Fantastic experience: I have been using CB property management in Corvallis to manage myh house in Albany for almost 5 years now and I can't say enough good things about them. They have done an absolutely superlative job of taking care of it for me. Good renters, plus they inspect the property with photos to me during the year and they coordinate all the inspections I want to keep the place in good condition. The accounting has been flawless and they are very responsiver . I wouldn't use anyone else.

Fantastic experience: Our rental process was so smooth, and Alena is so helpful, communicative, and kind! We had a long out-of-state move that was quite stressful (as those moves are), but this rental CBVB was the easiest thing about the move. They even did a virtual tour for us when we couldn't see the property in-person before we committed. When we realized the garbage disposal wasn't working after turning in our move-in paperwork, they still got someone out very quickly to fix it. We absolutely love our rental house, too! Fantastic people here, and a really great experience so far.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved into my new home and had such a wonderful experience throughout the entire process. The team was incredibly fast when it came to setting up the tour and processing our application, which made everything move smoothly from the start. Communication was truly excellent. Pricing was completely transparent, and Alena (we worked with another lady too but I unfortunately cannot remember her name), the property manager, was so pleasant to work with. She was consistently responsive and patient with all of our questions about the house and the application process, which made us feel really supported. They were also very flexible with both our move-in date and scheduling the key pickup, which helped reduce a lot of moving stress. On top of that, the home itself is absolutely beautiful. Overall, this was an easy, stress-free experience, and I would highly recommend working with this team!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful ladies who work with our landlord. It's nice that they seem to have a good working relationship. He needed y'all and y'all have more than come through. I also greatly appreciate the young lady who run the front area. Her fashion sense is amazing and she has the sweetest personality! I would like to say, as a person that's had a few brain strokes, I deeply appreciate the ladies who work with me and who were wonderful with my senior dog.

Fantastic experience: Coldwell Banker Valley Brokers Property Management has been amazing during my short, going to be much longer, time with them as a property management company. I was having a rough time finding a new place to live, given I am the proud dad of a 125 lb Great Dane. This was made slightly more difficult due to financial difficulties my roommate and I had going into the process. With past experiences in mind, I laid all of my cards on the table and explained our situation. The wonderful people at Coldwell, Pam in particular, went above and beyond in working with us to find a place that both suited our needs and helping us through financing options. As I hadn't rented in half a decade, I asked about a million questions and the staff at Coldwell were always available, day or night to answer my questions. They even advised me, when Murphy decided to raise his pointy head, to NOT pay them when it was clear that I had somehow angered the online banking gods, saving me hundreds in overdraft and DNF charges. Long story short, if you're looking for a property management company that is flexible, goes the extra mile and genuinely cares about their clients, renters and homeowners, you can't go wrong with Coldwell. 11/10 will be recommending to anyone I come across looking for a place to rent. Fantastic experience: Many years ago we cut ties with this company due to a specific individual that worked there. This company reached back out to us once that individual no longer worked there and while I was hesitant at first we have been pleasantly surprised and have been having a wonderful work relationship with this company. The new managers have completely changed our view/experience for the absolute better. It is refreshing to work with a property management that is interested in having things fixed right the first time instead of being fixed as cheap as possible. The managers are quick to respond, thorough and have their renters well being in mind with every move and decision I have seen them make! What a wonderful turn around and positive impact new management can make!

Negative experience: Do not rent from this company. From day one getting keys knowing our move in date. Almost didn't have a home for 24 hours with 4 children because they chose to paint the day of our move in. To ending our lease 3 months early "without penalties" and then trying to charge partial rent for the same unit myself spouse children and belongings were no longer residing in. Accessing the unit solely to meet the requirements of the end of tenant cleaning check list. They don't work well with renters God forbid life happens unrealistic will not work with you in any form. Life can not happen under Coldwell valley Brokers, convinced brokers is in the name because they know over charge rental cost, By far the worst company I've ever experienced with rentals and being a renter for almost two decades. They don't communicate anything that's not more or less 24 hours. You can not enjoyable live in their rental dwelling even in small neighborhoods in a house not apparent living. Most importantly they think they know every loophole to avoid any legal action unfortunately that is not the case. If you like enjoyable living and dwelling in your rental having property management that works with you when life happens. Then this is not the property management for you especially if you any disabilities might ask for proof of your disability. Everything about this property management is unethical.

Negative experience: I set up a tour of a property with Pam, only to show up with no one there and upon calling Pam, was informed she made the mistake of sending the wrong property with the tour information. Not a great experience as my roommate and I both took of work to make the touring time work all for nothing.

Fantastic experience: Thank you CBVB! I lived in a house managed by CBVB for 4 years during college and can’t say enough about Marlena Thomas. They were always respectful, reasonable, and negotiable especially when it came to times where we may have been in violation of our lease by accident. We really got the feeling that they were not trying to pull one over on us with anything, and as long as we let them know that we wanted to fix the issue as well, they were extremely accommodating. We also had the cheapest rent out of all of our friends! We had one appliance fail during our stay and it was replaced with a quality unit, and not some cheap landlord special. Thank you for a great 4 years!

Negative experience: Rented from them for over 7 years. It started out really well, but when management changed things took a turn for the worse. I could give a long list of "miscommunications", but it won't change things. If you rent from them, document everything, especially ESA letters. Also, the "24 hour notice" only applies to the renter, not the management. Just read previous reviews on particular individuals and tread lightly.

