Negative experience: Stole $120+ in application fees as there was no credit minimums on the app or description. Already paid by card but they asked us to bring in cashiers check two days later to process us faster only for them to reject us via email at 7 next morning. Beware, there is a reason they made us bring in a chasers check as they knew they were rejecting and wanted the money guaranteed anyway. Then they literally lie in response to my review. Further evidence to not trust this company to fill out apps for rent. Wonder how much they make advertising a cheap price for a nice rental, then taking all those apps as long as possible before renting and taking it in app fees.

Fantastic experience: Limestone has changed my view of property management companies. They are briskly responsive to maintenance requests and have gone above and beyond to ensure our comfort in our rental home.

Negative experience: This company wanted my husband and I to separately fill out applications and pay $130 in fees just to tour a house. When we requested additional photos or a video tour, they declined to provide them, and the listing they posted omits the entire house, including any bathrooms, laundry room or garage.

Fantastic experience: I don’t even know where to start but Monica is an amazing woman she helped us so much with buying our house she is the sweetest person you will ever meet and will do anything for you to get into a new home or even your first home at that the team she has is amazing if I ever buy another house I will definitely use her

Negative experience: Terrible company to manage your property or as a realtor, do not use this company you will regret it.

Negative experience: We were looking at a rental, and Limestone was the property management company. The communication was almost non-existent; No professionalism whatsoever. Never returned calls, did not communicate that we needed to send more paperwork, and didn’t even bother to tell us the home owner decision. Steer clear.

Fantastic experience: As I was going through the process of purchasing my first house, they helped me a tremendous amount as all of this is new territory for me. They helped explain the pros and cons of going with new builds vs already existing homes. I have a hard work schedule with my time of hours of work are constantly changing from days, mids, and graveyard shifts and they were more then willing to work with me and my schedule. I was very pleased with how they were able to explained a whole new vocabulary relating to real estate that i had questions about.

Negative experience: They charged me $30 a month for a filter they replaced every 6 months. They initially told me when I moved in that my solar panel electricity deduction was already included through electricity company so i didn't get the deduction for 1.5 years of staying there (Admittedly electricity company also failed me there). When my a/c broke for 2 weeks in the middle of summer when it was over 100 every day they didn't try to make it right (said they weren't required to provide a/c). They were often slow to fix issues. I also left my place spotless (spent over 25 hours deep cleaning it) and even hired professional carpet cleaner only to have them take 90 dollars out of my refund check to clean the sink and microwave. Such a lie! I can't imagine what they would have charged us for if we didn't spend hours taking pictures on move in.

Fantastic experience: I was in one of Limestone Country Properties for 6 years and during that time period I have to say was one of the most enjoyable property companies that I had to deal with. I highly recommend them. If there ever was an issue they were quick to respond and any repairs were made in a very timely matter. They are very easy to work with, not only on any repair issues, but other matters regarding things in the neighborhood, activities and notifying of any issues that may arise. The staff is super nice and dealing with Chantel, Mark and Monica was very professional and courteous. Chantel went above and beyond when it came to any dealing I had with the property. I will miss having them as my property company, but if I ever needed to use one it will be with them. Thank you Limestone Country Properties.

Fantastic experience: As a tenant for 3 years, Limestone County Properties has always stood above our expectations. Any repairs we've submitted are responded to right away. A follow up is provided with the contractors name that will be scheduling the service call. Same day and within an hour of our request if not immediately. It's not common in our experience to lease through anyone that makes the owner and the tenants both a priority. We feel safe. We feel that we matter. We feel they care. They are professional and friendly. They are fair. An outstanding management company. I highly recommend them! If you're selling or buying a home, leasing your home or leasing from them, you are going to contract with a company you can trust. We signed another year lease with this home knowing we will always be provided with the best possible care. They do follow the owners expectations and requirements. We knew this before signing our lease. Everything is included in the lease. No surprises. We take pride in our home and the opportunity to reside here. We respect the owners requirements and expectations, as we all should. We had pipes bust on two separate occasions. Service was provided immediately to shut the water off and repair the pipes. Our air conditioner went out twice but not in the same year, in the very hot summer and again, service was provided immediately to fix that. They made us a priority. These were emergencies and they treated them as emergencies. They only contract with the best for service and repairs. Always professional, polite and the work provided is repaired correctly the first time. I've watched them. They have never cut corners. They take pride in their work. Times have changed. We don't see a lot of companies that are this dedicated. More often we hear the bad. They deserve to stand out because they are above and beyond. Thank you for all you do! You are greatly appreciated!

