Negative experience: We recently purchased our 3rd home from Enchanted. Although Long Team was the listing agent, we had no real contact or business dealings with them. Rick did appear at closing to represent the selling agent. But for Nick Allen with Cornerstone, I’m not sure we’d be closed yet. There were numerous issues weeks prior to closing and stayed unaddressed by the job superintendent right up to closing. We had to refuse to close, and involve Nick Allen since the Longs were never around and the job superintendent told us he had done all he could do, two hours prior to our closing. I might add that in the 7 months from signing to closing, we actually saw that Job superintendent a total of 3 times. This was CLEARLY the most lax stressful home purchase we’ve ever had. There seems to never be anyone in the model home to assist you in any way although there’s a phone number if you’d like to try to reach a member of the Long Team. I did contact the Long Team after closing to request the removal of the dumpster which was in front of our house and that was promptly taken care of. Just wanted everyone to be aware and prepared.

Negative experience: The house buying experience was a challenge from Day 1. We made an offer for a spec home and never received a counteroffer or refusal. Instead, we were advised there was another buyer interested and if we wanted to increase our offer or risk losing this house. This house was on the market for 6 months and suddenly there was a second offer immediately following our initial offer. This seemed too coincidental and a pressure tactic to extract maximum dollars from us. The experience was not pleasant for us. The builder seems like a good constructor and our dealings to date with them has been positive.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience building our first home with ECS. They helped us change our floor plan and add square footage to our garage and covered porch. They also installed a double sliding glass door and larger kitchen island that we picked out from other vendors. We had our own appliances but we weren't able to have them installed before the house was inspected. ECS brought in a stove for the inspection. We had to sell the house for a job transfer and unfortunately ECS doesn't build in the area where we moved. We spoke to GSH about building for us. When we asked about changing a floor plan and making the garage bigger they told us absolutely not. We would us ECS again if able.

Steven is very professional and gives true information on anything you ask, he's is very reliable and takes his job seriously. It took us months to find a home of our liking but Steven stuck through it with us while we searched. I truly couldn't ask for a better realtor.