Negative experience: Unbelievably unprofessional and lazy overall rude and unpleasant.

Negative experience: We lived in a property that was not managed by them initially, and then the property owner contracted them to manage it. When it was time to move out, we cleaned as expected. We also anticipated a charge to our account due to some floor damage. Coldwell then attempted to charge us hundreds of dollars extra for a deep clean of the house on top of the repair. They claimed that the walls needed repainting and that we had damaged them beyond normal wear and tear. It was only my wife and I living there with no pets or children. The whole situation was terrible and we will never rent from them again. Today I found out that our close friends, who rented out the place after us, are being charged hundreds of dollars in cleaning fees after they moved out. The exact same play by the company as they did with us. My friends also are pet and child free and are very clean people. The best part is when we visited our friends maybe a month after they moved in, the walls were in the same shape as when we moved out and had not been repainted whatsoever. Coldwell Banker Valley Brokers do not deserve your business and I highly suggest to stay away.

Positive experience: They do try to take care of your property or you as a tenant BUT they really like to charge both tenant and property owner for some crazy things.... as tenants watch out for charges due to the yard, as property owners the maintenance they do is not quality work....we have a broken pocket door which we now have to replace (but had to pay for them to put back on "track"? Our door trim is messed up due to door stoppers they charge us for.) They try but renting (as a renter or property owner) is somewhat of a joke! It will take a few months to clean up the paint and random broken portions in our house.

Property Management was so awesome they even explained on how I could get a money order to pay my rent because I couldn't get in touch with my mom! I would recommend anyone new to renting to go to Coldwell!

Negative experience: I don't usually leave reviews of places but was compelled to document the outrageous and unprofessional conduct of Coldwell during our move out process. Seeing the other reviews on here, I wish I had gone with another property management company, but moving from out of state, that was tough. In the 2.5 years we rented through Coldwell, there was significant turn over in the property management staff (something that should've tipped us off). As another reviewer stated, they say one thing on the phone and then another on paper. We were charged for beyond normal wear and tear when we moved out, despite leaving the property in far better condition than we received it. They even tried to charge us for things that were clearly documented as missing or broken when we moved in. It was obvious they hadn't read the inspection report before they tried to charge us. The minute we attempted to argue this, our phone calls were repeatedly ignored and communication stopped. We were given the run around of all kinds of excuses (someone out sick, employees leaving, screening our calls etc.) and when someone did finally decide to email us back they were rude and unprofessional. If you can avoid working with this branch, do it. It'll save you weeks of frustration and headaches just trying to get a simple answer. I think it speaks volumes that there has been so much turnover in staff, and clearly the unprofessionalism isn't a new thing based on the other reviews left.

Negative experience: Terrible management company with rude, unprofessional employees. If you have to rent from them make sure you document everything and take a lot of pictures when you move in. They will try to nickel and dime you out of all of your damage deposit.

Negative experience: Lived at a rental managed by them for a year and a half. For the entirety of this time email correspondence was at best, snarky with a particular woman. The jiffyfix crew they use only temporarily fixed things then blamed us for why they didn't work, when in reality they weren't fixing it correctly. I will never choose to do business with them again.

Fantastic experience: I am an investor living in Las Vegas and Coldwell Banker Valley Brokers manage 2 of my properties in Oregon. Trina has been especially professional in the handling of my properties. Thanks to them I have 2 great tenants. They are proactive on inspections and do regular drive- bys, to keep an eye on my properties. Communication is very important to me since I am a long way from my properties and they do a great job of keeping me informed and up to date. They are quick to take or return by call

Our move-in process was thorough and well-documented, yet respective of our time and schedules during the move. Our Property Manager, Marlena, is very responsive, organized, communicative, and involved in making sure our home is safe, comfortable, and that maintenance issues are addressed quickly. She is very professional and pleasant to work with. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Complete nightmare of a company. My husband and I are opening a business, and we are renting a building from Coldwell Banker. This process is still ongoing, filled with lies and dropped promises and reassurances. The employee we went through at Coldwell Banker lied many times, and we are getting completely screwed. I highly reccommend you never ever use this company, you will get screwed in the end.

Positive experience: I have a mixed review of this company. I rented from them for 2 yrs. When I first moved in,there were things that didn't work but when I made them aware of them,they fixed everything very promptly. The maintenance crew they use,Jiffyfix,was awesome. I am disabled and they put up a handrail and no slip strips in my back deck. They replaced appliances with new ones and everyone I dealt with in the office was always very friendly. I enjoyed my tenancy very much. However, after I moved out(I gave over a months notice and allowed them to take pics of my decorated apt and show it) I paid a professional cleaner to do a "clean out" of my apt and it was returned in great condition. They not only took my full $650 deposit but they said I owed them $22 more! I called and talked to Marlena and after a week of them going over their pics they agreed to give me back $300. I moved out of state so I excepted this. They tried to charge me for normal wear and tear. I should also note that the previous place I rented from refunded me my whole $700 deposit when I vacated. Fantastic experience: Recently rented a house through Coldwell Banker; they also manage the property. I can honestly say, they are the best property management company I have worked with. We have one point of contact, she responds to our issues immediately, and goes above and beyond to make our home safe and pleasant. We feel extremely grateful to have such a competent and thorough person on our side. Everyone at the office is friendly and pleasant. We can pay our rent and report issues via the Coldwell Banker website and we get a response almost immediately. Highly recommend. :)