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Limestone Country Properties for over 8 years. Which in and of itself says a great deal. I had a house fire on 12-28-15. The staff and in particular Chantel were compassionate and very helpful. Not only did they find me a new place quickly they also lined up a team of volunteers to assist me in removing my damaged property. Their professionalism is top notch. Two thumbs up!!! I highly recommend them. January 22, 2024 Update. The relationship I have had with Limestone Country Properties has been awesome. Recently I utilized their Realtor Service, in particular Marie, to buy a home. Marie is extremely knowledgeable and made my buying experience most enjoyable. As you can see from the first post, it has been well over a decade that I have been assocaited with Limestone Country Properties. They are an awesome team. Thank you very everything, Chantel, Marie, Mark and the rest of the team.

Negative experience: DO NOT EVEN GIVE through this company they are extremely racist individuals!!!! They denied my wife and I because of our cultural background….NOTHING about our rental history!!! We’re so happy that we dodged this bullet and didn’t rent from them!!! I’ll save you the hassle!!! Property manager Chantel was extremely rude and unprofessional and blamed the “owner” for not letting us rent the house!!!

Fantastic experience: Breauna DeLong with Limestone helped me buy my first home and made the process so easy. Bre listened to my needs for a home and she helped me understand what to expect from a crazy real estate market. She helped me understand every part of the process to where I felt fully informed and able to make confident decisions the entire time. I would definitely consider using her again when I buy my next home and I highly recommend her to anyone else looking for a realtor.

Negative experience: I began the process of trying to rent from this company but in the end pulled out. Said my dog was ok but required bite insurance, wanted proof of all the shot records on the pet application (i think it's my business weather i want to give my dog a bunch of unnecessary vaccinations or not), and you are not allowed to ever have any pet visitors on the premise so hopefully your dog doesn't have friends. The backyard had no lawn so nowhere for the dog to go to the bathroom. On top of wanting pay stubs, they wanted tax returns which I thought was unusual and intrusive. I rented from Property Professionals previously and even though the maintenance was terrible, it was much easier to rent a place from them with less rules- I guess this company has trust issues. They would not agree to fix things that were needed until after I got approved. On top of the application fees there was a pet application fee, a pet courtesy fee (if the pet gets approved), a residential benefits fee of $65 per person a month (when we asked about this fee the agent had no idea what it was for and never got back to us on it). They will only work with you a few days on all this and then require you to get them everything by the end of the day or they will move on to the next applicant, you really feel like you're at their mercy even though you're giving them a bunch of money for the rental process. On the positive I will say after we pulled out of the deal, they did not charge us the applications fees which was nice of them, and we had good communication with the agent we were working with. We were willing to sacrifice the fees because we had a bad feeling about renting from them so this was a pleasant surprise. The space was a good price for the quality and size but everything else was just too complicated and rushed. I am getting an INCREDIBLE amount of email spam from submitting the pet application so there must be some kind of deal going there.

Negative experience: I'm not sure what's going on with this company. Lack of professionalism in multiple categories of how they conduct their business with rental properties. They were nearly impossible to reach over the phone, and when we were lucky enough to get someone on the phone, they acted like someone else was in charge of that information. What's sad is they didn't cover well for each other because we got conflicting reports on "who's in charge of that part of the application process". From reading the other reviews, it looks like it's on us for not giving up and saving the time and energy for a property from a different management company.

Negative experience: Their website lists properties which they do not actually manage. So when you see a property there you like, pay the application fee and complete an application, and pay the other company they require you to use for pet screening, you're just out that money. When confronted with the fact that their logo is all over the page with a large link to "rental application," they say it's your fault and all fees are nonrefundable. Predatory practices and legalized thievery.

