after our close! TLDR: work with Peter. He's the right choice. He's just amazing. Let me show you. First - we were seeking to buy a vacation home. So we were working from out of town. We were happy to drive to Carmel of course, but we couldn't waste time when we got there. Peter was always organized, prepared and on time when we arrived. When we were ready to make an offer, Peter counseled us on how the negotiation would go - and where we would likely end up on price. I appreciated this, because we didn't want to waste time and emotional energy on a negotiation that wouldn't end up where we needed it to be. Well, Peter was spot on and the negotiation ended up exactly at the price he predicted. He also found us fantastic, local title and insurance agents. Talk about knowing the market. So then the painful process of closing the loan. Our lender was an unbelievable PITA. They made mistake after mistake. Wrong address on the contract. Wrong contract price. Losing documents we had already submitted. Asking for impossible things and then - after Peter explained - realizing they didn't need it. And the delays.... We were pushing up against our contract closing date and I was really starting to panic. Peter shepherded the whole thing through, and kept me calm to boot. So maybe you are thinking, sure, lots of professional agents can do all this. BUT - after they give you a sweet closing gift and hand you the keys, they're done, right? Not Peter. He has helped us find contractors, including the most amazing do-it-all site manager. Peter drives over to meet deliveries at the house. He counsels us on how to manage process, what we should do now versus later, community "unwritten rules" for neighbors and city regs. And the best places for coffee, sushi, or a quick sandwich. Fantastic experience: Peter was referred to me by my brother and I couldn't be happier with the decision to use him for selling my property. Peter is a hard worker and was on top of everything from day one. He knew exactly what updates to make to get the top dollar for the property without spending any money unnecessarily. He has a network of contractors that did great work, in a timely fashion, and at a great price. Peter oversaw every aspect of the work including designing the landscaping. Fantastic experience: A lot of people told me he is the best realtor they've encountered. I didn't believe in such highly esteemed praise until I had experienced his service first hand. After working with him twice, I can personally attest to his professionalism and expertise. I tried to buy a house on Pacifica Grove in 2019. I contacted Peter and told him that I am interested in that house. Peter went to the county and pulled out the county records for thorough research before I first saw him. He showed me the blueprint of the house and advised me that even though the house lookee old, the house was newly built in 1993 due to a fire. He also analyzed the price point of that house and came to the conclusion that it was overpriced . He tried to help me make decisions regarding the price based on my interest in the house and the price point that the seller is willing to work with. I am a professional as well. I know how much work goes into preparation and research for each individual client. It frustrated me immensely and almost made me give up this opportunity. Peter, knowing that I loved the house, helped me out by doing the seller's agent work and ordered multiple extremely-detailed inspections. The people he hired were all very professional as well, showing impressive work ethics during the inspections. I am glad that Peter knows other specialists who are exceptional in their work as well. During several days’ inspections, Peter stood on site supervising the inspections and listened to the professionals’ opinions, most importantly explaining technical terms to me who had absolutely no knowledge of those terms. I know that Peter wanted me to make an informed decision. He took out a lot of his personal time for work, missing several meals over the few days. After the inspections, Peter gathered contractors’ quotes for all of the places that needed to be fixed. Then Peter tried very hard to persuade the seller and their agent on the price point I was aiming for. House inspection, plumbing, structure engineer, electricity specialist, heater inspection - a lot of inspections were done. The inspections gave me the confidence that Peter can help me to fix my dream house even if there is a lot of work to be done. Peter truly went the extra miles for the client's needs. In the end I paid a good price for the house. The difference in the price points provided me with the funds to fix additional issues with the house. Peter, as of now, is still working on those projects for me on the house after he already got his commission. I have worked with several realtors purchasing other houses. None of the other realtors had a work ethic as dedicated as Peter. I remember that my first realtor on my first house failed to specify non-fixture items in the garden, and I ended up with a Japanese garden with no plants and no Japanese lanterns that I was expecting. Fantastic experience: Peter is an AMAZING realtor. I went through the home buying process 3x with him in the span of a month. First home was an offer and a counter was made to me, then seller rejected all of the multiple offers (FYI...mine was a competitive offer). This awkward rejection was pretty devastating to my family and I, as it was a house that was very easily customizable. Peter convinced me the sellers weren't prepared to sell after our ordeal. He was 100% right and the sellers had their home on and off the market afterward throughout the next month in various capacities. Second attempt at a home....offer made and accepted.