Fantastic experience: My property manager uses this company for the work orders in my home. There very very professional there work is done the correct way the first time around anytime there called out they do an amazing job very neat and they even clean up any mess they make they have very quick response time and turn around time I have never waited more than two days for a repair ….there work really speaks volumes I highly recommend them for any repair needs.

Fantastic experience: My A/C unit didn’t come on @ 5:15pm on Friday afternoon. It wasn’t 100° or anything but it was muggy. Limestone Mainentence guy Mark, received my online work request & had classic A\C en route within the hour. I cannot stress, as a tenant, how nice it is to have such responsive property management people taking care of things when they could be a nightmare. Many thanks

Negative experience: Arrived after driving 10 hours with 2 very cranky kiddos at 1am to Water Wheel Condominiums. Went up stairs to get them to sleep. The towing company that the HOA (Limestone Properties) hires, towed my car at 130am. Since my parents rented the condo and they were sleeping at the time, they didn't even plan on giving us the parking pass until morning. Mind you there were 100+ open parking spots. $297 to hold my car from 1:30am to 10am when we could get allllllllllll the way to San Marcos to retrieve my car. The property management company was almost giggling on the phone because we were the 100th person they had to field this exact call from.

Negative experience: I was on hold for over 2 hours and no answer. As well as very strict housing policies.

Fantastic experience: Limestone is the best management company, period. Marie is the utmost professional and helped me for over 15 years while being in the Navy. Chantell is the most honest and responsive person. This team is trustworthy and my only complaint is that I do not have more places for them to be part of. Thank you for decades of service.

Fantastic experience: We have been using Limestone since we purchased a rental home in 2018. The best thing about their service is that they take care of any problem immediately. Mark is courteous, friendly and a regular bridge between our renters and us.

Fantastic experience: Breauna was by far the only Realtor I'll work with should I need to buy a home again. After serving active duty in the Air Force, I've rarely seen the discipline and attention to detail outside of the military that I've seen while working with Breauna. Her responses were ridiculously fast, she was on top of everything before I got to it (which is rare, as I am pretty quick), and I never had to worry about my best interests being at the front of her priorities. Her presentation was professional, her skill unparalleled, and her great personality made buying a home (at literally the WORST time in this economy), EFFORTLESS. If you need a realtor that won't disappoint, ask for Breauna and go with Limestone.

Negative experience: My Experiences with this Real Estate Company is less then good, whilst I did a 2 Hour Application and payed 20$ for a Petscreening before I even was approved or NOT!! THE entire Application just disappeared into the NIRVANA , but the 20$ was taken already out of my Account!! SERIOUSLY?? I even don't need this Petscreening when I don't have the Application finished!! This is WRONG!! The only response was "We didn't get anything!" Thanks for that INFO!! YOU are not my Guys!! ☺️

Negative experience: I rented from this company for 2.5 years and always followed the rules, paid my rent, didn’t give them any trouble, as they were the same... until I had an accident in the house I rented, which I did have rental insurance luckily. When it came time to do repairs instead of getting professionals to fix my living room they got their own people to fix it, not only was it fixed poorly, but they left my carpet loose, and didn’t put the trimming back on my windows, there were bumps on my ceiling, it was horrible. Me being the patient quiet person I am I did say something and they did come back and try to repair it but still left it looking poor. I let it go, I guess I was just being nice and didn’t want to make trouble. BIG MISTAKE.. Another thing they neglected was my fence, it fell down during a storm and instead of them fixing it they settled for my husband temporarily nailing it so it could just be up. Again I didn’t say anything, even though I was worried about my children getting hurt by it. Well when it came time to move out it was a mess, getting my security deposit back, they charged a ridiculous amount of money in fees some stuff they were trying to charge me was there before we moved in, basically could care less on how neglectful they were towards us while we lived there. Saying I didn’t put it in the move in check list, I did have pictures though. They just had nothing to say for the ridiculous amount of things I had to say to them about their lack of professionalism. I was able to get some of my money back after I had to point out their mistakes and greediness. They still kept a chunk of it. I’m not saying not to use them, I’m just warning to be aware and to make sure your documenting everything even the littlest things in the house when you move in, because they sure did that to me when I moved out. Also Be on them and persistent when there is an issue. Make sure it’s done right, and by the right people.

Fantastic experience: Almost 6 years ago, Limestone was recommended to me by a friend. Limestone helped me find a rental property in San Antonio even though their office is located in New Braunfels. The staff was beyond professional and bent over backwards to work around my rotating work schedule. When the time came a few years following the rental property that I was occupying, they found the first home that I purchased, and still worked around my crazy work schedule! I recently purchased my second home and turned my first home over to the care of Limestone's property management team, which was probably the best decision I could have ever made. They keep up with my property as if it were their own, and constantly keep me updated with any scheduled repairs or items that need my attention. It truly is worry free.. Through all of this time, I have recommend my friends and family members to go through Limestone for all of their real estate needs. When the time comes, I will use their services again to purchase a third property. You guys do great, and thank you for your endless work!

She is not only professional but she has helped me whenever I needed her to.I have tried other property managements, and although they were not bad they just dont measure up to limestone property management. I would and have recommended them.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional indeed, took over half of my deposit for cleaning and carpet cleaning fees when I have receipts that state it was completed. They want to complain about small issues, but when a big issue happens and they get insurance money they use their own personnel To save money and it looks like trash. they don’t know how to repair anything especially Sheetrock

Negative experience: If you want a place that doesn’t answer your phone calls for weeks - look no further!!! If you want a company that’s impossible to get ahold of and is super unprofessional you came to the right place!!! If you want a company that lies to you and can’t give a straight answer to save their lives - go through these guys because that’s the only thing they’ve nailed. If you want to lease though a company that you call the office and only get through to the maintenance man and it’s like pulling teeth to get ahold of your agent - this is the company for you !!!!

Negative experience: If I could give a 0 rating I would they are very unprofessional they do not return your phone calls very rude I would not recommend this place to anyone not to mention they don’t clean. There was dirt and trash on the floor when I went in

Negative experience: Worst people to rent from. Constantly looking for reasons to say that you are in violation of your lease so they can extort $35 from you. They violate the ADA laws and think nothing of it. TAKE A SUGGESTION AND DON'T RENT FROM THEM OR USE THEM TO RENT YOUR HOUSE.

After being burned a few times, this has really been a great company to work with and I can't recommend them highly enough. Margie, in particular, was very helpful.

Fantastic experience: I've worked with Limestone Country Properties for 4 years or more. I have 2 rental homes and I wouldn't consider using anyone to lease these properties beside Limestone. They protect my interest in my property in who they lease to. I was out of town when one of my homes was being rented and they took care of everything making it a worry free vacation for me. I had full confidence that I was being protected all the way around. Limestone knows the rules and follows them to a T to protect their landlords and properties. I have nothing but good to say about them, and much praise.

Negative experience: Difficult rental company to work with. We paid our rent by mailing a check each month, since the ACH transfer had an associated fee. One month, we paid it early since we'd be out of town for Thanksgiving. Five days after the first of the month, we received notice that our rent was not paid and we had a $15 late fee. After calling the office, they said we applied our payment to our principle balance (we were renters not owners) when paying online. After explaining how we mail in a check each month, the error was corrected with no apology. We were not given the opportunity to have a move-out inspection. The office explained they do that after the tenant leaves. We insisted on the inspection twice and were told that Mark and/or Marie were out of the office on both occasions. As a result, we weren't able to correct any issues with the house or receive an explanation for deductions from our security deposit.

Negative experience: We requested a move-out inspection before we left New Braunfels. Limestone declined our request, inspected the home without us present, and deducted $780 from our security deposit. Renters beware.

Fantastic experience: Marie is very attentive to details and is a great realtor. She has the clients best interest at heart, always! She is also a very good property manager, very thorough and responsive. Highly recommend!
